  1. As has been said before if you are happy living like this ,great , to me it would be existing , and as we are only on this planet for a short time i soon realizec that i would never be remembered in history and they were never going to put up statues to me , so i ensured that at least while i was here i was going to make it as comfortable as i could with lots of nice things ,luckily i was able to do this , so while the money and my health lasts i am bloody well going to enjoy it , by the way our bedroom is bigger than the op,s studio .

  2. Yes, by my single life experience, most of the divorced Thai women I met did with their husbands, and they didn't cheated back....not because they didn't wanted, because personal and social concerns, and afraid also of violence.

My wife told me that I can do it with discretion and not sharing with her at all. I told her that I do not have reason to do it, when she is very beautiful, 25 years younger, I love her very much, and I barely can take care take of her sexual needs.

When I asked her why she thinks that I will cheat her. Her response was.."Because you are a man"

'25 years younger'!! I'm sure she's after you for you good looks and charm. Good luck!
I am 24 years older than my wife,we have a son of 22 ,she earns very good money in property and owns loads of land( which by the way she owned before I met her)

So is she with me for my good looks and charm? Or here is a thought, maybe she loves me

If it's the right price or cheaper you've got a chance of selling it

What property is it? Price? Pics?

But to be honest if its a house over 2 million very little ,

  4. What pisses the old duffers of, is easy enough, their money cant but them back their youth or golden years.

Thankfully modern medicine now gives little blue pills, but it aint enough to give their teerak what she wants, hence why the motocy taxi driver or brother is always hanging around the house.

Over on another thread is 54 pages of teenage angst, why is the Brit Gov't ripping me off, why cant I get Thai citizenship, I cant speak a word of Thai.

Spend 35 years down pit lad, paid me union dues an that, sold me two up two down in Donny, came here and scored some lass no decent Thai man from village would look at.

Jeez CH, you dont know the half of it.

Gawds gift to women couldnt even afford a BUS TICKET to Bkk return, free loaded off his mates.

Never mind, what about the money seasoning technique, or money in money out trick to satisfy immi,, money from one acount tx into another, hang on gramps, its the same moeny going round and round.

Great stuff, head up your local boozer up my way and bitch and moan your pension aint being updated, you would be chased out the place, with glases flying, living the dream in these times of austerity, piss off gramps..

You must have taken exams in bullshit , because you certainly write enough of it cheesy.gif

  5. For every pensioner quietly going about his business, not demanding preferential treatment, enjoying his life on a nice, comfortable pension he paid into over a lifetime of hard graft, there's 20 more hanging on by the skin of their teeth financially - subsisting on food hall noodles and a happy hour Leo.

I was just finishing my breakfast while reading this post, Green curry with Chicken MaMa pot noodles from 7-11, 13bht.

No need to waste money travelling to a food hall!

No Leo though, just a mug of tea ...... but I do use every tea bag twice (less than 1bht a mug).

How can you live like that ,its disgusting , the Tom Yam shrimp one is far far better .thumbsup.gif

    perhaps that's 50 Satang more expensive? huh.png

No, the Tom Yam is only 11bht, I splash out on the expensive Chicken Curry @ 13bht.

13 baht? Luxury, pure luxury, some people have money to burn ,mind you I did try that pad Thai in a box once 20 baht, wow,the extravagance

  7. Just started on a nice little period political drama from the ole UK BBC4….Wolf Hall, set around characters like thomas cromwell, henry the 8th and cardinal wollesley.

Nice bit of work by all.

I watched this series some time ago,now this is what the BBC was invented for superb, watch it and wonder why they have become so PC and useless, but can still produce treasures like this, also a new series the lost kingdom, has just started, and series 2 of the leftovers, very different from series 1 so far

  8. Yes well we live here on my pension , our son is in uni and we rent a condo for him in Bangkok , so its easy to live here on a pension ,oh and we sold our quite large house in the UK and my wife earns quite a lot of money in real estate , it does helpthumbsup.gif

Ps to the young guys who always go on about us getting a pension and to Cameron

ITS NOT A BENIFIT ,I PAID IN FOR IT ALL MY LIFE .,SO THERE.

  9. I just asked the wife if her agency had anything , i know she just rented a nice little place for 10k ,on a clean estate , but she says it is quite rare she also just rented another ,but without any garden for 8500, her best suggestion is to drive around looking for houses with a board on as most Thai people just advertize cheap houses themselves , sorry i could not be more help ,but the wife is very experianced and she should know ,best of luck .

  10. As previously stated be sensible in what you do and how you behave , not silly as your as your remarks and answers suggest , Claudiest where did you live before was it Syria ? .

Lived here all that time , and already 11 posts , but i am afraid no sense of humour , i can remember when Jomtien was a day out , just hills and beaches ,no buildings like now and 11 years ago .smile.png

  11. When you come to Pattaya, you need to wear a bulletproof best at all times ,also make sure you are armed and never ever walk alone after lunchtime, especially down beach rd ,there are lots of Indians who will acost you ,and blue pickups with seats in the back ,they will honk their horns and ask you to get in then try and get as much ofyour money as they can, beware it is an evil place ,and don't get me started on the Russians up in Jomtien

Jomtien is a safe place , nice bars nice restaurants , same as any were else be sensible in what you do , at this moment in time there is a lot of construction going on down the lower end , trying to improve the area , dont take to much notice of the statement saying you need a bullet proof vest , i have lived in this area for 12 years .

Sorry , as so many of you took me seriously , bullet proof vests are no longer needed it seems , Jomtien is now crime free (since the Russians left)tongue.png

Get a life ,or get out more ,it was a joke ,God some people

  13. Guys, If you are really in need, the trip to Buriram will be worth it, Multifocal not recommended, to many likely issues, I researched all before doing this, all the Hospitals, Rutnin, BP, Vejthani, etc. This Doctor was trained in Australia, his Clinic is Immaculate! Farang Style. I know of 2 People who went to the Naval Hospital, both had problems, one is now almost Blind. I will comment no more!

Funny i go to the naval hospital regularaly , and my wife has spoken to so many people who have had eye surgery there with no problems .
