  1. That was like my niece called แหม่ม when she was overseas.  She was going to go back to Thailand, and my mum said, if a guy grabs your breast, you should say "อย่า"

She said but what if he grabs my waist or lower?  Then my mum said, you should say "หยุด"

So.. anyway, 5 months later she announces that she is pregnant!!! We were SHOCKED!

I ask her how it happened after my mum's good advice.....

    แม่สอนดี  แต่แฟนหนูจับนมและที่อื่นด้วย  หนูก็บอกไอหื่นอย่าหยุด!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :D:o

  2. I dont know what  :D means, but I find these kind of checks weird. Anyways your passports are stamped and checked in the immigration? officers desks right? So, why somebody in customs wants to take a copy of your passport and a signature!??

perhaps for a credit card application?? :o

Get home from the airport and 2 weeks later a letter for "Hello Mr John congratulations on the purchase of your new BMW" :D

  3. Depends on what kind of love. Love ya tonight , love you in the morning, love you always or married kinda love. Love in all the right places! Fall in and outta love daily. :D

The word love is abused daily. I rarely use that word unless I truly believe I love the person in question. So far I have used it with my family only. To me I believe the word love has lost it's meaning so in order to try and keep it alive I use it when I mean it.

Lady In Red - I don't agree love can be faked. Ever seen a couple and saw love written on their expressions, their eyes, their actions? I know I have. But on the other hand seeing is not always believing is it. For all I know it could of been some lusty couple. Both terms are often mistaken for one another and I think neither can be faked.

:D Shot on. Got a good life ahead of you.

    Thankyou :D

If only we could the idea of Lust out of our heads huh... STOP Dwelling on it f :o

True love has to be between to people. anything else is LUST :D

  4. This GPRS problem which you guys see (and me too :D  ) is not a problem of the websites you visit, and also not a problem of international Internet connections. It might however be a problem of an overload of the local mobile phone network around you.

Also it is simply that GPRS is not ideal at all for data connections. It has a too long  latency, which means it takes ages before data starts to move back and forth. Once it moves it is not too bad, but then the second problem kicks in: Data - timeouts. Your PC is waiting for a data packet from the Internet, and it doesn't come, it got lost on the way. If too much of that happens, the communication gets out of sync, and needs to reset  -> You have to reload the webpage.

I think that these timeouts are mainly caused by the less than perfect installation of the technology in the mobile phone networks. As long as suppliers are selected by the kickback amount and not by the quality this will stay the problem here.

Due to this problem with GPRS and EDGE I did switch to Hutch CDMA, which works usually much better. 3 times GPRS speed, much less latency. But even here the problems started yesterday, International connections do get for almost all websites an "Access Denied" page by "proxy02.pacific.net.th"

Hmm, Hutch gets the International service by CAT, the monopoly for International internet connections in LOS. Hutch service does say the problem is known and lies with the CAT, and 1000 apologies.

So why does the CAT wants to block Yahoo and Google now? :D  :o  :D

Some thinsgs to remember GPRS and EDGE technologies have two major problems right know.. ammount of traffic (Bandwidth) Is a major issue. This is something that PCS is seeing in the USA and I must confess had the same problems in Thailand 2 weeks ago. The other is that environmental issues can also be problems. ie weather storms clouds, distance from towners.... .

  5. CSA, IR etc don't worry me personally, but that lifetime debt thing could be awkward for some widows, in due course.

Does it mean that an executor might have to pay off debts to the Government out of assets, and then there could be nothing left for the widow?

It may be that there is information about how a falang husband should organise his affairs, so he leaves his Thai wife as well off as possible, if he 'pops his clogs' first. If so, somebody please tell us where to find it.

I have come across some Brits who believe there is still a Widow's Pension paid by DSS in UK, and expect that their widow would get half the DSS pension; but there isn't, and the widow wouldn't.

    hi ..

are you assuming the poor falang husband will die first?

thinking about it .... i guess thats part of the deal....?

    amarka :o

I dont know about anyone else but I dont plan to die first..

  6. Do you have the list? What about places with adult venues like Nana Plaza?

nana, soi cowboy and patpong area are left unprotected as possible "honey pot" for terrorists for "recreational" purposes.

Sales of "shish - kebab" and "shawerma" are increased by 15% since last month at the nana area too.

complete list of places is available at Ministry Of Defence and Security on demand. or soon - on TVisa

Wish they would issue gun permits to those who know how to use them, then the terrorists would say "we would attack the westerners in Bangkok but they are all armed” :D

Thus and true, corrupt politicians inspire assassins. Of course they don't want people to have guns. Politicians never trust the people to whom they give reason to shoot them.

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." GW :D

I can only think you must come from some lawless country that allows people to carry guns willy nilly because the ruling poiticians are gun crazy too. You have one guess as to which country I'm referring to.

: :o : Notice my friend that it is very funny if you think about it. On the one hand every country in the world likes to bash us in the open. But yet you sure love our money, and lets not forget our PROTECTION when you can't take care of yourselves. How ever I agree that giving people the right to carry concealed weapons is not a good idea. There are to many trigger happy people out there.
