He is not alone with a case of chronic, premature vocabulation. Just another creature trying to stay relevant in an ocean of mediocrity.

Lock down the roads. Close the petrol stations. Ban new drivers. Shut down the whole system. It's an epidemic of death on Thai roads. No vaccine for inept drivers and a clueless government which is helpless to stem the carnage on Thai roads.

I think your post is an embarrassment to all expats here. The majority of Thai's are good people and will be sickened, just as much as we are, by this.
I'm not the least embarrassed by free speech, even if not completely factual. This is about the corrupt minority, just as when a solitary foreigner commits a crime and the media labels the innocent and law abiding along with the guilty on the basis of nationality.

I thought embarrassment or shame do not exist on Thai Vocab?
Add legitimacy, ethics and honour (honor) to the growing list.

The usual suspects.

Well, serious brake fade could have happened if they kept their foot on the brakes for a very long period instead of using the engine and gears to reduce the need for excessive brake pressure..
I wonder if drivers have any concept of using the engine and lower gears to reduce speed downhill. From observation these years, the accelerator pedal is the favorite option.

Corruption is connected to many of the ills that plague Thailand. Name one problem area and corruption most likely has its long reaching tentacles embracing it.

Do some research. Your limb is a weak one.

We'll have to live with covid...What do you suggest? Shutting down FOR EVER? All Thailand can do is mass immunization and exercise the controls as they doing. You have no right to critise or make gloomy predictions without offering a better solution.
"You have no right to critise or make gloomy predictions without offering a better solution.". Re-read what you posted. It sounds like you are in charge of the printed word.

It's a proven fact that worldwide, 82.842089% of reported statistics are made up on the spot.
Seriously, does anyone truly know how many people are living/visiting/hiding out in Bangkok?
So true. What is the truth about all this?
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Quess work, fortune telling, Ouija Board practice, crystal ball consultation, TAT, and other "officials" issuing wishful statements (AKA lies), forecasts, prayers, amulets, edicts, etc. Entertaining and comical.

Some people will come. I am more than willing and able as I am semi retired and not heading to Thaland looking for a wild two week holiday. Thailand always was just a great hangout place for me. Between my contract engineering jobs, I was on the next flight to Thailand while searching and waiting for my next gig. It was usually easier to fly to Thailand than for me to drive back across the country from California to my home in Florida. Love walking around. Always loved the baht bus easy on easy off pickup trucks. What a great and inexpensive way to get around a city. Casual daily foot massage, swim in the pool, a little night life now and then. Food from all around the world. Plenty of company to meet up with during the day as needed. Meditation at the Thai Temples. I would be content without all the gogos and bars open. They are a nice distractions and certainly have enjoyed them now and then. Music, cold drink, pretty Thai figured ladies. stopping into PapaGuyaos on Soi Diana late at night. But I can survive quite fine without them. People watching at KISS open 24 hours. Love and miss Pattaya. As vaccinated, make the arrival make sense and they would get my retirement monies.
I condensed your post when reading. Bottom line up front.

Was taxpayer funding used to purchase that stupid cartoomesque "statue" outside the police station?
Whoever approved the purchase of it should be done for fraud.
The statue compliments the police and the level of esteem they are regarded as.

Meaningless propaganda for the common Thai of modest means. Money = Better care much like most countries I've lived in or where I've accessed care.

More shall be revealed after the smoke has settled. I look forward to outside investigative journalism uncovering the lies, deceptions and manipulation concerning this entire Covid affair. History has shown that power is often abused by those up high.
