Look,I ain’t no spring chicken. I been through Thailand. Somebody needs to tell me how on earth farm workers who don’t even have shoes and travel through provinces for work are gonna be able to get and carry vaccine papers around with them. And will they all be denied passage if the chicken ate their papers? This stuff is ridiculous it all needs to be canned. Open up, no <deleted> papers for <deleted> sake.
So true. Thanks for sharing the pissibilities.????

"He like others called for clarity from the government to give guidance to tourism businesses and confidence to foreign tourists". Clarity does not exist when multiple talking-heads continue issuing guidance which is contradictory and inconsistent.

Big money to be made. Check where the kit is manufactured. China has jumped onto this bandwagon of profit.

in Australia, it's a full lockdown and the population (with red or yellow jackets) is out in the street asking for blood ????
don't know if you have seen it on TikTok, but some of those protests in Australia are awesome, police fleeing the scene being chased by locals etc... roadblocks with trucks etc... ????
I see a revolution coming in Australia ????
Freedom does not come cheap. Disarm, then Registration, Confiscation and Incarceration. History repeats itself Down Under. Sad.

I don't believe words coming from those who are contrilled by government, and some who are not.

Economic sense? He must have seen that on a TAT poster. The reality is, is that Economic non-sense has ruined the livelihoods of millions of Thais.

They are right, he is not above the law and has to be isolated if positive. I don't think Samui has a home isolation program that would be able to accommodate him. Obviously shouldn't have taken his passport though but yes, if you don't pay your hospital bill, you can expect to be deported in many countries or have your visa cancelled or not able to renew. Wonder what he is "volunteering" for now after his restaurant went out of business. If it's like all the other volunteers that suddenly popped up after the borders closed, then he shouldn't be bringing attention to himself if he wants to stay in Thailand.
Suggest you re-read your post. Insert yourself as the person experiencing this and consider the criticism and smug judgement that you have imposed upon yourself.

"that caused Thai teen to rob gold shop after losses". His poor decision to rob the gold shop is the cause.

Two-wheels fly at high speed, zig-zagging in and out of traffic, no helmet, but wearing the all protective mask. No proactive traffic enforcement and the death totsl keeps clicking on the meter, faster than the Covid counter so popular these days.

I think being a visitor to the country we should respect their laws....whether we agree with them is another matter.
I obey the laws of any land that I am in. What others "should" do is their businesses. Can't figure out who the "we" are. Perhaps replace with "I"?

According to whom? The CCP is the media in China, and not known for honest and transparent reporting.

With corruption and secrecy in both camps, it is believable.

Fteedom of speech is not intended to be comfortable in all instances. The CCP cannot stifle commentary outside their "barbwire borders".

They must want the small businesses to fold up. Stay tuned for a retraction, change or tap-dance around the issue.

And now, it's up to the Thai people.

For sure accompanied by lots of Covid and more deaths.
Suggest you research how many people have died from Covid 19 in Thailand. This isn't the Black Death as some would have it believed. Compared with Thai traffic deaths, it seems odd that the roads haven't been shut down.

Numbers, statistics, charts, graphs and such. All seemingly reliant on officials and others who have a vested (perhaps monetary) interest in either higher or lower numbers.
This number driven media hysteria, generated by the daily tally, begs to be verified by asking the who, what, when, why and how. I don't believe half of it, and the other half is suspect.
