Makro have them.
They are advertised in the present issue of the Makro Mail.
The 2man version 269 baht.
The 6man version 459 baht.
sure they are beach tents, not just 'normal' tents ?
any chance you could post a link, with piccies....

Extra on Klang has a whole section with such gear.
those are just normal tents - if you see the llnk in the op, the beach tent is completely open at the front....

You know I used a PCX 150 for 3 months & I thought it was kinda a turd on wheels.

Yes i am sure the book has it correct, not the real people
Anyhow, back to the topic at hand. So would you care to share your BUSINESS experience? hopefully the real life not what you read in the books
There is a book? I imagine they actually knew the correct names of the person..and the siblings. Let me know the title and I'll keep an eye out for a copy for you
the sad part is you actually think you smart
I guess nothing on the topic?
You think I am smart
Lemoncake, from your posting style, I believe that one of your best qualities is your ability to make others look so good
LOL.....

So the poor OP is made fun of by some for not knowing how much electric, water or internet may cost and then also makes fun of their wives for not being able to make a phone call.
Well, I also would not know how much electricity and water and an internet system would cost for a hotel, so if I wanted to know, I would ask. Because you know how much your electricity costs at your condo or home, does not equate to a hotel. Seems logical to ask for some information on this.
That one poster feels the need to charge by the hour for such info, probably says more about his own business than anything else and as another poster eludes above, seems he has a poor hotel himself somewhere with no guests. Not the ideal model to garner info I would think.
I guess that is why there are people who own business and people who only want to know.
I am certain a halfwit would understand that different hotels have different bills, depending on number of rooms, occupancy, even down to type if air cons used, energy saving smart cards etc
Price per unit is the same nationwide.
Not the wisest choice to post utter rubbish based on what you think or others like to think, but I guess in Thailand all become savy business people with highest of education and money sense, and yet for some reason struggling to live off pension or in 5000 baht rooms
Oh you big business owner you...or do you prefer 'entrepreneur'
Funny thing is, most people become business owners, not born business owners, unless fabulously wealthy and handed to them...is that you fruitcake? Fabulously wealthy and handed a 3 room guesthouse in the ass end of civilization?
Most people could gather from information raised, that if you had a 15 room hotel and it cost xxx amount, then if you wanted to run a 30 room hotel, the electric should cost xxx amount less a % for common areas and that could be good enough for budgetry purposes....but I would like to hear fruit cakes Harvard business version.
'well considering that i said i own a hotel'
3 rooms above a shop house hardly counts as a hotel.....unless you're ' bigging it up' like all the people you keep dissing.....

Hell I use my Kawasaki 650 ER6n in Pattaya & it rides in between traffic lanes effortlessly. And the weight is quite a bit more than the 400 scooters.
Pattaya would be do-able for the ride, but as others suggested it is old & was not the most popular scooter back in it's day so parts may have to be tracked down. But if the price is right you can't get to banged up on resale. The PCX will lose value quickly the minute they change the model cut( about every 3rd year the bike loses value. The Forza or Sim probably a better ride but way more than what you will be paying. And That old you have inspections every year. Good luck on any way you go with it!
i'd rather be taking PCX depreciation on the chin rather than ER6N depreciation now the CB500 range is out.....
a 3 year old PCX is worth circa 50,000b - compared to its 72,500b purchace price - some loss - that's almost as cheap as getting the Baht bus.
A geared 650cc bike in Pattaya traffic is pure torture, thats why "in Pattaya the PCX is king"
-
Too small fir me but probably a good idea to list it in the TV Classifieds and on GT Rider website. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
thanks for the tip......

i've sold my bike and wondered if anyone here might be interested in my biker's jacket...
its been worn literally once - ie back from the shop.........size is 42 inch chest - good quality, waterproof and breathable nylon with back protector, armoured shoulder and elbow pads.........
it cost 4,000 b - i'd like to get 2,500 b for it.....
pm me if interested...i'm in Pattaya,.....

Riding around town= PCX.
One time I was riding around town on my PCX with a Forza on my tail pipe and as soon as we hit traffic he was not going anywhere and was stuck behind cars and I never saw him again.
The Forza must surely be one of the top contenders as most ugly scooter ever, yes?
Out on the highway a Forza/Sym is way better than a PCX.
just about sums up why - 'in pattaya, pcx is king'.......
-
....pcx.......

77000!!! Keen price if that includes on the road and one years theft insurance!
I would pay that in a heart beat. All the dealers around Pattaya are asking 82900 or more.
Chiang Mai Gate is a fair hike to buy a bike though.
Anyone know of a dealer in Bangkok or close by that has price on or near 77k?
I am ready to buy.
was quoted 72,500 at mityon yesterday.....plus 1900 otr, - theft ins was 5000 as i recall....matt black 3000b x tra

Anyone heard of rebates within 4/5 months? some claim they had them at this time
1yr 1 month......4 month, don't believe....
-
It has been suggested that it is caused by a build up of dust in the clutch caused by doing a lot of stop and go city riding. It is not unique to PCX as many CVT scooters suffer from this. A good rural ride at 80-90 kph will "blow out" the dust and the shudder will diminish or disappear until the next bout of stop and go city riding causes the dust to build up again.
agreed.....

"we'll package it up and send it to you in the post, first class, delivered straight through your letterbox".
Yes right, I'm sure. This has to be a spoof web site. DERV at 55p a litre?
"There appears to be a problem with our ordering system"
I bet there is.
don't they do humour in Lancs ?
