    You can try again.

The blank page indicates that you have a pop up blocker that is blocking a message to contact your local office. Try disabling any pop up blocker that is active.

When you fill out page 1 again be sure that you have not made any mistakes when completing the required fields. Be sure you use the drop down menu for your nationality. I suggest you only complete the required fields marked with a *.

Thanks a lot, Ubonjoe. I will try again later.

  2. I was just told by immigration when extending my ED visa that I have run out of pages to stamp and need to get a new passport by April.

I've heard you can't just add pages anymore. Is that correct?

If anyone has recent experience renewing their passport at the US embassy in Bangkok, please share.

Do they destroy the old passport but leave the visa page unharmed?

  3. Thanks, craigt3365. I've been to Sam Roi Yot, which is largely open plains rather than rain forest and dense vegetation, which is what I am looking for. Have you been to Khao Yai? I can't comment on Khao Sok, but Khao Yai is spectacular. Only disadvantage is the high elevation, which makes it chilly at night, especially if it's raining. When looking for reptiles, as I am apt to do, a warmer climate is preferable.

  4. I am trying to find a national park (or something resembling one) in Thailand that is similar to Khao Yai. I've Googled a few, and it seems some of them require you to hire a guide when entering the park. I want to be able to wander off by myself without being ushered around. I would prefer a park with roads where I can drive around by myself, but if there are no roads, that might be okay too.

I'd like to read about your experiences.

  5. The only thing objectionable about this is I wasn't the one getting serviced.

You are a bunch of uptight prudes.

For anyone who gets offended by this sort of thing, there is a very easy solution. If you don't know what it is, let me know and I'll share.

Many agree, the BJ in itself, is not offensive..

It's doing it public, for children of all ages can see.

And, it's a discussion between people with different points of view..

And the wrong site for a lonely person, wishing they could get a BJ period..

Why is children seeing people having sex such a horrific thing? I would argue they don't get the least bit offended, especially if it's not their own parents doing it. We pretend that we want to protect our children from it, but in realty it is the parents who feel uncomfortable, not our children. So it's the parents' problem, is it not? I'd probably feel uncomfortable too if my (hypothetical) son and I had walked past this couple, but throwing them in jail? Come on. It's a brief awkward moment, not the severe trauma many of you are making it out to be.

I never said throw them in jail.. But they should be..

Never said anything about severe trauma..

Kids of 'all age' is including "all ages", not just children.

And, if you or others are having sex in front of your/their children, then that's your/their business.

Just like others, missing the point, that it's not the act of having sex..

If I had actually said that it was about the sex act, you might have had a point.

  6. I just don't get it!

    You want to be outraged?

    Over a blowjob?

    Seriously?

I could give you list of things, to be outraged over- in Thailand, as Thais (or Thai'er than Thai- farangs) or elsewhere!

2 consenting adults going at each other in public...that is, what get's your blood boiling?

    Strange times, indeed!

I understand that it may make some people uncomfortable, but I agree, outraged? Calling for their imprisonment? It is reminiscent of the primitive mindset of Muslims who get outraged when someone draws a cartoon of their prophet.

  8. I had a similar experience in Bueng Kahn a couple years ago, except I was a passenger in the car that ran it over.

I assumed the driver was going to swerve or slam on the brakes when the dog did not move out of way, so I kept quiet until the last second, when all I could do was blurt out a panicked string of gibberish. After the dog got squished under one of the wheels, I turned around in horror and saw it writhing in pain, incapacitated and undoubtedly with a few broken bones, but the driver didn't even bother looking in the rear view mirror. No one else in the car, including my girlfriend, seemed to think it was a big deal, which frankly disgusted me. But I guess they might have been more concerned about the driver losing face. Not sure exactly what I should have done. I'm not proud that I just let the driver leave the dog to die, but even suggesting that he might take it to a vet would be wildly unrealistic.

  9. It might be helpful to know where you are as that will make a big difference as to what may or may not be available. Most people have been dropping land line phones so there may be more of a chance to obtain a line than previously. If you install some of the new internet fiber packages they include a land line. Perhaps you just need to use a different mobile service (or higher speed option)?

I am in Bangkok. I have tried other mobile services, but none is what I would call reliable.

  10. I have been using my mobile phone for international calls, but the line is almost always so bad it is hard to have a normal conversation, and last time it cut off like five times before I finally gave up.

So I need a reliable land line. What is my best option? I have heard of VoIP but don't know what I need to get it set up or who I need to contact. I welcome any informed opinions.

  11. Someone else had the same issue here http://www.tenforums.com/graphic-cards/55224-dual-monitors-error-message-didnt-detect-another-display.html so try what it says in post #2:

"Have you tried the Windows Key + P to access the dual monitor setup? You might be setup as duplicate rather than extend."

I've just proved it works on my dual monitor system (which is NOT an HP, BTW) however that IS the standard W10 procedure.

Oh...and hint....... Google is your friend! whistling.gif I happened to know this but I found that particular thread by putting "HP Pavilion 550-152I" into Google

    Do let us know.......

Thanks, Google was my first resort, and the thread you linked to was posted by yours truly. I wanted to cast as wide a net as possible to get this resolved quickly, which I now have.

Unfortunately, as you can read in my last post at the tenforums, I am not sure what fixed it.
