  1. Not discussing current Covid situation but my understanding is that short stays in Thailand like 3 months do not require medical insurance.

Second point is that some credit cards include travel insurance for at least a month.

Yes, its a game and we have to be inventive.

A big factor in the Misery Index is the unemployment rate.  Thailand's unemployment rate has for years been close to zero.  If you believe that then Thailand's misery is indeed low, but those numbers look suspect to me.

Yes, statistics like anything else is subject to manipulation.

  3. I always say--make it simple as you trying play lottery.

Start from soi6, Pattaya, gain experience. If you lucky chick will ask you if you wanna get

married tell her to write prenuptual agreement and see it satisfy your ideas.

Its probably better idea start from Malaysia as in Muslim religion you allowed to have 4 wifes.

  4. As you know there are bunch of countries on this planet and some doing better than others.

So where is Thailand fits in by misery index?

Surprisingly for me the most miserable country is Venezuela with inflation over 1000% and unknown unemployment

rate as over 4 million citizens plainly moved out. Viva socialism!

On other hand the least miserable county is Thailand beating everybody second year in a row.

And my favored country USA start chasing top spot dropping 25 spots facing Venezuela.

All of this you can find on such sites as Cato Institute, Visual capitalist etc.

    Have fun!
