Again and again. Would be easy to avoid  with the right management But calling for foreign help and experts happens only when the world is watching.

Very qualified secretary / assistant to GM with uni degree and good English 45 k / month. Extremely smart lady, 38 yrs old.

Would be very interesting to see how the income is generated, and, specially when it comes to the better earners, if they have a foreign expat contract or if they are employed locally and by whom.

Otherwise these statistics are not really helpful.

You don't see them out boozing, you don't see them out eating in restaurants, even on recent visits to Phuket they just seem to be chilling in the hotel 24/7.

 

It would be very interesting to see where their money is actually spent in Thailand. 

Latex shops, King Power outlets, Jewellery outlets. All shops off the track and visited almost only by Chinese groups in huge busses. 

All controlled business, where a normal business owner doesn't participate, if not part of the game.

What can be done to increase this number remarkably ?

Reducing the number of Chinese tourists and with that automatically the number of busses and incompetent drivers crossing the hill, would help a lot already, be much easier and give relief to many.
