Zero domestic transmissions is overwhelming proof that temperature checks and face masks really do make a difference...
Specially when the thermometer shows 32.3 degrees at Tesco, after checking me. I am no Pinguin ????

Just cancel the THB and substitute it with the Government's most liked currency: RMB.
Makes it easier for everybody, will happen anyhow in the mid future,

I was certainly never a fan of all the Chinese (Mainland) tourists but there are interesting numbers. Thailand had huge numbers of Chinese coming to the country. Philippines was the same except it also had huge numbers of Koreans. Both countries had low numbers of virus deaths. The US banned flights from China but the virus came in from Europe and the US has huge numbers.
It just shows that picking and choosing who gets in and who doesn't may not be straight forward.
What is your source for the USA having the Chinese Virus imported from Europe ?

Either they forgot someone on the pay roll or in fact, someone better connected takes over the business. This amount of money the BiB's won't let go.

Soi / stray dogs need to be taken off the roads. It's the villages headman / Village chief in charge's reponsibilty. But normallz they give a f*** about it. 2 of my friends got bitten by strays and needed shots. And to pay for them.

Actually it is not ppssible for Non Thai Nationals to travel on Government run busses throughout the country.
I called TAT 1672 yesterday and they confirmed that this is actually company policy. No further explanations have been given.
They recommended looking for a privately operated company for travel.

Those who are open usually may not switch on TV's as it may attract customers to come in and create groups. The owner of my favorite place told me so, and he keeps doors closed.

With all the restrictions, irrational laws and repression in place, I still feel more free than in my home country. Plus the weather, never need a warm coat, ride the bike 365 days a year. You need to compromise to appreciate

I've been riding a bike in Phuket and around Thailand for over 16 years and had only one accident. First days on the bike, I slipped on dirt at the side of the road while breaking.
A few simple rules I follow to survive:
- Keep away from the dust and <deleted> in the left lane
- Drive with the traffic and not through traffic
- Mirror, signal and manoeuvre
- Stay behind at distance. Do not drive side by side to other vehicles
- Be vigilant of cars turning in and out of roads. They will pull out without warning
- Don't Jump traffic lights
- Don't drive in the rain. Car drivers rarely adjust their speed or breaking distance in rain.
- Don't drive with your whole family as passengers.
- Stop trying to impress yourself with your bike skills. No one cares
- Most important - Be safer than safe
Agree. Riding 12 years in Thaland, 1 accident, have 4 bikes. Slipped once with a scooter coz of a dirty road at moderate speed. Has cost me 3 teeth, as I was wearing an open face helmet and some scratches...

It had been reported previously that she pawned her phone to pay the bike shop for the rental.
Fake news or just already forgotten by the BiB's ?

Just wish they all would be too broke to travel back to Thailand.
Isn't it much nicer now without them here ?

2 commie nations helping a notorious terror regime, with political views from the stone age.
And all 3 of them don't even know how to spell human rights. Where are the protesters marching now for rights ?

Dirty farang needed for helping to bail out a bankrupt airline.

Millions of unemplyed Thai people and a shortage of labor ? Doesn't match unless the now unemployed are unwilling or too lazy to do the (hard) labor, usually the foreign workers do. Wake up guys and girls, the fat times are gone, accept the job you have been offered. No work => no food. Provided that there is work offered.

All or nothing. WIthout the entertainment industry + Western tourists it's pretty usueless.
