Wanting to go on a holiday with the Thai gf to Oz for maybe a week or so. I'm an Oz citizen & passport holder. She's a Thai passport holder who has travelled to a South American country and a neighbouring country too. She is currently employed in her current job for a year already.
What type of documents are required and how long does it take to get a simple tourist visa and what type of fees are involved? Is it a complicated process? Obviously wouldn't want to book flight tickets until the visa gets accepted (if possible).

Do you have any blisters in your mouth?
Hand, foot and mouth disease is quite widespread in Thailand and can affect adults.
Had one of those white canker sores inside the mouth for nearly a week, but they come and go for many years already.

If you want to see a doctor ask for dermatologist.

Yes, could be maybe bed bugs or something that bite me I guess. Didn't wash the bedsheets in over a month so I just did it last night.

Yes must have been a comoplete horror for the guy sitting next to him. RIP to the old man.
This is Annabelle comes home, I'm planning to go watch it myself
Watching that trailer shows that the movie is not scary at all and doesn't look interesting. Problem with horror films are that there's none that are scary and only a handful of good ones, like the Saw film series for example.

Does anyone know what type of rashes these are and the cause of them? They've mainly appeared on my hands/fingers and top of the feet and upper leg. Also, do you have any recommendations for good doctors who specialise in rashes at Pattaya Memorial or Pattaya International hospitals or any others close by? What department of a hospital would you go to?
Don't know if it's related but I got hit very hard with flu-like symptoms a few days ago. A very bad headache, aches in joints, and a low-grade fever. Fully recovered from it now. The rashes started appearing around the time I had the flu-like symptoms. Also, there's pain on the sides of both thumbs next to the fingernails (one side of the fingernail) if I press them. They are all red in colour too. Same with a couple of other fingers. Also same with the inner side of both heels of the foot, but it's not red. A bit painful when walking with each step.

Dude, I know expats who are leaving. For real. And moving to Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, back to their home countries. I also know people who were planning to retire here but have had to change their plans. You're acting like it's a choice. For most of these people, it's not. They just can't satisfy the visa requirements (800K baht deposit, health insurance) so they are gone.
Bad guys out & good guys in, just like what Thailand wants.

I already have a car drivers license from my home country. If I wish to get a Thai drivers license here in Pattaya, what's needed to be done to get one? Also where do you go to get it and how much is it? I'm on a METV (tourist visa) & do want to get a Thai license too.
I've read here on another website:
You can use an International Driving Permit as a tourist, but if you’ve been in the country for 60 days or more then you are supposed to get a Thai driving license. Having a valid driving license from your home country will make the process of getting a Thai driving license go faster. With a valid license you won’t be required to take the theory or practical (driving) exams.

Clarify. Are you referring to tm30 or 90 day report not being done?
There are many many reports of tm30 not required at Jomtien. Those reports are regarding 12 month extensions where tm30 was not required. Same as CW prior to recent change of heart. Where CW are now requiring tm30.
TM30. The 1st time I did it when I arrived I asked the lady at the desk do I need to do it and she said "yes, every time you come back into Thailand you need to keep doing it". There are reports that if a TM30 isn't done, then they don't issue extensions. They ask you to do TM30 (then you have to pay a 1,600 baht fine too), they send you over to the TM30 room to do it.

Cite me one case of a person being fined multiple times, 5000 baht. Most I hear is 800 baht fines, some times an Expat and wife (owner) get fined 2000 each. I have been told NOT required and will go along with that until it changes.
UbonJoe and others have all mentioned about the number of people at Jomtien Immigration getting 1,600 baht fines. I saw with my own eyes people getting fined too who didn't do it.

Actually, who says that's not allowed? On a SETV or METV the remarks say "Employment Prohibited". Being a digital nomad, playing stock market, etc. is not employment.

I agree with some other posters, this is about people living here on tourist visa. To live here they want an extension of stay or non immigrant visa.
To get an "extension of stay" you first need to get a SETV or METV, enter Thailand, then within 60 days go to immigration to apply for "an extension of stay" and pay the 1,9090 baht fee.

It wouldn't hurt to have at least have a blank one. Immigration has refused to provide the form when asked for one.
Anyone here have multiple citizenships therefore multiple passports? Might be a good idea to alternate using each one for a METV. For example:
1st time - Use your home country's passport, go to the Thai embassy in your local city and get the METV visa in that passport. After 9 months go back to your home country.
2nd time - Now you're in your home country you use your 2nd passport from a 2nd citizenship/2nd country but go to the same Thai embassy in your local city and get a METV visa in the 2nd country's passport. Enter Thailand on that passport. After 9 months go back to your home country.
Then do that loop swapping between passports/visas continuously.
I just wonder, would immigration at the airport be able to put together that it's the same person entering on a different country's passport? Surely with the full name being the same in their system and on both passports it's highly likely their system will match it. If not by the name & birth dates then by the photos in their system. Or if their fingerprint scanners get up and running then by the fingerprints. What do you all think?

I'd suggest hitting up Walking Street and play it by ear. See what the guests fancy and take it from there. They could have a hell of a party on Walking Street.
Alternatively, book a table at iBar restaurant then when the guests are ready to get down and boogie just head next door and up the stairs to Insomnia and get the groove on ????

You have to wait until it is approved or disapproved.
It think if they were denying your entry for one of their dodby denials and you had the form/fee fee ready they might change their minds.
So it's a good idea to pre-fill in the form and have it in your carry on luggage just in case, and of course have 1,900 baht on you.

Yes there is a appeal allowed. You complete a TM11 form, pay the 1900 baht fee and they have to respond to it within 7 days.
So what happens during those 7 days? Stay in immigration detention until they respond?

I was there on that Friday afternoon around 2pm. Took me 7 mins from getting a queue number till getting my passport back with the extension of stay for a METV. I don't know if this is a fastest record ever in Thailand but it sure was for me. In BKK it's absolutely ridiculous having to wait the whole day even if you arrive there around 10am!

lol....he deserves to be named and shamed and have his picture up without his eyes obscured
No money to pay short overstay in airport - what will happen?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Who cares what will happen to him. Or if you have his phone number/email address then contact him and ask him the next day what happened to him.
