Student "sex creator" leaves luxury condo in a stinking mess
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Reminds me of a young graduate engineer I dropped in to pick up for work one day. He lived in a share house and it was appalling. Years later we were both working on the same site doing FI/FO and the cleaners refused to even enter his accommodation because it was such a filthy disaster. -
Southern oil palm farmers complain of falling prices

Ship the palm oil nuts to Germany. I'm sure that they would come in handy during winter. -
So why would Interpol be processing red notices for an illegal Junta in Myanmar that is not recognized by the UN? Something strange about this.

I was wondering if the new drainage piping needs some or more air release valves fitted. All of the water and air get dragged into the pipes and flow will be terrible if the air can't be released during the flow down to the out fall zone. Entrapped air seriously hinders water flow through a closed pipe if the pipe is full. Secondly, is the inlet to outlet of the concrete or steel pipe runs been surveyed to make sure there is a negative gradient all of the way to the out fall zone. Thirdly, instal trash screens that can trap trash and be cleaned, so that trash doesn't build up in the piping or concrete channels.

Typical Thai driving. Having said that the driving standards in Vietnam and Indonesia weren't /aren't any better. It is all about being aware of the other road users and driving according to those in your vicinity, rather than just driving to the legal road norms. Not that the ignorant rude drivers don't get me wound up. I get annoyed every time I get behind the wheel in Bangkok, even when I start my trips by telling myself not to get p i s s e d off. I won't ride a bike here even though I love motorbike riding because I don't have a relaxed enough attitude to the random driving. I would end up dead or maimed due to my own overblown sense of what should be right or wrong on the road.

Pattaya deputy mayor inspects often-ignored wheelchair lane
Aussieroaming replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
He inspected the disabled lane for what? To see if his Tyre marks were visible? Condo representatives aren't liable for law enforcement, that job falls to the lazy, incompetent, thieving RTP. -
What a joke, more ungoverned and unroadworthy vehicles on the road. These companies are never held accountable for the unroadworthy vehicles nor the unregulated drivers that operate under their brand name. When is the last time that Grab or Robinhood management inspected the vehicles being used under their brand name for defects....answer, never.

60-70% Of Thais Have Been Infected With Covid: Expert
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So the official figures were nonsense lowball figures as many people alluded to. The citizens were locked down, real infection rates ignored or hidden, the government spinning lies about how well Thailand has reacted to the pandemic in comparison to the rest of the world. Maybe Thais will finally relinquish the face mask ???? and get on with smiling. -
Bangkok: Five arrested following attack on 16 year old
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
If he knicked 340k of "laundry money" then he should consider himself lucky that all he copped thus far has been a flogging. I suspect he might end up in a coffin if he doesn't pay the principle and interest. This story hasn't reached the final chapter yet, 340k is a lot of money for some here and people are executed for far less sums of money.
