  1. Chuwit for acting PM.

    chuwit_zps02616105.jpg

    That's him on the right.

Everyone thinks he is a clown, and for his part, he has no time for any of the mainstream politicians, so nobody can be any more angry about his appointment than anyone else.

Plus, Spot would make a better deputy PM than Surapong.....

Thanks for point that out. All along I thought he was the one on the left.

  2. They would not dare make a single arrest.

They know what it would lead to, and they don't want that do they?

Go on Tarit... I dare ya.

Just more wind and piss, totally worthless news article, they already have warrants issued and they are too scared to go and carry those out.

    Don't ask me for proof.

Yes they are scared to bring out the iron boot.

You say you dare Tarit to bring it on.

You know full well that if Tarit 'brings it on' the gov't will be dissolved- either by military or judicial coup (use that 134 IQ you claim to have!)

and then the dogs of hell will be unleashed- Rightly or wrongly (who will care?)- the people who do support this government and (so far quietyly) oppose the fascists will come to fight.

    Is that what you want?

    An Eastern Sarajevo?

And you know- that nobody won SHIT in Bosnia!

Yingluck has offered time and again the olive branch- Suthep and his madmen have refused to grasp it.

They have stars in their eyes- blinded by hate and fantasies of utopian fairies that will usher Heaven on Earth.

    Reason has left the room.

And your post is evidence of that.

    Olive branch!!!

Looks like you fell for the tears whilst we see the smirk at the end.

She knows what to do - just exit politics and go and join your murderous brother and everyone will be happy with that outcome.

You lost the war and so you should surrender gracefully and depart the scene knowing that you tried your hardest and it did untold damage to the country economically and in completely dividing the people to such an extent that I doubt that this can be fixed now.

Not exactly a legacy to be proud of, is it!!

    Sudan and South Sudan.

    Thailand and South Thailand.

  3. If condidates cant get to their respective registration locations then make the Thai police and security forces do their job and secure these locations. Any attempts by the demonstrators to cross these lines should be met with whatever force is necessary to show these people that criminal activity will not be tolerated and if they partake in such activities then they must accept the consequences of their actions.

You have to be joking mate.

Now that would cause tens of thousands to go straight there and would turn into a mayhem of violence. You really thing YL and the EC want the world to watch that happening?

No matter how much force they put onto the protestors, they will never back down.

Your thinking is far too simplistic.

Really? Only back in 2010. When the army start sending in tanks, in the MORNING, killed a few reds shirt (PLUS the Italian journalist), the protesters almost immediately dispersed by NOON.

  4. Leave the poor girl alone she is one of the best assets the PTP have.

There is a lot of talk about the maniac Suthep from the many Thais that I know but this young lady is one of the main talking points and has really done a lot of damage and stirred up a lot of pots, long may she continue with her rhetoric.

We are talking of a potential 2nd Laidy PM of Thailand (while still united).

  5. I have a question. The full article stated that 35 parties registered, but only nine were qualified. Why were the overwhelming majority of registrants disqualified?

    Anyone?

It means 9 are fully registered as they managed to sneak in under the cover of Darkness.

The other 35 did not has not completed the process (as they did theirs at Din Daeng Police Station), but they have until Friday to complete the registration process.

  6. EC should officially move the registration venue to Udon or Chiang Mai.

At the same time, Yingluck should also declare that to be Thailand new capital.

If things don't calm down, on both sides, there may very well be two capitals.....of two different countries.

Just like Sudan & South Sudan?

If Thailand really split up, the North can join Laos, and the South can join Malaysia.

Win Win for Laos and Malaysia.

  7. Farang don't even have the right to vote.

So are you saying the foreigners in your country CAN vote.....?

If they become citizens , YES ! But how does one become a citizen of Thailand, its just about impossible.

Possible - I know of 4 expats that became Thai citizens.

Not that difficult. Learn how to read and write Thai. Mary a Thai and take her name. Be in Thailand for twenty years, pay your taxes over the past 20 years, no tourists visas between and you might have a good chance of becoming a Thai citizen. It's actually not that difficult. I can do it but I don't want to loose my German passport for international travel. If my government in Germany would allow dual citizenship I will apply right away.

Just don't tell your government in Germany.

  8. '6 Millions' Attended Anti-Govt Rally, Spokesman Insists

    By Khaosod Online

Bangkok: -- Spokesman of the anti-government protests has insisted that at least six million demonstrators were present at the rally in Bangkok on 22 December.

Mr. Ekkanat Prompan, spokesman of the People′s Committee for Absolute Democracy With the King As Head of State (PCAD), said in a press conference yesterday that the state authorities such as the Royal Thai Police and the National Security Council continued to "distort" the number of "the Great Mass of the People".

According to the police, a total of approximately 120,000 people were at the rallies, which took place at many key districts of Bangkok such as Victory Monument, Siam, Asoke Intersection, and Ratchadamnoen Avenue.

The protesters were demanding the formation of an unelected ′People′s Assembly′ to rule the country and bring out their desired "reforms".

Many foreign media agencies also place the number of 22 December demonstrators as "tens of thousands".

But Mr. Ekkanat told reporters that the PCAD has consulted Mr. Kwansuang Atibhodi, an expert in city planning and brother of a prominent anti-government critic, and reached the conclusion that 4.8 million people were present at the main stage on Ratchadamnoen Avenue, while another 1.2 million people were scattered throughout other rallies in Bangkok.

PCAD has previously claimed that millions of people attended their rallies in the past, and its supporters have criticised or even physically assaulted reporters who placed the number less than their projection.

According to official statistics, the total registered population of Bangkok stands at 6-8 million people.

    " physically assaulted reporters "?

I think they should print is as " physically assaulted LADIES reporters "

  9. "The commissioner said that shifting the venue site for registration was not difficult but the question was whether this would end or not."

Shift it to Udon or Chiang Mai.

Better still, register via Internet. Scan all your doc and upload it, just like Thousands of student register for their exams every year. This clearly is a reform.

  10. I am just going to cut and paste as I can't be bothered to keep retyping the same thing.

Some of you just don't get it do you....The problem is the square faced fugitive Thaksin. Suthep wants the Shin regime ended. If Thaksin and his sister, his other sister, his brother in law etc. are all still where they are now, then it is another rigged election they can't lose and what is the point ? Thaksin's brown nosers have been banned for electoral fraud 3 times in the past and the entire government is made up of Thaksin's cronies who have lied and cheated for years to be where they are and would continue to do so in order to further inflate their bank balances at the expense of the rest of the Thai people. When Thaksin and the rest of the cronies are out, then there is a slim chance there may be a possibility of getting a fair election result...It isn't that Suthep doesn't want an election at all - he wants an election to be fair and not rigged by the Shin gang. There can never be a fair election when the Shin's are involved as demonstrated by the 3 electoral fraud bans of recent years..

I think Suthep only want an election that he wins.

  11. "Yesterday, the protesters separately surrounded two TV reporters working from their mobile trucks and criticised them of reporting the wrong number of the protesters. The two denied that they had given any number."

Great. Noting mention about beating the women up.

Go google about the 2 women reporters yesterday "Penphan Leamluang" and "Varunee Suesatsakulchai"

A historic occasion for Thailand, the largest mass demonstration ever conducted in Thai history and virtually devoid of violence and damage to property and all you can focus on is a minor disturbance between some hotheads and a couple of journalists. An occurrence that was quickly resolved by organisers and strategies put in place so it wouldn't be repeated.

Compare this to the redshirt riots, where the reds were encouraged by their leaders to commit mass violence that resulted in the deaths of 90 people, injuries to thousands, biblical scale destruction of public and private property and disagreements with journalist that resulted in building being set alight and exits blocked by reds with journalists trapped inside.

Lets have Suthep & Co on the street for another two months and you will see that things will get more violently if he does not archive his goal. We are just in Month Number 1. give it another 4-6 weeks.

bs rhetoric mr. red. the only way it will really turn violent is if the government unleashes its red private militiia as it did at Ramkhamhang a few weeks back and we all know it....

Just a friendly reminder on statistics. In Ram, 4 Red died vs 1 yellow. Some shooters were caught await trial, and turn out to be 2 Ram Uni students.

  12. There probably were never any case documents to seize, these bank freezes were probably done as an offensive tactic against the protestors and not following proper procedures because they have no real law breach to attach to the paperwork.

It would ask for which official law has been broken, yet these laws are not official and are made up as they go along.

It was approved by the court.

Are you saying that the Thai judges are in Thaksin Payroll?

  13. On Sunday, Ms Yingluck told reporters that elections must take place, and urged protesters to express their views at the ballot box.
She said: "If we don't hold on to the democratic system, what should we hold on to?"
"If you don't accept this government, please accept the system," Ms Yingluck added.
    Her skin so thick.
Didn't she understand that the "People" don't want the current system which is "Created by Thaksin for Thaksin" to ensure Thaksin wins every time.
The "People" want to changeit to a 100% fair and 100% corruption free system thought up by the "People" as presented by our Supreme Secretary General Suthep.
This new system will select good clean fair people from ALL walks of life, including but not limited to: Professors, Doctors, Lawyer, CEO, Businessmen, Investors, Judges, Actors, Homemakers, etc.

Actually this is a good point. Only someone as corrupt as Suthep can determine who is corrupt. He won't select any of his corrupt associates and go out and interview the public to find good clean people that are so foreign to him. At least there will be no politicians in this group.

It takes Diamond to cut Diamond.

  14. "The reason behind the most recent attacks on female journalists was that the reporters were suspected of incorrectly reporting the crowd size"

I think the deduction is wrong. To be honest, I think reason behind the beating up of these female journalists was because they were weak and cannot fight back. See how many would dare to touch male journalist built like Arnold Schwarzenegger?

  15. To me Ms. Chitpas Bhirombhakdi, is like Anakin Skywalker (The Chosen One) who is now seduced by the dark side.

Suthep, aka Darth Sidious (Shadowy Sith Load) is Manipulating her hate for Thaksin Yoda (Grand Jedi Master) who seems to be able to move thing just by "Thinking from Dubai" (Thaksin Think, PT do slogan). Ms. Chitpas Bhirombhakdi is being turn to Darth Vader (Dark Loard of the Sith) by the society, especially the Farangs (Gungan) in ThaiVisa (Naboo)

The Sith view the dark side as good, demonstrating one of "People" observations that "most bad people think they are good people". Those following the dark side claim it allows an individual to gain the full powers of the Force that followers of the light side cannot attain. Suthep claims that Darth Plagueis had the power to create utopia by influencing the midi-chlorians and could save people from corruption but claims that Darth Plagueis is the only one who has achieved this power.

Although Ms. Chitpas Bhirombhakdi (aka Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader) may be seen by the Gungan of Naboo to be evil now. Only she, and she along eventually eradicated Suthep aka Darth Sidious; when she, according to Adam Smith law of diminishing returns, does not find the seduction (by the dark side) exciting anymore.
