  1. He keeps saying "follow the will of the people",,, well if he has "the will of the people" then go to the election and take government democratically,(legally)...

BUT HE DOSE NOT, that's why he wont go too the election, same as Mark.

I'd love to be reading soon that his assets will be seized , that would be just fine although late in coming.

THAKSIN = DIRTY ELECTION. What part of this don't you understand ??!!

POLITICIANS OF ALL PARTIES = DIRTY ELECTIONS! What part of this don't YOU understand.

In a recent interview, Korn, of the Dem party ADMITTED the Dem Party spent more than the PTP on votes, and STILL LOST, and also ADMITTED that "vote buying" really doesn't play a part in the elections, or determine the outcome.

Some of you on here act as if Thaksin "invented" vote buying, when the reality is, it was here and doing fine when Thaksin was nothing but a lustful gleam in his father's eye.

    No Thaksin = No corruption.

  2. Certainly an interesting development that the P.R.D.C. members felt confident enough to venture into what had been a ''no go area'' for anyone who opposed Thaksin in his home foxhole Chang Mai.

Perhaps the general feeling concerning the Thaksin clan is indeed more widespread and stronger than the Thaksin clan would like to think or even admit to.

Seems as if the violence came from the home turf crowd as opposed to the visitors who it would seem responded in like kind to their somewhat hostile treatment.

Certainly it would seem as if the actions of the Chang Mai Red Shirts seem to reinforce their somewhat distorted view on the democratic process as espoused by their absent ''amply rich'' Dubai based sponsor.'' '' Democracy is not my aim.''

Same same as Sek LoSo not welcomed in Phuket.

  3. Maybe. But a law is a law. Without Laws, then it´s the Wild West. Yes, Denmark has strict requirements concerning foreigners. This Is necessary. because too much junk comes into Denmark and the first thing they turn to, is the cash register where money is paid. Denmark has been too nice in the past. 10 years ago the strict Laws was made. I was to easy in the past. This strict Laws doesn´t make Denmark bad. Try to look at many other countries and see.

Law is a law only if you can enforce it.

  4. You have to admire their passion. If people in my home country would do the same each time the government screws them. It might put a bit more fear into the powers that be there.

    You are right.

  5. ...duh....who shot whom....any proof...footage...ballistics.....

....some people will go to any lengths to advance their cause....even 'sacrificing one of their own'......

...especially when they are apparently losing ground...losing the battle....

Really? Police shooting one of their own? And for which advantage then?

So in 2010, Suthep said the Red shoot Red could be possible. 555

  6. I cannot believe that any Farang from a democratic western nation would support the fascist protesters.

The Government has been democratically elected.... Let them govern.

Can you imagine all the wealthy people in the USA or UK rioting in the streets, shooting policemen and savagely assaulting taxi drivers because they dont like who the majority of the country had voted into power.

the attack was shameful, and very disappointing to see.

If anyone has details of where this taxi driver is, I would welcome a PM, as I would be willing to make a donation and support any costs of his medical care.

For what it is worth, I don't really place so much faith that this is any sort of majority view of the people protesting against the government (to beat up a single person) any more than a small minority of the red shirt mob who were in 2009 then again in 2010 "rioting in the streets, shooting people and assaulting various people because they didn't like who the majority the country had voted into power in 2007"

I really hope that people understand that this is not a black and white situation; that either you are against the rule of democracy, or you support the current government. Not only is it a nonsensical false dichotomy but it also ignores the very real grievances on BOTH sides.

I can only hope that cooler heads prevail, but given that there was no consequence for violence/trespass/etc in 2006,7,9,10, it seems like the current way of doing whatever it takes and then going back and fiddling the law/court process to ensure no consequence is proving a true dead end. I suppose arguably the precedent was set in the asset declaration interference case - lean on the courts to get what you want and ignore the rule of law.

This is why amnesty is always a crappy, crappy idea. Those responsible should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Donation to someone with a petrol bomb, trying to throw at peaceful protesters.

You really didn't see the other evident did you.

    The bottle of petrol.

  7. Thanks for posting it. Those red mob brainwashed supporters jumped the gun and declared the man dead. Nothing knew on the western front. Red mob style never changes. Lies, propaganda and more lies. Zero credibility.

A man was dragged from his car, and beaten half to death for wanting to go about his lawful business. The man's brain damaged maybe; severely traumatized certainly - but he's not dead. So that's alright then! The whole story was just blown up red propaganda........

    Will you listen to yourself......

The fact is that the taxi driver did not die.

He is alive and well, thanks god.

Unlike the other 2 death, one from each side (score 1:1)

  8. To all those one eyed who blame everything on someone else; shame on you ... for goodness sake a policeman lost his life doing his job, to suggest he was not shot by Suthep's "freedom" protesters is an insult to everyone's intelligence. Those same writers will try to tell us the taxi driver was not beaten and his car was not willfully destroyed by Suthep's "freedom" protesters. Sadly acts of anarchy are being seen in Bangkok. Please see the photo on Thai Visa and the video on khaosod; the links are below before you write denial letters. Do you really want to be governed by this rabble ?

Sorry to disappoint you, but this guy did not die.

He was slightly hurt, but now alive and well.

  9. "He said these guns were used with yellow-shirt protesters during the anti-government protests of former prime ministers Samak Sundaravej and Somchai Wongsawat. These guns were banned but now were brought to use with protesters."

Oh Suthep forgot he use much more violent weapons against the red in 2010...

This mad dog needs to stop being completly lunatic.

He s opposed to elections, he ask his thugs to forbid the entrance for the registration...well he deserves to rot in jail and the quicker the better.

He just want more mayhem in bangkok

  10. We can achieve a utopia if the country is run by the "People" and not "politician" or "junta".

Coup will give you a Junta government.

Election will give you a "Politician" government.

Only a revolution from the "People" by the "People" will deliver you a "People" government run by the "People" for the "People".

PS, anyone wee my little red book? I must have drop it at the Thai Japanese stadium yesterday.

  11. Silent? Don't think so.

Silent as in absent from the noise of tanks rolling the sois of Bangkok:

"In fact, Suthep has called for a “people’s council,” comprised of 400 unbiased representatives. The council would replace the Senate after the upper house nominates a new leader to be appointed by the King, thus obviating the need for elections in the near future. Wassana Nanuam, the military-affairs correspondent of the English-language daily Bangkok Post, has described the move as a “silent” coup d’état: no tanks in the streets.

Election caused vote buying and can never be unbiased.

Only the "People Council" can deliver 400 unbiased representatives, as is is selected from the Real Thai people (not politician).

  12. The government clings on to power? You can form your own view. Most intelligent people can see what is going on.

Same same, Mark clinking to power when order the use of live bullet to disperses the protesters that caused 90+ death. You can form your own view. Most intelligent people can see what is going on.

twisting History doesn't make your comment true! It is well known that Abhisit offered elections in 2010. It was the red Shirts who refused this offer. They had every intention of staying to burn Bangkok unless parliament was dissolved.

The reds would have left in a flash if Abihist said in 2010 we stay in government but Thaksin gets amnesty and his money back.

Yingluck can say what she likes but the next Thaksin government will be the same as the last 3 all about a Thaksin amnesty and his return to rule.

    Please don't twist history.

Then: Abhisit offered to dissolved the house on condition that . . . . .

Now: Yingluck ALREADY dissolved the house.
