Why would you have to think about canceling the license of the Owner/Operator. It should

be canceled immediately and on any other boat they operate until they can assure the

authorities their boats are safe and operators are licensed and certified to operate

"sea worthy" boats. They could have killed 200 people...................

So much misinformation and just wrong information in many of these

posts you wonder if people even know what they are talking about.

It costs 30B EACH WAY on these ferries, not 60B EACH WAY, it

takes at least 40 minutes to get to Koh Larn not 20 minutes. If you

don't know what you are talking about, keep your "thoughts" to

yourself....I travel to Koh Larn twice a week !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope the guy

that posted the video will get his facts correct.

Am I missing something? I have had the same checking account in the same bank in the States

for the past 25 years. My Social Security and two other pension checks are directly deposited each

month. It is on the PLUS system, each month I withdraw 60K baht, costs me $10 each month. Why

all the BKK and other Banks??? ( I have done this for the past 4 years in Thailand ($120/year)

Drove past the market area yesterday and saw a truck"booted" Double parked and

If you do all the paperwork at the Outreach Program, sponsored by the Embassy, Like I

did in Sept, and you choose to pick up your passport in person, the email you receive

from the Embassy tells you no appt is necessary to pick up your new Passport. This was

the case for me, I was in and out in about 15 minutes......Just FYI.....Don't forget to check

the top of the new application form tha6\t you want 56 or 57 pp in your new passport instead

of the usual 20 something....no additional charge for the extra pages when you renew.

Watch the Outreach Programs. The Embassy Staff was in Pattaya in Sept. I did all

the paper work, paid and received an email my passport was ready. They will even

mail it back to you, however I opted to pick mine up in person. No appt was necessary,

really good service from the Embassy...............

I eat at the Food Court about twice a week. Thai food. inexpensive and good portions.

Never had stomach problems.

Off the subject; however, I was at the Food Court at Tesco, watched the food inspector,he

really did a good job. Went to each stall, made them clean some things, remove others

and I was impressed. Never been sick from eating at Tesco next to Outlet Mall.
