Appears to be an honest official attempting to clean up part of Thailand.

An all out effort should be made IMMEDIATELY to find the responsible

party for this bombing.. A quick trial for the attacker, if found guilty they

should be given the DEATH PENALTY AND IT SHOULD BE CARRIED

OUT WITHIN A WEEK.....LET'S SET A GOOD AND HARD EXAMPLE.

RIP....Another probably avoidable loss of life. There really needs to be a law that

holds the OWNERS of the BUS SERVICE as well as the OWNERS OF THE MINIVAN

COMPANIES both Crimminaly and Civilaly Liable for the ACTIONS OF THEIR DRIVERS

AND EMPLOYEES.........The Owners and Executives of these Companies need to do some

hard jail time. Than and only than, will the drivers be given enough rest and told not to

speed instead to "go like hell" to get another "run in" to make a few hundred more baht

each day.

You will lose a few months. My passport was due in March of 2014, no more pages left, so I

opted for a new passport at $110 instead of $82 for additional pages. I lost 5 months, but

I'm good for 10 years, You usually need at least 6 months on your passport for Visas to

some countries, so no real loss...........

Starbucks Name and quality of coffee, He would have a sign in Yellow and Orange

and not attempt to copy an International Brand. I usually support the "little guy";

We took the mini van from Pattaya Klang. A little scary but driver really knew

how to get around BKK traffic. It leaves at 7AM daily, took up 31/2 hours to

get to Hua Hin and bout 41/2 hours on the return due to BKK traffic. You can

leave your motorbike at the minivan office, inside for 30B per day.

You are putting a lot of money into a LEGAL LOOPHOLE that can be plugged at anytime. I would think

twice before investing into something that might be taken away from you. Some grumbling now about

50%+ of the resort properties owned by non-Thais., through these loopholes. I would buy into a comples

that has property in foreigh names available, the 49% quota. If you have to set up a "sham company" to

acquire a condo, something can go wrong. It's an attempt to skirt the laws. The Government can close

these loopholes at will.....Than what happens ????? I worked to hard to gamble with 1.5-3 Million Baht.

I say better safe than sorry. This may not happen, or may not happen for years, but if it does, wait unitl

you hear all those that attempted to circumvent, "skirt" the laws cry like babies.................

This is reall inexpensive. Try to apply for a long stay visa in France, You must prove you

have 30,000 Euros. in Insurance (medical) paid in advance with a letter from the Insurance

Company befoe they will give you a long stay visa.....At 55-60 y/o Insurance is very expensive.

Not true. All U S hospitals will admit you to the ER of their facility.

They may transfer you to a county hospital once you are stable, but they

are required under the law to provide treatment with or

insurance or money, even if you are not a US Citizen

You say she is 8 y/o. Old enough for you and her to have a talk

and tell her if she decides to go anywhere other than where she

is supposed to be ....she is to call you immediately; not for

permission to go with a relative, but for you to know where she

is....if this happens again she is grounded for a couple of days,

at 8 y/o she should be responsible enough to inform you.

Not just the ATM to be careful with. In the States,most of the credit

cards: MC,V,AX,Debit are all WiFi set. These are the cards you just

tap on the machine to charge, no pin or number necessary to verify the

charge...all done by WiFi and chip in card. You MUST keep these cards

in a protected part of your wallet or purse. I keep mine in a plastic

holder wrapped in aluminum foil. These East Block SCUMBAGA and OTHER

crooks have a device that can "read" your number and pin in your wallet

or purse if not protected. I read about this in "Time" two years ago, I

have protected my cards ever since....So far, so good !!!

These cards are very popular with fast food restaurants in the States, they

only take two seconds to verify the charge. These Scumbags can "read"

your information standind next to you in the mall.!!!
