Yep if I was still living Melbourne id going to watch the Bullants.....it's been a looooong winter... -
Car washes are everywhere, just open google maps and type in car wash, you will fall over from the choices.

I get a flare up once in a while for me its the mangos, I love mangos, but they dont like me, its normally fractious from certain fruits for me or in bakery items, use to be way worse for me back home. Spicy food wont give you Diverticulitis but it might upset more if you have it, my go to during an attack is simple basic food like rice/risotto plain, bread/simple pizza and soft drinks.

Well some the of the better places in a bigger city take Apple Pay and im guessing Android Pay, a few of the places we ate at and my hotel took it. They happily take US cash and Thai Baht, and give you change in there currency, (strange how they collect it but wont return it) with a poorer exchange rate, when doing the maths.

https://www.nine.com.au/sport/afl/news-2025-carlton-blues-graffiti-vandalism-club-police-investigation-sack-michael-voss-coach-20250627-p5mapp.html Now why didnt we trash the MFC offices during the dark days? -
Theres a fix for that like placing a length of sheet steel thats wide and has an angle folded down say at 45 degrees onto it that sits on a batten directly below the tile, can be screwed directly on to the battern that would stop the wind and power of the rain forcing the water back under the tile, then as you replace tile over this well crude flashing you can bed in with normal mortar, in AU they use normal morta/cement same as a brike layer for beding in a tile on a roof.

My partner was insistent on turquoise, a light blue, the pools at her developments are this colour, very nice I think, turns out to get this colour you use concrete coloured tiles, we bought a stone tile there a bit on the expensive side, while the tiler who is laying as I type I noticed you could hardly tell the difference between the tiles he's laying and the pre rendered concrete walls, to get an idea of colour im sure your pool has got water in it like mine, thats the colour, a light blue, looks awesome ....

Ahh the 6 million dollar question, we do 75mm for paving and 100mm for driveway in AU, you can bet that 600b is meant for 75mm, but I dont know so im guessing since there been haphazard on my build that its likely going to vary becasue they cant follow a straight line.. Use the 600 as a starting point if drive way you'd want 100mm.
-
Hard to say with out a picture, normally an extension the new roof is not attached to the old roof there for you need to have flashing placed between the roof and the wall., its very common here for hick builders to not flash off.
-
If its paving my builder quote me 600b a sq m, if its load bearing then its going to cost more.
-
You will need to put an ear wax solution in for a few days before hand if you want a proper clean out, it will help soften the wax, this I use to do back in AU before visiting a doctor, here I do it myself, the pharmacy's here do sell an instrument designed for squirting warm water into the ear.

Jamarra is back in the fold and Lance Franklin claims to be stunned by "crazy" 1.4M deal for Demons star, that made me laugh over my coffee this morning....sorry Lance, where/are you the only one worth a mill or two? Me I think long contracts are absolutely ridiculous, at any club, we are already paying the price of having a few mill tied up in two contracts for the next 4 ys running around the MCG looking like half skinned bananas... To Uncle Will.....Matty Lloyd and a half the MCG supporters are calling for regime change at the Dee's, so what's a guru like yourself see that I dont? Is it the Ange Postecoglu effect? Is finishing a few wins above the bottom 4 last 2 seasons not going to save Simon? Like I wouldn't like the idea off Goodwin going into the final season of his contract basically a sitting duck for the media to be picking him off one loss at a time, he could of course do a Beverage get the new deal before slipping again, though I think this is the precedent set, or since we have been a slow moving target for the media to heep poo on the last 5 ys extend till end of 27. -

Well here we are so what is it? 1.2 or 1.4 or 1.9m for 9 years or 5 ys or forever? Ho but he was/is homesick the last 2 or 3 seasons, then Damien McCartney says Freo have a week to make a counter offer, then adds "BUT" lack of salary head room...so what is it? how do you land top talents with a VFL budget? Honestly these guys feed the moronic public with s.h.i.t. and mind you plenty enough out there swallowing the saga like a hungry dog that swallowed my sausage off the BBQ last night... "Amid battles of homesickness, Pickett returns too career best form" and this is the Age news paper mind you, when earlier in the year asked about text messages to Freo players, "text like friends" ......."ive got friends, im allowed to talk to them, I guess. Im contracted to Melbourne. Im having fun there, and love it at the club" he added meaning there my mates, but hey, why believe he has friends outside of the MFC....in fact why not believe what's coming out of his mouth? Kysaiah has turned it up a few notches, of course he's over the moon, and playing like it, was reported yesterday 1.9 over 9 years, I nearly coughed all over uncle wills weeties over the sum, but hey what do I know? No wonder Jackson is restless and dropped the remark about returning to the Demons, he's draft buddy will be earning close to1m more than him next season....Now Jackson my look and sound like an egg but he knows how to count, so now we got a few months to find out if Freo will rejig Jacksons remuneration. Meanwhile the press have fallen quite on culture, in fighting, on Simon, its a wonder they haven't turned up the heat over the May snipe at his Captain for a s.h.i.t kick right to a Pie player with 30 sec0nds togo... I use to buy the Age, bit of a read at morning tea, longer read at lunch then at least a 20 to 30 min read after dinner, these days I can read 3 news papers in 15 min... -

All you need to do is follow Melbourne if winning is kicking behinds........................................................I recommended to Simon in an email last night that the club lash out and buy the players new real leather in mid green coloured footy boots by Asics, mid green because it wont distract the eye when taking a kick and Asics are well known for supplying wider foot footwear, it would seem some of the players prefer style over comfort there at Casey.... -

We are taking it one game at a time there Fj, maybe in a month or two I will be asking Uncle Will if he still thinks Simon will be leaving soon. I feel your pain, signs are there, wont be long before you turn the corner. -
Concrete flat roof insulation from inside - ideas?
AlexRRR replied to 3MagicBeers's topic in DIY Forum
Normally here they do a drop ceiling which is made of metal which can be any depth depending on the concrete roof height and plaster ceiling height you want. As for downlighting under the insulation good luck with that, you can grin and bear it or do what im doing, ive phoned Phillips in BKK and they where useless, the English speaking service didnt know anything, asked for my phone number and said tech support would call which they never did a week later they emailed me a survey to fill out and I reminded them of there crap service which once again has not led to anything. There are rated downright for sitting under insulation, no one in this country (Thailand) has a clue, even went to a shop that 90% of there business is providing lighting to the trades, boss man when asked, ho ive heard about them, then a blank...Home Pro and every other place I went did not have a clue, so you could take a risk as the battens will hold the insulation up at least 2cm so you would need those slim types and must be fully sealed with the what ever its called attached and not inside (the wiring gizmo) or as one person here suggested pot plant holders over the lights this would give plenty or air around the light, thats fine if you are just doing a few lights but im doing an entire house, near me and im in Pattaya is a lighting shop who have the Led slim line dome lights that fit simlar to downlights they have spring loaded clips that fit into a downlight hole about 2cm think and curved edges, unlike the ones ive seen at the HP etc they are much better looking similar size too a downlighting and thats what im going to go with. -
Tourism Thailand Vows to End Dual Pricing Amid Growing Tourist Backlash
AlexRRR replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News

You cant have been here too long to not know every little office in the country makes up its own rules as it goes along not to mention the Wim of who ever your talking as mood can change moment to moment. -

Gees Fj where did you find Tarryn Thomas? just read he's been arrested and charged on summons alleged caught in possession of drugs over the weekend.... But wait theres more, parked in a "no standing zone" in his " Lamborghini", attracted the eyes of a roving police car...Police found drugs and deal bags....so im guessing he's moved on to pushing the stuff....honestly what a screw ball....you know Tony Mokbel had a Lambo too, use to see it and a few of his mates parked in Lygon street back in the day...but gees they parked them legally, actually one time I was having dinner on the side walk and im guessing it was his Ferrari it was parked right next to me, if I had of known who Mokbel was in those days I would have moved a few tables down to make sure I didnt scratch it.... So how do you know someone's got no brains? (or in layman's terms s.h.i.t. for brains) beats up a woman then goes to court then does it again all while being counciled by your footy club thats paying you a fortune and trying to keep you clean, then....then becomes Steppenwolfs The Pusher man (great song I have to say) so lets not worry to much (untouchable) as he's still got his head in the clouds as an AFL well ex AFL star and park my RED Lambo, its just a Lambo, see them every few min wizzing down the streets and I bet it was in a main street too, parks it in a no standing zone , it just screams Look at me look at me look at me....... dick head, what a dick head...pretty sure officer Chooks if still on the beat would have had a closer inspection too....I bet you use to love those guys officer, saved you hours of investigation times, they just stick up a poster that say "over here coppers".......wonder what the real deal was several weeks back when held at gunpoint maybe he was reneging on dealing his North footy jumper that may have been included in the car deal... Earlier this year, the AFL said Thomas was eligible for a state-league return after showing a “consistent change in his behaviour” and completing an education and behavioural change program. That makes me laugh....imagine the culture at North if he was still there... Pentridge Jail is now a housing development, it was a cold testament to 1800s Melbourne, Tarrant will be spending time at Ravenhall...think its called, tin sheds, soul less as well.... And Tarrent makes Ricky Nixon look normal... -

Voting G Voting greens ummm when have they ever had a complete set of plans for the country from local to foreign affairs? Often over payed managers and do goodies who never had to worry about where the next dollar comes from, but having said that them other two lost the plot years ago, im known as a swinging voter, early on Labour early John Howard Liberal, once they knifed Malcom nobody, I have a social justice streak which makes me wither in pain at times, my dad told me a long time ago that a strong opposition was good for the country but the country runs better under The libs, and I have to say thats how its panned from where ive been sitting, but lets face it the entire world is has lost the plot, all sorts of crack pots in power all over the globe, and they have this idea of lowering taxes will ignite the world economy when in fact it should be going the other way like knuckling down on corporations and the wealthy...
