Time you updated to a apple or android smart phone built after 2018 sir...them old nokia's are a relic....and yes i seen one recently, the thai chap installing a couple of screen doors for me was still using one....maybe a 2010 vintage....with how he was screwing me price wise im sure all his kids and wife were spouting 14 max pros.... I have a Iphone 10R or better known as an XR a big mover and shaker when it came out.....i could donate to you, though one of my thai friends has her eyes on it......you know thai women and iPhones...it opens all sorts of doors... No sir Demons haven't been slouches in luring some talent there way, Jeff White from Freo about well a long time ago...he was a superstar after Jimmy, couple of pies back when colour tv came in one was Moore son is now a defender @ the pies and won a brownlow with both clubs, Fabulous Phil....who could forget him, at the time around 2008 a big burly CHF forget his name now from the pies who ended up in sick bay for his 3 year contract, but was the number one FA or what ever it was at the time.....that other pie who was you know pushing an agenda and still over racism and still waiting to hear about his time at the dees..was a classy half back that Bucks peed off...and of course Templeton...though was over and done by the time he turned up but we did get two magical games out of him... Recent additions Rip have been Grundy, May, Leaver, Jordan Lewis, Melksham, Hibberd. Going back and maybe before your time....andrew leoncelli from the blues....classy mid, nettlebeck from north who was always at the bottom of a pack, Luke beverage and al clarko clarkson, both from somewhere else fringe players bottom of the pack types that won 5 flags between them as coaches sir...steven icke, thank you North....very good CHB who played 6 seasons for us....shane Zanuck thank you north, very worthy ground player, who could forget him telling Ron where too go at 3/4 time one day at the G didnt need no sound to know what he was saying, left Ron speechless....mark jackson from Tigers....well he was a show on his own, couldnt run but had sticky fingers, made a decent career at full forward...vinny cattoggio, one of the mozzie blues fleet footed fellas....afro hair style throw back to sly stone and the 60;s, fan fav buzzing around the packs rover...and brent crosswall, dirt <deleted> he was, also would argue with Ron, yes a few came over from North a year or two before big Ron took over....didnt help of course..gary baker from the scrays, was a leading ruck there for a time with us.... Apart from say clarko and bev the others were all well regarded there Rip and the host of North players coming over had played in 6GFs in a row sir...so its like getting in Dangerfield when he was like 29 etc etc....no Dees been ok at getting in talent, we didnt need to go after the big superstars as we made a few just the second rung was <deleted> sir...like you stole mercenary healy from us....our best player at the time.... -

Gays mate all of them....mums boys...and stuff like that.....i recon there got at of course and and use the home sick blues as an excuse to run home to mama.... Of course it helps when Freo double Jackos salary and offer him twice the term, look if there home town club couldnt fit them in they would play anywhere, so i think the stars are going to cry tears to get home the rest will sweat it out where ever they land...Anyway i think taking a hot WA prospect turning him into something better then sending him back home 2 years later for 2 firsts and a second is pretty good compo, and hopefully hurt Fro to the point that it will curtail future recruiting either by draft or trade... Think the NFL rookie contracts are for 4 ys, hate the yanks for there politics but they seem together things like this right...Gill should follow suite.....of course theres 2 million and 2 clauses for them to make the cut too... Free Agency isnt going away, and really it helps level the playing field, clubs want ya or they dont, loyalty is pretty much gone, not much point banging on about it just embrace the current year then expect half the team to be gone the following as in other professional codes.. Shock horror over Ratten, says a lot for a club when they extend and 4 months later make the mucho mula payout, Chooks would be rolling around the floor off the bottle shop there in Fitzroy, like i did say there recruiting several years back only landed one credible player in Hill....the rest were dunnie paper to fill the roll....and Bombers, with a bit of luck they will wallow in the doldrums a little longer, if they start making the 8 them supporters are going to be hard to silence... -

Gees it’s quite in here, stuck in sin city to speed up the workers didn’t think I’d end up down here so long, leaving the lappie back in the big city the iPad had saved the old password, as you know this forum now thinks itself of a some what cross betteeen the CIA and former KGB with the passwords to log in, decided that I missed you all so during a lull in the work decided to it was time for a new alter ego to appear so you know the old story us oldies have trouble with tech and wow behold the old me turns up on the phone… so here we are but may turn up any day now as Alexis….. Jackson is gone 2 first rounders and a second so that’s like a first round pick, good deal hope he turns into another Hogan…. Hunt gone, heard an interview he had recently, but full of himself but hey he’s been played out of position and looks like Simmo will play him up the ground in an attracting spot sounds like the wing to me…. Little Tony heads off to the Giants…Eagles do alright out of cousin ravioli, Noff too, that’s what ya want multiply first round picks for wanna way Sheila’s, then two might be playing fir the women’s team before to long. The biggest news of trade week is the Weed looks like he is Brad Scott bound, well we arnt going to play him…25 100 cm tall and about to make his mark…. Shame on you Simone. ahhh it’s beautiful on my long and wide balcony to night men, I have moved in just missing a few things like both bathroom vanity tops basins and taps, but us peasants can use the dunnie and shower and hey they did connect the kitchen sink, what ever you do don’t start me up on the workmanship that’s why I’m camped here to wip them into shape… I can see the weagles are positioning them selves perrrrrrrrfectly, Fj should be all smiles too picking up some half decent talent, big question are Freo shooting them selves in the foot? Like Tigers won 3 flags with just a trier fir ruckman, Swans made the GF with a dud ruckman only Freo and Demons think they need two classy ones in the team at the same time… Nahhh Rip contracts mean nothing these days mate 3 days to go Demons will land Mills… you read it here first…: -

hahah i said dont get excited, Jaden is not a free agent we can match what ever is offered to him, Demons do think highly off him, of course if the Eagles put a high offer in id say we wouldnt match it, so there you go.... Im looking at the leaderboard now....2 Petracca got there by reputation, Viney had the best preseason in eons they said id rate him around 10th....Picket must have picked up most of his votes the last 3rd of the year, Sparrow.....only because he was on the ball a lot...and thats my point....mids were spraying it...love him still young but not 9th, Neal-Bullen did have a good year, Jordan was a bit of a dud in my opinion and to be in the top 13 im spitting my beer out... My rating and i do watch every game is Oliver Brayshaw May Langden Gawn Petty Leaver Harmes Neal-Bullen Petracca Viney Fritsch Hunt Pickett Jackson Getting the ball you need to do something with it...Hunt i rated around 13th in the team that finished 2d so there you go even 19th in a team that finished 2cd is still an achievement... Id say Eagles will need to trade for Hunt unless you offer him a big contract as im sure we will match anything reasonable....not in the bag...... Brad Scott coached with one arm tied behinds back there Fj, i recon he will do well at the Bombers, there a destination club, Hird? ummm.....wont senior coach a gain....i thought he was a front runner .... Sheedy....well.....he coached so long cause he cut players that would cause him issues....they turned over a lot while he was there....i recall thinking gees they get a lot of new players coming in.....he had is core 5 or so and had them on side, thats one of the reasons he lasted so long... -

Trade week opens and right away the press are onto Hunt and Eagles......dont get excited Will, Hunt is a good player pretty sure unless you offer an unreal contract Demons will match it, they haven't got a contract offer on the table yet and id say there looking to see who's interested in him and maybe what they could get for him, or what they have too match or do better to keep him, like hes worth wouldnt be easy to hit on the head as hes one of those types of players who could be worth tons to one and peanuts to someone else, and like i said there got options in the rear half of the ground but at the same time Simone rates him.....i rate him too.... Goofy isnt going anywhere, so watch the Truth newspaper for his cardinal sins to appear on the front page, they my resurrect the old trashy news sheet just for him.... -

Just seen...Hunt on Eagles radar.....well im pretty sure the ex Essendon duo of Melksham and Hibbered will get a new deal.....well offered a new deal, and i think Hunt will get offered a deal too.....i cant see them hanging on to Oscar Baker you can have him, but....we do need to freshen up the list... Not the end of the world if any of the trio depart but if any Hunt is the likely one, he is way more easily covered than the other two. Anyway im all for moving a few on you see what happens when you hang on to some players to long... -

Tom has 6 months to sort it out......no hurry ron.....Casey won the flag dropping one game all year...so im expecting to see some new blood next season..... Weed.....i recon he is looking around, another crucifixion here, you just got to play blokes like him and if you need to carry him you carry him, he would be just as useful as some of the other freeloaders in the team we had this year.... My post this morning is a stir im killing time before i head out......in between coffees the the system isnt functioning to good....i could have done better but thats my excuse..... Eagles always bounce back.....Tigers are doomed....loading up on FA, so far im happy the way the dreadful dees have used FA or traded for a particular position and relied on fresh young blood....so far.....the cupboard is chock a lotto full why we need Grundy is a mystery to me.....you know....id be running the weed next year...tell him its make or break...yeah yeah i know...you dont give up on a 200cm guy to easy.... -

Well the hot gossip this morning is DeGoofy could go west....to clear the air so to speak....so where to land? We all know Freo trying to land Jacko boy so is light on for draft capital....but....the blue and gold team.....with an ageing midfield and gold plated Kelly........could it be on? Whispers in harbour town that there willing to add another 30+ brownlow medalist to the squad, its all hush hush but the talk all year is he needs to get out of the fishbowl.... Port? yes there looking at the Weed......to go by the way of Jack.......well big Tom is back and they have faith in Ben and then theres going to be Grundy and Gawn hanging in the forward 50 most of the game as well....... Bedford the little sprinter who made a name as a sub this season, isnt going to North.....Clarkson is on the nose for the brothers... Tomlinson will be persuaded to cross the city, and since he is of Euro decent we can guess that one of the blue and white teams severally lacking in experience will cough up a 4th round pick for him... Its all good fun....... -

Guru Will...has gone a little backwards, is in my opinion played out of position....Goodwin has done a Jesus Christ on the fella....first half back then half forward, then back in the back line, yes you like to get your guys to play a few positions, my take is he is a natural winger...Has pace is a racking long kick on the run and can kick goals, hes a fair tackler but not defender class in my opinion.... The dicked around with first with Brashaw (which worked) then Jordan this year.......(which was sort of ok) its just crying out to stick Hunt there.....and i will shoot an email off tomorrow to Simone...make sure hes got the word... -

Judging from whats written today 2 of the 3 are or were regular senior players or played enough games to say they were, Jordan Lewis says they didnt hear of any of this during those times, Fagan as far as i know hasn't said a word and Clarkson flatly says its not true as far has his involvement in it. Normally as is a case like this the press turn it around and make a sensation out of it, drop hints no names insinuate etc.....Cousin Will the guru of the football thread is right to say lets wait till the smoke clears and see what comes out.... It would be typical of the press if its found that Fagan and Clarkson had no involvement in this, i for one wont be reading to much on this subject untill the AFL bring out there findings. Footnote, the other week ex Demon Jarrha was reported in the press facing charges for an attack on someone...so you know the press help perpetuate a sort of image of first nation people, like no back ground, and really if some no hope white drunk in Alice Springs attacked someone it wouldnt make the news.... -

The fuss is Tony Bedford the koorie runner and any other native Australian wont be going to North fella....or Brisbane.... By the way not whispers, its the real brown stuff in a plastic bag...out there in the middle of now where you are watching the mice eat the rice and not much else to do, no FM radio and a wind up electrical power plant you peddle to get it to power up im not surprised you behind.... Gees with all the "healing" thats been going on the last few years and oh im not mentioning Sth Africa here....no we dont mention Sth Africa, this is a double barrel shoot gun with with both triggers pulled aimed at the temple....good time to now go under ground and come out around march 18 2023.... -

Season is almost over nothing to look forward to untill trade fortnight........need to spice up the forum.... By the way if you seen Gill's press conference he and his off sider were more than glum and over apologetic, yes yes when your hurt it seems like its the end of the world....but you can make a lot of poo stick too... By the time it drags out its almost start of the season again and the public has a short memory and and and...were still rolling our eyes over the ex Pie and Dee and im still not sure what he was upset about......didnt hurt Buckley's career in the media....only if you drop a bag of crushed up panadol at a casino will you get rubbed out....from the media that is.....like he did say get it tested so its trail by bad reputation.....so Clarko and Fagen as clear then right? Demon Toby Bedford the little Koorie runner who spent half the season on the sub bench is being eyed off by North....so that killed that trade move... -

Be positive............Lets not take anything away from Collingwood...like thats 18 solid players on the ground.....a young team without any real stars. Cats are destined to loose one soon....there been on a winning run for too long...not natural...... Swans more than good enough to pull it off.....and Cats play like the Pies..in spurts all you go too do is stifle a couple of spurs and the Doc and scraggy mrs will be happy... Nooooooo sir its not in the bag at all.......and im tipping the Swans, you need to read up on the Law off Attraction Rip....the mind can Will it.... -

IDC, its all bullocks to me....no loyalty in it anymore.....and should there be?.....just watch if Oliver or one of the others drops off and see what happens..... I use to watch in amusement back when i was a young 30s something, how everybody wanted a new job to earn more money, a new car and a new house or a period home....all looking to "improve" there lot but expected there football team to be stuck in 1952..... And the press....i defiantly got jaded over the press the last 25 ys, its the main reason i dont watch tv news i only read the news so i can skip over the bullocks....the imagination of guys who are led by an editor who need a story etc.... Anyway so far the AFL free agency, contract system and salary cap has keep a somewhat lid on it which keeps it sane....NFL dumps 20 plus players a year from a team, think there FA is just 5 ys, granted they have a lot more fringe players in the team think its a roster of about 55, soccer well....they could change up to half the team and there just on contracts. IDC where Jackson ends up and and IDC what we get for him really.....the better clubs like the Cats and Pies and Eagles dont stay down for long always able to get a decent list on the park and there doing it from high ladder positions.... -

Rhalps said Egg and family went too Eagles games..... Anyway lets not allow Eggs and Willy to move...how dare them after all that the clubs have done for them...never mind that clubs move players when they want ...hey it cant go the other way...no its Putins law....its my way only even when your getting done like a dinner.... Look just help us out here so we can really screw the Dockers over...squeeze all the draft capital out of them for the next 3 ys.....Actually i like to squeeze the Crows after the Lever deal..... Me i dont think paying to much for anyone is a winner in the long run....Abblet to the Suns....was pure marketing only....same as Franklin to the Swans....no flags came of it....Tippert? recall him?? two million dollar boys running around together.....nothing came of it....before you mention leave it to Leaver he might have been a bit of a big deal at the time but no Abblet of Franklin mr...and yes 2 first rounders for a defender was too much..but we will get the Crows back one day..... Pies do a clean out of some expensive players, low ball Goofy and happy to see Grundy who hasn't done much since he signed his 7 million $$$$$$$ deal....nor played much i might add.....and look there in the prelim....say no more..... Anyway your man Rohan O'Brien says were not gun shy in regards to Egg...even claims pick 2 is not up for grabs.......but you could turn pick 2 and 20 into 2 first round picks and a late 2cd or a couple of 3rds....think about it.....and you could toss in Kelly.....i like Yeo....well i did once....anyone else left i might like? Just make Freo dance a bit faster is all im asking....that will doooooooooo.... -

Freo would need to move mountains mate to get Egg, Dee's im pretty sure there getting Grundy so thats a first rounder they need and i would not be surprised if they have an eye on a middle of the park talent in the draft pool within the 6 to 14 pick range.... What you give us for Van Rooyen? he will figure next season. -

Its offical, read it on the sky train a few hours ago....Egg is west bound, think you very wrong there mr, the dark one in nit nack can hardly get on the park these days and like he is pushing 32 or there abouts, dont think you carry much weight around the Eagles recruiting room there fella. Jackson had a ordinary second half to the year like the rest of my team....but was great first half of the year.... Egg was instrumental in the big lift in the GF mate, Fritch was keeping us in the game but when he went on to the ball he made it happen...very good solid second year highliting in an almost BOG performance in the GF, first year it was just showing oodles off class to come... What Freo or Eagles get out of him depends where you play him, the formula is second ruck playing mainly forward, Eagles need Egg more than Freo, i for the life of me cant see how Freo unless they run him like we did...will benefit, makes much more sense at the Eagles. 2 first round picks would be cheap for a 21 year old when the season starts next year, like who's in the draft now that would walk into your team? anyway with a bit of magic you could turn your 2cd pick into 2 first rounders if your a cleaver dicky, give one this year and next years, and still have a first round pick to use this year...... 6m over 7 ys for a ruckman that often dont develop untill there around 25-27 like Max, a spring chicken at 21 start of next season....come on fella....like this guy was looking like Jim Stynes there, could do everything except for the hiccup of this second half of the year when he had 25 mates to tag along with....ive only ever seen one guy just get better and better week in week out then just hold his quality till the day he retired....Jim....Egg was looking the same....mild hiccup this second half of the year.....id pounce if i were you.... -

Young Will should be a happy man.....Egg Jackson could end up at the Eagles next season, not as silly as he looks and has a top manager...shopping the kid in the west... Rising star, premiership player, played nearly all games 53 in total, ruck, forward, on the ball, and i think could easily play across half back as well...and if he stays id put him there next year.....number 3 pick in the draft 3 years ago not 21 yet and cheap at 2 first round picks....minimum.... Freo will have to pay pay pay, and Eagles too, but can the Eagles afford him? after selling your soul for Kelly is there any desire to "do it again".....asks Steely Dan. your all old enough to recall that song, all time classic on the alternative music charts men... Well im sure some surprises are in order...Will Dees, make a late run for De Goofy? like he is what we need without the extra social activities he gets up to...... dont be suprised...i wouldnt be....he has a bit of magic there all searching for and lets face it if Simone was happy to give that last Koorie a go Goofy would be a lot easier to manage....well we think so.....we are highly experienced at managing brain space....Egg is a good boy.... Jason Dunstall will come out of retirement if Lance heads north, Gerard "mercenary" Healy has also indicated he would tag along with Jay to see if they could get a game at the Swans next year.....so there still able to pull the big guys up there, looking for that last superannuation check.... Cats will rubber stamp there hot favourite flag credentials this weekend when they take apart the Lions...... They are due a loss........ Swans and Pies should be a classic, im tipping the Swans here but if Grundy is in the team......the Dee bound boy at just 28 could tip it in there favour... Assuming the Swans make the Gf and the law of averages dictates the Cats need to loose a game....its a red and white affair in Sydney on that saturday night....pretty sure Edison will get dug up and placed on the podium as well along with the drug crazed mrs....with tatts all over her body...looking like shes a glamour queen that just crawled out of a drain....bit like the grunge queen back in the early 00 a Miss Courtney Love.... -

Mr Fj, all codes do a bit of a refresh, NFL in particular and soccer where 30% of the team is turned over, use to wonder why that was so...i got it now...to keep these guys who earn upwards of 50,000E a week move them on keeps them playing at a higher level....have you noticed when some AFL players land there big bucks contracts there hardly seen again.... As far as the Demons....i wont bag Simone to much but next year he will be on the ropes if they dish that up again, the hangover we all thought we were going to have we had, not one new face came into the team another telling point im my mind, yes Hunt and Jake Mel were there Hunt had played most of last year anyway and Jake was injury struck most of last season. We missed the clean up expert in that little fella in David Bowie ahh i forget his first name...no idea why they dropped him then later brought him back in for a week or two then gone baby gone again... Christian and Egg lost there gloss....Brown as in Ben too.....Ho why did they not give the weed a decent run? Look a fair few were missing the Energiser spark from last year...poor Lever and May had to tolerate a sloppy middle and forward set up all year long... Like go recruit someone who plays around the middle has good vision and can pop it on your chest....like the forwards must have thought they were in Ukraine with long bombs coming in, gees basic football is to you know try and get it to a leading player....nahhh......entire middle of the park were guilt of that one... Ho and no spread da ball....Collingwood played a bit like us i notice, well like last year, how they spread it far and wide in the back line... Look Simone and Williams would have been in there ears all year long but when the desire isnt there its not there....after round 12 there were god dam dreadful..... And you know when it became obvious Jackson was heading for Cottlesglow beach like not sign on the dotted line Gawn should have gone back into the ruck and egg Could play second fiddle anyway i heard Petracca today say quite a few were playing injured.....id say from round 13..... -

Thank god we been put out of our misery, it’s been a painful second half of the season mr Will. You would have to be blind as it’s easy to see we’re really only about the 5th best team this season, anyway I will say it again, no new blood in a team will set you back big time, wouldn’t want to see anyone go but you would think they need 3 new faces that’s either come through Casey or from outside, some one said Jackson may niw stay but Dees have there heart set in Grundy so we will see, I think someone like Sparrow should go and bring in a fresh mid from say GWS, anyway what I seen was mids delivering the ball like there in a brothel in Mexico….to much candy don’t know who to choose….and you know I do know my team better the Simone, B Fritch played to deep especially after big Tom went out, flag winning teams often have a half forward that kicks a bag a season….so there….. next year men, go Swans and the best 4 teams are now left in it…
