As my brief used to say ........
Deny you were there, many CCTV cameras don't work, and the rest are usually of too poor quality for positive identification.
This is true , especially in this country where it works or doesn’t depending on who you are or how fat your wallet is ! ????

If you are doing nothing wrong outside your home then why should cctv be a problem anywhere in the world ?
A video clears things up far better In most cases than someone’s statement if a crime is committed .

Not much point as bars will be shut probably , there is hardly anyone here and most of the Thais are broke from not working or only receiving 5000bht last few months so won’t be able to buy booze or food to celebrate !

I have a friend leaving on eva tomorrow and I’m on the one next week.
Swiss air are doing the route with one short stop in Zurich for a hour or so but it’s half price of eva flight which is 20000bht for economy.
British Airways are due to start same route direct in July . Although they advertised it for last 2 months and cancelled them all. -

I regularly use the glue traps for mice and rats, and occasionally find a tokey or golden skink. I free them carefully using cooking/vegetable oil to get the sticky stuff off.
Yes I used olive oil for the tookey I caught on one. ????????

You can get humane traps from lazada big enough for them. The traps are clear plastic so u can see inside and once it’s in they won’t get out. Then it’s a case of taking it few km away and letting it go. Cost about 150 bht a trap.
The glue traps are horrible things and should only be used at last resort.
I had to use one as the tookey was hiding in the space between my air con and the ceiling , but this was too small to put the humane trap and the coving at the side of the air hadn’t been sealed so it could run in there to hide . The tookey would come <deleted> on my bed at night before I went to sleep and then run back on top of the air con. Eventually I got a sticky trap sheet from lazada that was a metre long and placed it on the bed . Two days later tookey was stuck on it .So wearing oven gloves I took it outside and slowly pulled it off the glued sheet . Then cleaned the glue of its feet etc as best as I could and sat it on a wall. Half hour later it had left .

Not true . Could have got a private car to Bkk for 12000 bht or one to surrathanni then flight to Bkk . Koh samui hasn’t been locked off as ferries kept running .

Would be interesting if someone did a study on why death rates vary so much between countries. Thailand and the UK have the same population. Thailand deaths 57, UK 44,000 !! Plus Thailand is next to China with millions of Chinese tourists. Something fishy about all these stats.
Not many old people grouped together here in care homes and western diets and lifestyle may play a part . One stat in uk was 90% of deaths had serious health issues before death . Eg heart problem, diabetes , stroke etc.

Pick up going far too fast for conditions. Wonder if the pajero driver was wearing a seatbelt as the cab area looks pretty ok . I’m constantly telling my Thai wife to put her seatbelt on , first thing I do when I get in the car .

Free air con , fairly cheap food and the chance to look at things you might be able to afford after months or a year of saving for due to being poor !
Dreams and hopes keep a lot of people going , thinking one day it will improve from their situation now and they will have what they want .

My wife drove from issan to Koh samui a week ago and only stopped during curfew time. When getting on boat had to sign where she was staying and had been and that was that .
There are hotels open here but not all and some bars are open as restaurants and actual restaurants but not all.

Scam . Splitting cash with the old guy or giving him 25%

Pile of steaming poop ! I have seen photos posted by Thai friends of them eating with about 10 people all crammed into a table for 6 people. Out in car the other day I seen same in Thai street restaurants. All for show to make it look like doing something incase it takes of again and sick numbers increase .
Went to Tesco the other day and in and out with shopping , no temp checks etc and a day ago they started temp checks and getting customers to sign book with information about themselves and limited numbers allowed into the shop. What’s the point after weeks of it being open as normal ! ????

I got married by signing the papers at local gov office here with my Thai wife . 20 mins done and that was it . Had actual wedding party etc a week later. I have not went to the office in scotland to register it and as far as I have been told and am aware from looking into it I am not legally married anywhere apart from here !
One wife is hard enough work so don’t think I will be looking for another in uk ! ????- 1

Yep. ATR-72 as flightstats says.
I wonder: What can you do in Samui currently? What is allowed/open?
Hotels? Beaches?
Not sure about hotels but zazen were offering rooms for 990 bht so I guess hotels are open unless they have special reason.
I seen a video a few days ago from chaweng near dr frogs an there were about 50 people on the beach and in the sea .

There are 35 seats per flight seemingly as they are using the atr plane !
