Having lived and worked in a strict islamic country for over 30 years all i can say is a lot of people in that faith are ticking timebombs. Ive seen easy going types switch to extreme after a few weeks of religious teaching. Ive watched westerners convert becoming strict islamists to the extent their security intelligence agency interviewed them multiple times on returning to their home country I cant see a sensible reason why western countries want to import these people and their values.

As someone who's spent 30+ years living and working in strict islamic countries the burka has no place in Australia. Just look at places like Saudi where mutawas have had their powers reduced and see all the saudi women no longer wearing them. The same goes for flying. Burka wearing women soon change into western clothes once the aircraft takes off. It appears there are a higher percentage of strict islamists in Australia than in strict islamic countries.
