I understand, those witnesses failed to stop to assist the accident victim. Could they now be charged instead? (By victim I mean the policeman, not the poor boy who is blamed for everything but apparently not at fault)

Veering off the road is no evidence for DUI. No bottles around? But also no evidence of him throwing them into some klong around there. So we don't know.

I don't defend him, just picking on details without taking stance. Things often seem obvious but could lack integrity with a good lawyer. (Thinking of some hi-so case as well)

There is no evidence he was drink driving. He could have started drinking in the field only after the crash, supposedely it was really him who crashed. I doubt testimonies claiming someone is drunk have value in court, at least not in civilized countries...

I thought it was clear, the police are dropping the charges because the litigation office dropped them and it would be negligence to continue charging him. 

Will it be the same policemen investigating this who also dropped the charge initially?

Because he is obviously not at fault...Therefore all charges were dropped now as a logical consequence...(Irony off)

Maybe it's a trap to catch him. Once Boss returns to Thailand, it suddenly was all a misunderstanding and he will be arrested and charged...(probably not ????)

If I call someone and that persons says he/she cannot hear anything, well then I call again and do not start complaining about it. It can always happen, even when my father is in such situation. If that guy did not hear anything he could have just hang up, maybe it would make it better or more sensible then? Looks to me like the lady kept on talking despite being told he cannot hear her. 

So I understand the news here is they land in jail despite the bribe offer.

But didn't he say he cannot hear anything? If he cannot hear her what does she expect?

It's a psychological problem why she might be gambling. She needs help and not being ditched since she is part of your family. She has not been gambling before and some persons are more prone to addictive behavior. I am not a psychotherapist but looks like she has lost her motivation/dreams/purpose in life and needs help to get back into life.

There is a 'give way' sign for the car. Not sure why as the car stays in the same lane while merging onto the main road. But maybe because of vehicles crossing like that ????.

Landing without permission, that's illegal on top.

The old signs look all fine...I see many more signs in need of a replacement without any action so far.

They have also built a second u-turn under the Thai-Belgium bridge on Withayu intersection coming from Silom in BKK. Yes, I am wondering why and who made money out of it. Both u-turns are in use since then.
