  1. So beautuful!
  2. What? In own Countries if western EU or US nothing will happen to any of them
  3. I use Xatral, same indications. Available at pharmacy down Ploen Chit, 950 THB (elsewhere is 1400).
  4. Mayday Fuel is enough as is recorded in the black box and ATC controller is responsible in case of issues.
  5. With still more that 30min of fuel left but burning fast the Pilot can declare "Minimum Fuel" and ATC will TRY to prioritise the clearance to land. With 30min or less, "MAYDAY Fuel" can be declared and any ATC MUST allow the airplane to land (in many cases even at an Army airport), then assessing any needed paperwork later once is safely down. This is what they did - I also see no drama but should have been avoided wit proper paperwork in place
  6. Definitely, thicker envelopes vs. the initial ones
  7. Some thicker brown envelopes are still passing hands
  8. That was a lucky draw, 3150 GBP ex Myanmar "tourist"!
  9. not cobra but a nice fella.
  10. If he did admit it was speeding at 80 km/h in the city, he was travelling above 100/110 km/h for sure in Bangkok traffic.
  11. yah, also as it is on the right side of the head . RIP
  12. I did stay in three condos in 10 years and always got deposit back in full. They might keep some last month unpaid bills or if something is damaged (e.g. furnitures, walls, floors..), but usually refund.
  13. Don't overstay, fine and stamp on passport is the least of your problem, which might escalate if caught before Immigration. Get a 1900THB extension, you are still on time.
  14. If you change airport and/or have to pickup and then recheck in your luggage - yes. If it is the same Airline, airport and luggage is checked in for final destination, no - just go to new gate before Immigration.
  15. Best finger pointing ever
  16. Why shooting at a Civet ? I do not think it's a dangerous animal
  17. The two things that puzzled me was why mr.Shaik removed the battery from his camera and put it on the sofa and why the two guys did steal a battery.
  18. Ko Mai Si is the closest landing strip to Soneva Kiri on Ko Kood - a short boat's ride. There are no resorts (at least luxurious) on Ko Mai Si
  19. With a 5 years Thai driving license the international one will be issued in few minutes. I did it twice for trips in Australia. Make sure your residence address is on the Work Permit. Mine for example it is not - so I had to go to the Immigration office to get one and had to go back to DLT on following day.
  20. Good leaders, preventing invasions.
  21. I have just gone though it, with my new Work Permit. While the old WP had address, the new one does not so on the day when I went there to get the appointment they did ask me to obtain a certificate of residence (either ex your Embassy or Immigration). I got one at Immigration on the same day, took me about 2 hours wait -easy peasy. Do not forget to ask at DLT the web address and code to perform the Online Training at your home any day before your appointment. Once Training is over (about 1hr with some checks) you will get a QR code, save it and show during the process on the day of appointment. As per medical certificate, if you will go by Sukhumvit Soi 99 DLT, I do recommend to get one on the same day of the appointment at the small clinic located opposite side of Sukhumvit 50mt north from BTS exit. Fast and cheap (I think 140-150 THB or so, 5min wait). Note there are three counters in the DLT office for the booking and the start of process, one of them is for Foreigner, queue there.
  22. never heard of. In theory is not mentioned how many times via air, in practice the IO can flag if he/she suspect might come to work or spend too much time in the Kingdom and can deny entry next time. Better she get a proper Visa in Manila.
  23. The only rule for denying entry is lack of funds. Other are just guidelines, however when refused to entry what they can officially stamp on passport is only the "lack of funds", even though one can prove to have.
