  1. Yes to both Chidlom BTS (through Central by DeanDeluca) and to Ploenchit BTS (exit by Paul bakery)
  2. Ao Nang beach dogs are the most infamous in the Kingdom, not sure why but there have been several attacks expecially to kids in the past https://www.thephuketnews.com/dog-bites-south-african-boy-at-ao-nang-beach-78048.php https://www.thephuketnews.com/finnish-boy-5-attacked-by-stray-dogs-at-ao-nang-krabi-70465.php https://www.pattayamail.com/thailandnews/stray-dogs-on-ao-nang-beach-in-krabi-targeted-after-attacks-on-tourists-401849 ...and others
  3. "He reportedly claimed he found the gun and the ammunition in a plastic box in front of an unnamed go-go bar, so he just decided to keep it" Yah, yah..
  4. Can try the second hand warehouse Nakayama Japan - Bang Na area
  5. https://www.google.com/maps/@12.9828895,100.9239095,3a,15y,173.84h,81.11t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sK6915HHAXjTIO7gdknLQLg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192 And with the grass all around could not even see. RIP
  6. Walk in at Med Park hospital located on MRT metro station with passport and get Moderna booster for a fee (I did pay 700 THB last month)
  7. Can't be that one is boarding with these not be sure to be caught. May be miscommunication between Israeli and Thai secret service and the info was not passed over to the airport. We'll not be able to find out the matter will likely be handled between Embassies
  8. ..had agreed a price of 150-160 baht to go from Central World to Surasak... Either 150 or 160, already first error by the tourists, not clear on what was at stake. Second, (but they are excused if here for the first time) no way a waiting TukTuk will bring from CW to Surasak for 150 THB, min would be 200 to 250 - after though negotiation. Third one, never start debating or escalate.. just leave the tuktuk, give him the 150 and take a taxi; he was pointing finger, many other would have been pointing a knife.
  9. Upon exiting past Immigration and custom control area, move towards I think exit 4 and look to your right just behind the escalators to go down to taxi there is luggage collection booth
  10. In addition to these two options -which are Country of origin dependent-, one can also ask for a Tourist Visa at the own's Country Thai Embassy, for a maximum of 60 days in the Kingdom. It can be extended 30 days allowing 90 days in Thailand.
  11. Must be Italian, EU or have specific reasons from TH: Most travelers who have been in risk countries in the previous 14 days before arrival are not allowed to enter Italy. This entry restriction does not apply to Italian Citizens and lawful permanent residents, Citizens of the European Union or the Schengen area and their family members, as well as holders of long-term resident status and their family members, Travelers who have a proven and stable emotional relationship (even if not cohabiting) with Italian/EU/Schengen citizens or natural persons who are legally resident in Italy (long-term residents), and who need to reach their partner's home/domicile/residence in Italy, and Travelers with work, health, study reasons as well as with urgent matters and those returning home. Let's wait as rules are going to possibly change in March/End March. Cases and deaths are still high in Italy nowadays and Green Pass needed to travel or enter all venues. As Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik and Astra TH are not accepted, a tourist with no green pass will be pretty much stuck.
  12. Can enter from end of Soi 10 then keep walking straight past temp control alongside old Benjakirti and the park area of its extension. Time to time I did find the new park entrance closed (will see it from afar),, may be when major works are (still) ongoing in new park with heavy machines. It does close at 5PM. Alternatively from Ratchadapisek Benjakirti main entrance then walk straight out of it and turn left alongside it. The Green lane connection is still closed but the elevated walkway is pretty much finished. The main entrance on Duang Phitak Rd. by the Amphitheatre and the one at the end of Soi 4 are still closed.
  13. No more curfew, but in any case with flight ticket you would have been able to go to the airport even during curfew.
  14. Well this is also showing the stubbornness of EU, where double or triple vaccinated people cannot get in if they did not get the "EU kind of approved" vaccine (no Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik, India and Thai AZ). All politics too.
  15. My school -primary- already informed children to provide ATK negative test every day, done the night before, presented at the school entrance. School will test 50 kids randomly per week directly in the school
  16. Problem is: c) they did not share the widest slice of the cake with PWO Board - rookies
  17. My condo pool is already open since Aug 30th, allowing 2 families per hr and one family per day. Gym did open this week after many months.
  18. All I knew which entered in the Country with Sandbox are friends living in Thailand which had to go abroad and come back, not proper tourists -Sandbox being better then a quarantine in boring Bangkok hotel
  19. Agreed, my Company did register me (below 60 YO) and my wife and we did already have the fist doses, second ones by end Aug
  20. All tourists already left, as hotels had to close down. They are the ones enjoying beach or Dive centers. Hope the cases will go down to 0 soon and the island will reopen but might take weeks or months
