If he’s found guilty it will be headline news in the Right Wing media for a week praising the justice system on a fair and just decision and that they support the judicial system 100%.
If he’s found not guilty, or just gets probation (as most anyone charged and convicted of saying “no” to a question on a firearms form is), they’ll be complaining that the current administration pulled a fast one.
They seem to think Biden is capable of controlling a Grand Jury, and the jury that convicted Trump, (that the defense approved), but is powerless keep his own son out of jail.
Logic only a “stable genius “ understands.

Something for Conservatives to celebrate. They love extracting revenge on Liberals. If the same thing happened and the director was conservative they'd be defending him to the end. Total hypocrisy.
The producer hired an armorer , an expert in weapons to make sure there was no way accidents like this never happened. She allowed live ammo on the set where there was absolutely no reason to have live ammo on a movie set.
If a producer hires a degreed and qualified engineer and a structure he designs fails and people are killed or injured, it's the engineer's responsibility.
If a producer hires an expert stunt coordinator and follows his advice and a stunt goes wrong, it's the stunt coordinator's fault.
If a producer hires a licensed caterer and they provide meals and people get sick or die from food poisoning, it's their fault, not the producer who hired them.
Actors aren't firearms experts or stuntmen, or stunt drivers or stunt pilots or ninjas or Jedis or stunt divers. They're not expected to check every prop, inspect every car, every motorcycle, every camera rig, every wire, every pad , every harness, every gun, every bomb, every light saber, every club or sword, every knife, evey bottle, every window, every prop nuclear warhead or anything else to make sure it's safe. Since they're not experts, how would they even know? They weren't taught to tell the difference between a live round, a blank and dummy bullet because that's not their responsibility.- 1

The 'disaster' is that alcohol sales and use and adverse effects have gone down since cannabis was (re)legalized, as happens in every state , province or country the decriminalizes or legalizes cannabis and that has caused alcohol revenue to go down.
The other disaster is that police and military aren't getting a cut of the business and government officials aren't getting paid off to allow it.Nothing to do with public health or concern for Thai's who did as the Thai government suggested and started growing or selling produce that's more profitable than cassava, rubber or rice. All to do with greed and personal enrichment of politicians and government officials.

I don’t blame the Brit for reacting that way towards someone who was sexually assaulting his wife.
It didn’t say he sexually assaulted her, it said he made sexual advances. He could have been flirting or talking suggestively.

Try and find another way for Thailand to earn/get money and stop relying on frigging Tourism that is destroying the country. Amsterdam have now banned any more new hotels for this reason.
Amsterdam put a hold on the construction of new hotels primarily because of the disruption caused to the lives of Amsterdammers who live in the centrum, specifically de Wallen, the Red Light District.
The problem is primarily caused by UK tourists who can cheaply and easily pop over for the weekend (because weed isn't legal in the UK) and get commode-hanging drunk, too high on weed, mushrooms, X or whatever else they were able to find and walk around the RLD yelling and shouting and singing and throwing things in the canals, <deleted>ting and pissing outside, photographing and harassing the sex workers in the windows.
I used to live on O.Z. Voorburgwal twenty years ago, right in the middle of the RLD. On the weekends it was busier but in the past decade the streets have become jam packed with drunken sex and drug tourists who either don't know or don't care that they're standing right in front of people's homes, who are trying to sleep at 2 am.
I don't know if they think it's Disneyland or Carnavaal but it's inconsiderate drunks that are causing the problem, not too many tourists.- 1

He should have vaporized dry herb instead and he wouldn't caused lung problems.
I traveled for an extended period and didn't use any cannabis for four months and the only difference I noticed was that I'd remember my dreams. I didn't consider that a benefit. The most dangerous side effect of using cannabis are the laws.- 1

Coincidentally, today I just an article summarizing a clinical study concluding that a single dose of LSD can cure anxiety and provide long-term positive effects.
In Thailand, it’s “death paper”- 2

Utter rubbish! Never happened to me on the many trips I have driven into Vientienne from Udon, and never heard of it happening to others? Where did you come by this little gem?
Not in my experience. Out of the last ten trips to Lao I’d had the cops try to shake me down for money many times.
1-Driving with my headlights on at 5 pm.
2- My tire touching the line before the crosswalk although three other Lao vehicles were all over the line.
3-Not turning right at a stop light4-Illegal parking, where there were Lao cars behind and in front of me in the same zone.
5- Speeding while driving the same speed as Lao cars that weren’t stopped.
If you’re a farang in Lao with Thai plates, just ask “how much?” when you’re stopped.

some people just love living their lives in fear it would seem
Skip wearing seatbelts too then. Most accidents are minor, why live in fear? It’s just big-auto profiting, somehow… No protective gear when you’re working in the shop. Safety glasses and welding masks are for sheep. No nut cups either when playing sports.

You mean they lied and said “You know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat — as the heat comes in. Typically, that will go away in April.”,
It will disappear, it’s disappearing”.
“It’s just a case of the sniffles”. And they they refused the wear a mask in public and encouraged the public to ignore the advice of medical experts?
Yes I agree. The person who said these things is directly responsible for the deaths of over 400,000 of the million American who died and the reason why eight times more people per capita died in the US than in Thailand from Covid. Sad, really sad…

Hi, with a one year non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai spouse, how does the timing work ?
I realize you can stay in the country a maximum of 90 days, but say you exit and reenter Thailand every month or every two months. That resets the clock, right? So you never have to worry about traveling on a certain date for the 90 day requirement, right?
You can leave and enter at any border, right? You don’t need to go back to the Savannaket consulate, is that correct?
Evidently the new 90 reporting system isn’t connected to immigration. Ten weeks ago I did 90 day reporting online. Exited and reentered Thailand two weeks ago but recently received a notification to do the 90 day reporting before the 90 days, starting ten weeks ago, again. I can ignore that reminder, right?
I normally don’t bother to report my address again when I reenter Thailand TM30, since I figure since I went through immigration and they know I’m here and I’ve never had a problem.

Perhaps because lovely ganja cures everything.
In every country, state or province that has re-legalized cannabis, the use of opiate-based analgesics, and alcohol has dropped significantly. Not enough to close pharmacies though.

Pretty sure private businesses in Iceland, and just about everywhere else, have the right to refuse service to anyone unless it violates civil rights laws, which this clearly doesn’t.

I’m finally going to start receiving Dutch AOW pension but I noticed they are withholding 11% income tax. My earnings are below the limit of tax liability in the Netherlands, I have a BSN but I’m not a Dutch citizen or resident and I see Thailand has a tax treaty with the Dutch government.
Is it possible to file a Dutch tax return to reclaim the withholding ? -
It’s been one year already? Wow, time sure flies in Thailand.

Show off hands, are all the people using the term “pot heads” alcoholics? I’m seeing a lot of the same account names I see every Buddha day asking if there’s really no alcohol sales for 24 hours.

Fake ads and scams ? Yeah right .
Yeah, right. Facebook accepts and continues to run ads offering thousands of dollars of products (Amazon returns of iPhones, iPads, PS5’s AirPods, laptops, tools for $49.95, including free worldwide shipping.
You can’t ship a pallet across the street for fifty bucks. It’s an obvious scam but FB allows it and doesn’t care as long as the seller pays for his sponsored ads.
I don’t expect they’ll shut down FB but it’s a wake-up call that FB can’t support annd promote obvious and blatant scams. Facebook was successfully sued in the EU for similar dirty dealings.

No it isn't. You can buy whippets of it online and in restaurant supply stores all over the country. You can but 6m3 tanks of it from gas supply companies or online. It make be illegal to sell it in balloons for the purpose of people inhaling it but N20 is definitely not illegal in Thailand.
