  3. Living in the so called 'real' world...

Taxi fares costing £20 for just a few kms,

    Paying farang prices IN farangland,

Did i mention the fat ugly birds over 30,

Restaurant prices, with service charges, and poor service,

The season for muck spreading in the countryside...pooo!

Paying overpriced amounts for car servicing, and maintenance, and car tax,

The tap water ain't all that good for you anyway, anywhere,

The lack of english spoken....in England!

    Benefit cheats,

    Tax dodgers,

Cold callers on the phone 2 or 3 times a day, and door to door salesmen,

The weather, cold winds cutting you in half in the summertime...,

The lack of corrupt police, get a ticket, go on their record,

    Parking charges everywhere,

    Traffic wardens,

Paying tax on tax on tax,

    Council tax,

    Planning permission, (time scale)

Dustmen not emptying your bin because its 6 inches away from the kerb,

Television licence, when not using terrestrial tv,

    Being in the EU,

    Weak government,

    Political correctness.......

  9. I came to Thailand because i had had enough of working...and wouldn't have been able to afford a good lifestyle in my home country without working. Plus, had a few years here pulling much more beautiful young ladies than i could have got at home, and i don't mean pulling bargirls. Now I have a beautiful wife, who takes care of me, and actually loves doing so, and we have a good standard of living, without having to work my balls off...bargain.

  10. "We need to stand together" says David Cameron....He won't be standing together with the people...he will be hiding behind armed guards, and bullet proof windows!! easy to say Cameron, but its you politicians who let them into Europe in the first place, and then leave ordinary people to get blown to bits by them.

I bet we won't be seeing Cameron walking the streets, in Sharia held areas, (only with sharp-shooters up on every frickin' roof-top).

So another 30 odd innocent lives have been taken, and we cannot say a word, for fear of being called a bigot or racist....nice one.

  11. it is what it is.

I find it useful, you may not.

Please do explain its usefulness. Does it make you breakfast in the morning?

How about bringing you your slippers?

    Does it do you taxes?

Maybe it cuddles you when you're sad.

Or is it that you can watch your friends post ridiculous photos of their food or even worse themselves.

    Yes, very useful.

    Open your eyes mon ami....

Few weeks back I was thinking about a friend I had half a century back....Looked on FB for his name...Nothing. Searched FB surnames for anyone in the area he may still be....Found a lady in that area with the same name.

Sent a message...."Is this guy your family".....She replied..."Yes it is my dad"..

Wow.....Her dad, my old friend, he does not have an iPhone or PC, so she went to his house and showed him my stuff on her iPhone.....It was my chum, we now talk when she visits.........Brilliant.....thumbsup.gif

I could do the exact same thing utilizing about a million other sites on the internet in about the same amount of time.

Just do it then.....what a stupid thing to say.

    read your own post again.

does the sites you utilize bring your slippers? Answer the door? Make breakfast? and its not Facebook...wow, your brilliance astounds me...55555

    Yes, very useful.

He did say he found it useful, you may not...you obviously do not, so there was no real need to say that....

there are literally millions and millions on FB around the world.

maybe the technology is beyond you, and so you put him, and zillions of others down because YOU don't like it. Just say you don't use it, and go for a beer...easy.

  13. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I have both my mobile account and my home internet here and I hardly ever have any problems. Two months ago I bought a Google Chromecast to play with and I experienced hick-ups in the streaming over the wifi network of the old modem. I called True, admittedly, the lady had no real clue what my issue was and I decided it was best to help her conclude my modem had a problem (it didn't really, it was working according to its technical specifications, it was just outdated). 2 hours a later a mechanic was here who understood my need for faster wifi network and her replaced my old modem with a new one at no cost at all. I think he really just wanted to see what a Chromecast was as he was hanging around for another 15 minutes after he was done just to see how the Chromecast worked hehe. Nice guy.

I have also always found both the call center and the shop in the nearest mall to be very helpfull, friendly and efficient. Sorry for the OP, sounds like a shitty situation. Just want to report its not all shit at True and I am Truely a statisfied True customers hehehe

I hope you gave your 'mechanic' a healthy tip?
