Is there less talent around in the present day? Maybe
Is there more talentless drivel around? Without a shadow of doubt
I think as in most things, the sheer amount of content available is always going to dilute the real talent so it is always going to appear the bar has been lowered

I used to live in Thailand before so I have a local bank account there under my name. Thanks
Which bank?
I have Kasikorn account which allows me to buys shares on SET online through K-Cyber. Had to go into a branch to set it up though.(filling and signing forms etc) So if you are planning a trip any time soon, perhaps you could do that

Not quite. They cant move in to where they are already. The field was shared by all three companies with Total being the operator. They and Chevron are pulling out leaving PTTEP to operate the field.

Re-entered Thailand yesterday from Dubai. Immigration asked for my Thailand Pass , nothing else. Entered no problem.
I entered Thailand from Dubai about two weeks ago and they wanted to see hard copies of everything , Thai Pass, vax cert, hotel booking, insurance and Boarding card! twice before even getting to immigration.
So maybe they removing the pointless additional checks we went through but i would have hard copies of everything just in case it reverts to type

Have you travelled through Swampy recently? On a flight from Dubai, after disembarking, they lined all pax up on plastic seats while two girls went down the rows checking various papers, once checked, you were then allowed to join the standing queue to get your same papers checked officially, then you were allowed on your merry way to go to immigration.
So no different time wise to doing the antigen tests.

The bottle neck is caused by all arrivals waiting for their transport, a 20 minute wait for result of test is a lot less than the 2 hour organized chaos we endured waiting for our designated "special SHA+" van to take us to our hotel

i was given no instructions on where to send results, so did test and took photo of negative result with my phone, just in case anyone requires to see it!

ok, so have a question for the electrical experts, on one of my Souer GTIs, the cooling fans are u/s.
Specs Manufacture Poweryear.
Type DC Brushless fan.
Rating Dc 24V 0.18A
After looking online, the closest i can find are 0.15A or 0.2A, will either of these be compatible, if so which would be preferable, or is it vital to find 0.18A fans
TIA

No doctoring of documents, and one submission only. Received after 5 days.

For attachments I read that PDFs aren't possible and they need to be converted to Jpeg. That is fine but I have some screenshots as PNGs. Can they be uploaded or once again do I need them to be JPG also?
PNGs are allowed

So in the UK at the moment but got wife to send me the figures from our panels.
one bank of 3 over 13 months produced 1557kw/h second bank of 3 over 12 months produced 1247kw/h for total of 2804units.
At 4.5 baht per unit over 12000baht saved so far so well on course to pay for itself within the 3year target

I will absolutely second Glenmorangie as it is the best by a country mile. Good luck to everyone and I could only afford ‘one bottle per day per man perhaps’????????????????????????????
Agree. Definately my favourite

You dont really "apply" for a PLF. you just fill it in on;ine. It has to be done no more than 48 hours before and you need to have booked your PCR test(s) in the UK already as one of the questions is the booking code for these .At the end, upon completion, it will give you the option to download/print/save etc, there was no waiting for a reply.
The UK side accepts the information on a phone but some airlines want a paper copy as they check the info at check-in. They also required a copy of the receipt for UK PCR booking
This was with Thai Airways

It might be different now, but I suspect that UK authorities are far too busy to care what individuals do. Unlike Thailand, thy appeared o have faith that people would obey the rules, and left it to that
It certainly is different now, was for me anyway.
I returned last month and received a phone call every day of the ten of self isolation

If the water is fairly static around the ship, they could also dump heavy brine around it and float it out that way.
Just a novel idea.
With MARPOL regulations it would take so long to get paperwork, it would be quicker to dig it out with a teaspoon

Well im still here at the moment, will probably be heading for work in a week or two.
So we have had 6 x 360w panels producing for seven months now for a total of 1360kwh
At approx average of 4.5 baht thats 6,120bht saved on bills so far for an average of 874bht / month
With total outlay around 31000, thats still keeping me on track for R.O.I of less than 3 years so very happy with the project.
So anyone considering their own project, i would say it is well worth the time and money especially with the efficiency of panels getting better vs cost

OK so you are saying its up to the people of Scotland to decide but you want to stipulate what the timescale should be.
Tut tut tut, . Again, i do not want to stipulate anything, you do understand the difference between offering an opinion on what i think would be the preferable route and stipulting demands?. i think you either have a huge chip on your shoulder or severe lack of reading skills.
7 hours ago, Rookiescot said:So a Remainer who has joined ranks with all the Brexiteers on here in order to frustrate Scottish independence and Scotland rejoining the EU? Sounds odd.
I haven't joined any ranks and am certainly not trying to frustrate anything, please show me where/how/when i have done this
7 hours ago, Rookiescot said:You continually avoid the point I am making. Is Scotland an equal partner in the UK with its larger partner England? Yes or no will do
No avoiding, you added this question half way through as deflection from the initial point, When you have addressed that point, then maybe i will join in a conversation about that, or maybe not, It has no relevence to your initial post
