1000 people queuing to get their 1,000.000. That's 1billion baht.
50,000 people panicking, that is 5trillion baht.
would 50,000 x 1,000,000 not be 50 billion bht ?

The UK does not agree to the verification (or resolution) process wrt state aid.
yes, i understand the EU would like the UK to agree to their rules on state aid for businesses trading with the EU, rightly or wrongly depending on your views
However, if you read @puipuitom post he inferred it was because the UK wanted "special rules" on state aid with regard to businesses operating in the EU , which i agree would be totally unacceptable, but i cannot see where the UK has asked for this so thinking he may have made it up

When you as farang wants to do business inside Thailand, you have to do that in accordance with Thai laws, unless... you can make another agreement with the Thai governement ( special BOI rights etc)
When you as non-EU company/citizen wants do do business inside the EU, you have to do that in accordance with EU laws. When you want special rules, you have to make an agreement.
i think any one wanted to do business inside the EU will do so according to EU laws, same as for any nation in the world and i dont think anyone is asking for special rules in this regard, if i am incorrect, please point me in the right direction

I went to Trendy this morning. The shop doing photos on the ground floor is still open. There is also a photo booth outside a small shop just a few yards from Trendy, towards the Sukumvit.
Thanks. im there next week so good to know. Hopefully the ones that do the photos at Trendy should have enough experience to comply with the UK requirements. Ive had enough of other photo shops telling me "is ok" when it very clearly isnt haha

I know you can get the photos done at the place on the ground floor
Is that a booth or a shop? Is it still there and open? Thanks

So it would appear the school acted very quickly, instalilng cctv to gather evidence, then dismissing the teacher on the grounds of this evidence.

Well done to this school. It is so refreshing to see actual action taken for a change. Those calling for the school to be shut down...Get a grip. The school has responded effectively and appropiately in the matter

July produced 530kWh and August to date 498kWh. Easily covers my beer bill with some change
Definately better weather this week.
Since i added the next 3 panels to give me 6 x 360w in total
week 1 51kwh (Monday to Sunday )
week 2 57kwh (Monday to Sunday )
week 3 42kwh (Monday to Thursday with 3 more days to go)
As an aside
The second set of 3panels cosistently produces about 5-8 % less than the first set of 3 each day. with exactly the same set up and equipment used. Not sure why as the difference between the two rows going into shade at post 18:00 is only about 10 mins and the power produced at this time is minimal,
Maybe i will try swapping the reading displays over to see if get the same % of difference to help guage how accurate they are

Pay a policeman a fine rather than adding an extra day and the costs of going to court, pay a large fine and compensation to relatives, rather than have the public pay for your keep in prison, good or bad depends on your view
No problem with this, its the way things are done here, right or wrong its not our call,
I just can never understand why they fabricate stuff when glancing at any road for more than a minute could warrant numerous fines/opportunities of tea money.

Coming from a fishing (trawling) family ive never understood the preference for cod. It does have more flavour than haddock but that flavour comes from the s@#t they eat

Foreigners are not allowed to collect dividends from Thai companies.
Untrue, look at your own link.
foreigners can buy Foreign allocation shares or NVDR shares .these both pay dividends to foreigners. The reason for the Local shares ( which is what you are referencing) is that as most people here know already, foreigners cannot have controlling interests of Thai companies, that is why at least 51% of shares in any company on the SET are reserved as Local shares.

It has my full name in capitol letters, the issue date, the expire date, my birth date, and my ID No. which is my passport number. It DOES NOT have my address. I have lived here for more than thirty years and had numerous Driving Licenses. None of them have ever had my address. My wife's license does not have our address either. The only indication of where we live is the name of the province where our licenses were issued. My wife's license has her Thai ID number instead of her passport number. I asked my neighbor, a Thai, to look at his license and it does not have his address either.
Have you looked on the back?

i have some shares on the SET and the dividend payments are tax deducted 10%
The Thai Tax ID number it states is just my UK passport number
If it is necessary/makes things easier for you to have a Thai tax ID, perhaps just invest a few thousand Bht on the SET so you will be issued an official number
Hope this is of use to you

Sun is stronger in summer, but more clouds and rain.
Last year 1 x 330w panel Aug 28, Oct 32, Nov 29, Dec 30, Jan 29, Feb 28
This year 2 x 330w panel, April 59, May 65, June 57, July 57
So a fairly consistent output all year 1x 330w panel produces 1 unit/day with small variations.
Ha, you posted this as i was typing. Answers it well , thanks

Yes, yesterday was the first day of cloud throughout the day and i got 5.1units from the 6 panels, today is forecast to do the same . The cloud in the morning or late afternoon doesnt drag the figures too much but yesterday was the only time it has been overcast through the 1000-1400 period and has had a dramatic effect.
Im south Bkk and overcast and getting between 350-450 at the moment from 2,160w of panels.
In regards to earlier post, i wasnt sure if the clearer skys in Nov-Feb compensated for the lower sun/shorter days so thanks for the info
-
So , i have had 3 x 360w panels operating for ten days now and got 46kwh for an average of 4.6units/day.
got 2nd array of 3 x 360w panels set up and produced 4.5units yesterday from these.
The worst day so far was 3.7units on a mostly cloudy day but so far the sky has mainly stayed clear during peak hours between 10am to 2pm which i think has helped the figures stay very good but reading other posters returns, i seem to be exceeding certainly my expectations. If i were to maintain this rate of generation , then i would see a return of investment of around two years !!
So my question to those who have had solar for a year or more is how much variation do you get throughout the year? And how does July compare ?

hanks for clarifying, I did get a bit worried and concerned after reading that
reminds me of when my well endowed friend and i went to Hamburg, Was invited to a Uni leaving party and the girls asked "how big below". He was pleased they asked so he could gleefully inform them his member was a nice 8and half inches.
all the party giggled and mocked him with their little fingers. I thought if they think he is little then im saying F... A.. but realised they were thinking in cm.
i told my friend the confusion so he asked how big is that in cm then.. being a bit of a t..t i told him to multiply by 1.5 haha

Current situation at Trendy Building (Renew UK passport)
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

So i used the photo booth , and for the coorect size you get 8 photos for 120 baht, unfortunately they are on one piece of photographic paper, luckily a kind lady in one of the visa shops on level one cut them into singles for me.
however on Tuesday i received email from HMPO saying they cannot accept these photos due to print quality so i have to submit two more phots to them. i did this yesterday. i also recieved notification that due to current circumstances, processing times will be up to 8 weeks
