  1. I sure hope that they have good documentation and the manager is ultimately held responsible. Always pushing things down the chain.
  2. Well it’s tragic, but at least he went out doing something he seemed to enjoy.
  3. Glad they are standing up for themselves. No need to change their jobs. The restaurant needs to find a new service to deliver their food and make sure that they are prepared. That’ll last until the new drivers get pissed off or the owners step up their game.
  4. I’m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding and with enough envelopes they will be able to get out of it.
  5. 900 baht is a joke. He should be arrested and quickly excused from the force. Especially with that temper and attitude towards the police.
  6. It doesn’t matter who did the beating. This is sick and all involved whether physically or mentally should be persecuted. Unfortunately it sounds like they have some money and connections so we’ll see what happens, or probably won’t.
  7. I’m in Pattaya and always do once I return. It may not be necessary but I’d rather not take the chance. Easy enough to do.
  8. Seems like China is continuing to build large complexes in foreign countries only to be left desolate. They are only in it for their gain.
  9. Hopefully that child finds a good home. Obviously not the one she came from. Maybe a relative will step up, but the mother is not fit to take care of her child.IMO
  10. Well they certainly haven’t been to Pattaya yet. Doesn’t help the fact that they “may be fined”. They should be taken off the roads, fined and not released until they get it fixed and signed off on, but hey TIT
  11. Wish they would do that to all those modified mufflers on the motorbikes.
  12. They are around every school, not just in Buriram. They don’t care about the age and the police don’t enforce it unless something bad happens.
  13. Why does Joe even care what happens in Canada? This is just a pissing contest between the two guys. Refocus on what’s happening in the States.
  14. Not surprised the police didn’t take much interest, they are probably just trying to cover their own a$$es.
  15. The fact that she started at 10 years old is crazy and should have never happened. Unfortunately they don’t know how to make a law and enforcing it. They don’t even do it for cigarettes. Sadly many young children are still going to do this until there are laws and looked after by their parents. Being illegal is just a joke. They need to regulate it like beer and maybe like many places scan their I’d in order to buy anything that requires you to be over 21. Heavy air pollution, age and vapes are not a good thing. Maybe they can at least discuss the dangers in school, instead of just saying they are illegal and obviously not enforced at school.
  16. Sorry no empathy for murderers. They made the choices and now they have the consequences.
  17. Now to start demoing the major eye sores around town. It’s a start
  18. They really lack education and resources for the locals involved in gambling. It’s illegal is all that you hear about it except that there are underground gambling casinos. They need to open their eyes and ears and accept that there is gambling going on and they should be figuring out a way to help the addicted people in need. Not just dismiss it or condemn it when someone takes their lives. Same goes with alcohol, drugs and ignoring the fact there is prostitution in Thailand. They always deny or react to situations instead of proactively addressing the issue. RIP poor troubled lady.
  19. Any pastor who incites violence against anyone should be removed and replaced immediately. If not, then they should lose their tax exemption. Sounds like a doomsday preacher who doesn’t understand the Bible in full. He does not deserve a platform to speak about politics.
  20. It’s illegal for Thais to sell vapes as well so taking jobs reserved for Thais seems like a reach, well except for the regular cigarettes.
  21. They are obviously trying to go after businesses that are using Thai proxies to engage in businesses reserved for Thais. Nothing new. Pops up every year, but it is becoming more of an issue now with letting most everyone a free 60 day entry and the Chinese and Russians are using this to open illegal businesses and just swapping out staff every couple of months. It’s hardly about most people who buy houses under a Thai company just for living. Sure it can happen, but it’s not common. They are going after businesses and homes bought and used for business.
  22. Hopefully they catch him and throw his butt in jail with a hefty fine.
  23. Hopefully someone has contacted the police and they better get involved asap. There is plenty of evidence of what he is doing and what he will do again or worse. Sad for the girl and cowardly for the guy.
  24. Great time to make another asteroid movie. Almost the same odds as hitting the lottery. I wouldn’t even start to even think about it until it’s a couple years away, but someone needed to claim it and get some news.
  25. If only the cops could do the same we’d be all much better off.
