You can see these men are insecure carpets because they attack anyone disagreeing with them. They must be a very easy touch to the grasping Thai women.

For me, we must teach our sons about women generally, about their entitlement, greed, laziness nagging and aggression. For too long in the West men have been disposable, this must stop and our sons must never continue this. Any woman who is given an easy safe life by our sons must be very very grateful indeed, or she is out. Men must never impregnate them until they are sure about them. A future male pill will help this, strange how it never has been invented by men.

I have met Thai women who agree to be my wife for a salary 30-40k baht a month, they would never think that this is very similar to prostitution. this seems terrible to most but is more honest if not the remuneration level.

Then there the terrible stories you read on here. The man from chiang mai who was dying and his relatives in England sent him some money For the medical expenses. His Thai wife stole the money and he died.

A relation with YOU is only a job, better paid than working in local factory or pulling heads off chickens for 300baht a day.

USA may be a crazy violent nephew but it nearly always does the right thing, and without it the choices would be 19th century appeal of Russia or China and medieval Muslims, there is no advanced civilisation without America protecting us. Since when did Thais care about "rules" ? Obviously the bribe wasn't enough

I was in Laos yesterday and the bandwidth was always very fast there. Thailand was one of the last countries in Asia to get 3G, Laos had it years before Thailand.

I agree Laos and Burma are the travellers' countries now, they are 2 of the rare countries that are not living in America. Laos has only recently allowed cocacola to be sold, during the Vietnam war the CIA was using the old cocacola plant for spying.

To me, Burma and Laos are the places to be now - Thailand is too well worn. I'd recommend any backpacker to spend most of their time in those countries, and the backpackers I know that volunteered in Burma, have all said it was a wonderful, life-enriching experience.

How can they go there? Their smartphones won't work and not enough bandwidth to be a Digital Nomad.

I do not want to eat during a flight,   I do not want "comfort kits" or red carpet treatment, or be treated like a 45minute squire.  I just want to go from A to B,  the flight to SN is only 50 minutes anyway.
