Brits are pussies... they need these advices...
But agree with ukrules:
- completely misleading title for the OP
- this advice against travel to the south is years old
- this advice is given by every country for years
A bit racist there mate !
Brits are pussies but then add , this advice is given by every country ? So if every country why single out the brits as pussies ?
When did 'British' become a race?

Did your American education fail so badly that you don't understand the concept of citizenship?
Are you an American citizen? Are you a Thai citizen? Perhaps you're a citizen of some alien planet?
To answer your question, I'm a citizen of both countries.
So you have answers your own question, clearly.
But there could also be 'issues' about:
- Your Thai language ability. Can you speak read and write Thai fluently?
- Your knowledge of Thailand, Thai institutions, Thai documentation, the way business works in Thailand
- Who specifically to contact in various Thai government offices
- Who to contact in terms of buying various goods and services
etc., etc.
Only you know the answers to these points.
Good luck

Won't that just make it more complicated? Thai people trying to decide if they want to take the test in English, Russian, or Burmese?

The OP said THUR, Thursday< not Saturday. Teachers even wear uniforms, usually on Monday, some with more "i was there" ribbons than some of then generals!
Tuesday and Wednesday aren't Thursday.

Fly up to Udonthani for the day. In and out in less than an hour. They will send new passport to you. We did this in March.

I honestly do not understand why foreigners do not just get a REAL visa and skip all this visa running.
If a person already will be out of the country, why not apply for a real visa while out?
My previous 9 visas were "real". I didn't realise that there was an option to get a fake one.

Maybe if kids in Thailand spent more actually time reading those strange mythical things called 'books' rather than simply cruising farcebook and the like, cyber-bullying would be a non issue, and strangely enough it might actually improve their minds!
Ultimately might end up in a generation or two solving a lot of the problems which bedevil this country
Perhaps if you read one of those mythical things called books you would not be writing such nonsense!
The internet is used for much more than Facebook and cyber-bullying,
It is often used used for researching certain subjects.
It is called Googling
When I Google a certain subject about Thailand, guess what? quotes pertaining to that subject from TVF
Come back as returns,
SO WATCH WHAT YOU SAY ON THE INTERNET. it becomes part of the permanent record and attached to your name for a long long time,
And don't think you are safe behind a pseudonym, any one with an ounce of tech savvy can find out who you are in ten seconds flat.
edit Typo
And which mythological book did you become so acidic through, when reading?
Googling in Thailand, as you well know, is used for plagiarism - for those with some knowledge of how to professionally 'copeeeeeee, na krap'.
Researching certain subjects my ass - you are not Thai, for one! As a professional proofreader/editor... I spend half my time getting paid to re-write Chula, Mahidol, King Monkut's.... you name it university's... Master's degrees and PhDs. Such students pay well for re-writing, and 'Turnit-in' no traceability.
Thus, as for your comment about TVF, it is futher down the list than tertiary 'Googling' - as with almost all work I receive I simply travel to the middle of the 'original thesis', copy and paste, and 'Hey Presto' - Googgles give me a 'farang' Master's Degree paper..... so, you should watch what you write on the internet too! Plagiarised copying is also attached to one's name......and I make links to all papers and items found on your favourite topic, and I cryptically attach, to all plagiarised papers, links explaining why they have been copied.
Also, why do you send TVF users a warning? Watch what we say on the internet, you say? We can write pretty much what we like, if it's within legal bounds of reason or so mundane nobody is really interested. Despite that, keep googling Thailand yourself. You might just find out what a complete mess this kingdom really is. . Plus, we all love the Prince! He's great!
Edit: There's no accounting for sarcasm around here.
*universities', *further, *Google gives me,
No charge for that

Are you the legal father of you child by way of legitimization? If not a one year extension of stay or a multiple entry non-o is not possible.
Have you done the absolute last entry of your visa yet. You can do one just before the visa expires and get a new entry.
You can get a 60 day extension to visit your child from any type of entry at immigration.
Since you have not made any other visa exempt entries you will not have a problem doing your next one. Then you could get the 60 day extension to visit your child.
After that you could go out for a tourist visa or a single entry non-o visa to visit your child. You could get a total of 5 months out a single entry non-o by getting the 60 day extension..
Thanks Ubonjoe,
I'm recorded on his birth certificate as the father and he has my surname. Is "legitimisation" a separate legal process which has to be done?
My last entry was made the day before visa expired (26th Feb).
Can I apply for an extension at any time, and will it give 60 days from "admitted until" date? (as opposed to application date).
