Bruno Rattled Tyson to the soles of his feet and even had him wobbling but just stood there like a <deleted> while the nation (well those with Sky anyway) screamed at him. The rest is history.

Tucker (in their 12 round bore) somehow pulled a huge left hook which stopped Tyson in his tracks but the inept Tucker (coming in off a win over Douglas incidentally) just stood there not quite believing it before continuing his perpetual retreat.

Bruno rattled Tyson...yeh right.....that must have been before Tyson backed Bruno onto the ropes and proceeded to deliver 9" punches to Bruno's head and body ( I think Bruno would have needed some headache pills for a few weeks) and knocked Bruno out....I dont have the fight now, but remember counting each punch in the pub on the after fight replay......also that was the time when Lennox Lewis took a pay day to not fight Tyson, coz Lewis knew damm well that Tyson was very dangerous then and Lewis waited until Tyson was out of form and full of ring rust before Lewis and his people lined up a fight.....Lewis was a great heavyweight and it would have been a superfight to see him fight Tyson back then.......

Tucker was the only fighter to use his left against Tyson to effect, Tyson is very short for a heavyweight and Tucker used his left, so "Pro Fart"...Tucker was back in Tyson's early pro days and Bruno later and they both lost, did ur internet site tell u something different ?

In an earlier post u said that Tyson cant take a punch ?...but now ur saying that both Bruno and Tucker rattled Tyson to the "soles of his feet" but Tyson came back and won the fight ( so ur trying to say that they lost the fight, not that Tyson won it), that pretty good performance for a fighter who cant take a punch......which one is it ?

Im working with a guy now, who lives in and works out of Bangkok....

He is married to a Thai lady, has been for years..

He did his 3 months as a Monk....and when I asked him why he did this, he says that...

"If u ever want to be successful with a real Thai lady, then u have to be on their wave length".....

Now thats hardcore, but it worked for him......

I suggest you re watch the 1st Tyson - Bruno fight, and the Tyson  - Tucker fights. Both men shook Tyson and better men who weren't like rabbits caught in the headlights would/could/should have finished the job.

P F.... I think that u are refering to the "Tyson v Holyfield" fights......

I will say again, neither man u talk about rocked Tyson....Buster Douglas in Tokyo got the better of Tyson, using uppercuts.....that name again for u "P F" was "Buster Douglas", not Bruno or Tucker......"Buster Douglas"

Aussie Kostya Tszyu fights England's Ricky Hatton this Sunday morning (Thai time) but fkin UBC aren't showing it     

Presumably the Aussie channels will have it??? Does anyone know anywhere in BKK or within a few hours of BKK that will be open and showing this fight live on Sunday???

Anywhere that has it will have a guaranteed customer for life ..........

Are u kidding ?....Bruno never shook Tyson, NEVER..! and Tucker did not either, but Tucker fought a smart fight....as for the rest, they all lost !!! as did Bruno by knockout !!

Take a look at what Lennox Lewis landed on a flat footed Tyson ( who had not fought anybody body of Lewis's standard for years) for about 8 rounds of big hits that rocked Tyson on every connect......watch what Lewis says after the fight...Lewis could not believe that anyone could stand up to a beating like that....

Tyson will be a force in the Heavyweight divison again....

Go back to Bangkok soon....and sleep with all her friends....

Hatton is very, very speacial. He did a better job on Ben Tackie than Tszyu did. Vivian Harris and Kelson Pinto also backed out of fights with him, which tells its own story.

Tszyu is good, but so is Hatton. Tszyu isnt invincible. I can remember Diobleys Hurtado had him all over the place and Zab Judah was running rings around him until he got sparked out.

Should be a good fight - you know where they will show it in BKK? If UBC dont get it will the Aussie feeds pick it up?

Most Zu fights are live feeds in Bkk on Star or whatever it is, I will not be in Bkk for the fight,....yes it is live in Oz on Fox....

I am a big fight fan and understand that many people seem to be able to see major fights on TV here in BKK. I have UBC and always try to find broadcasts of major fights but never with any luck. I know you won't be in BKK during this fight but you mentioned live feeds in BKK. Any info on these live feeds would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I have seen on TV a couple of Hatton fights and many highlights. He is a great fighter to watch with a wonderful body attach and very high energy level and conditioning. Still, many fighters seem to come up short in their first really major big time fight and Zu seems to be too experienced and talented for Hatton to prevail. I look for a gallant effort on Hatton's part. But, I expect Zu will gradually wear him down and score a TKO in the late rounds (I guess round 8).

Tiger...the fights I have seen while in Bkk, have been on Star".....but who or how to buy the feed I do not know, but ask around at some of the larger hotels and u should be able to find a place to watch the fight...best of luck

You have obviously noticed that things are getting more and more expensive in thailand as time goes bye. You just have to look at the reasons why, one of them is westeners mess it up because they come over and pay more than top dollar because they are still thinking in Dollar terms. Some people will never realize that 1-2-3000 baht is a lot of money in thai terms, westernization, here we come.....

There are alot of expats on this site and how many have taken a Lady (male expats) and handed over some baht for the time....

The Thai goverment wants families to come to Thailand, not bad tourists/expats that pay for ladys....and who cares except that the Gov make all the rules....2 pm, 1 pm, midnight closing etc.....

If I had 10 baht for everytime i said "did ya pick a winner" in Thailand....well I'd be a billionaire !!

has any one else experienced this? im sure you have.  You hail a cab, get in, great youve got a ride, but for some mysterious reason the cab driver tells you his meter doesent work....Its only his job, his bread and butter, but because you are farang he will guestimate your fare..which invariably will be 2 or 3 times the amount that you should pay.....

The only time that I dont use the metre is if I go up country out of Bangkok...I negotiate the entire fare in advance, and agree to pay the toll ways and make sure that if I want to stay in the village for 5 hours and then come back to Bangkok, the taxi drivers understands this....coz they always start whinging when they get to the village that they want to go back now and earn more money in Bkk, instead of staying out here....but I laugh and say bad luck, u werent saying that when we spoke in Bangkok...and I never ever pay them one baht, even for fuel until they drop me back in Bangkok....and even then they ask for more baht , like they did me a favour by sticking to their agreement, but that is Thailand and I do pay a bit more when I get back.......

sorry, siam_superfly i can't take your fight prediction seriously when you admit you have never seen Hatton fight. How are you supposed to be able to work out who will win if you only know one fighter?

Hatton is like a buzzsaw, he just keeps working. He creates angles to land those body shots in close and he wont give Tszyu a moment to think.

I'm a big Hatton fan but I know he is the underdog in this one. Tszyu has the power but Hatton can win. It's on a par with Nigel Benn v Gerald McClellan. Everyone thought Benn would get sparked by McClellan, who was also a massive puncher but Benn did a job on him.

Write Hatton off at your peril!

Yes..many times.....I hate it if i forget to look to see if the driver has it on...if he doesnt have it on then I just get out if he says it doesnt work......

They seem to always try this metre business when ur departing the airport in Bkk...

But if I forget, I just give him what "I" think is fare" and tell him to get stuffed if he arks up about it.....

same with the motor-cycle taxi riders who always hold their little hands out for more baht.....they get same as if they carry a Thai...

For the last 8 months I have been sending a girl from Issan 15,000 Baht per month.  I see her when I come over, have met the family, etc.  We get along quite well.  She works in a saloon in Kalisin and appears to be fairly leveled headed.  15,000 baht per month did not phase me when I was working in the states but in June I am moving to Thailand and will be on a fixed income.  ( I am not necesarily retiring but sold some properties and decided to enjoy life while I am still young, 47 years old).  Question is should I cut her off when I move to Thailand as I will be supporting her, or at least cut the monthly allowance down?  If I cut it down, by how much then?    I don't want to be bothered for money all the time so I am inclined to reduce the amount to 10,000 Baht per month.  What are your thoughts?  Thanks.

Reduce it by about 15,000 a month......do u realize just how much money that is for someone living in the Northeast......

I hate it when Im in a taxi and the Thai driver has been picking his his nose for the last 15 minutes, but then has tap ur shoulder or leg everytime he wants to speak with u.....

A quick walk outside or to the bathroom with a tissue is the way, coz its really gross how people pull out snot rags (handkerchief) , have a blow and then place it back into their pocket .....rancid...all that bacteria heating up.....a good call by the Thai's for that one...
