  2. Thai virus or Thai visa?

Someone on an independent radio show in US, said, 'You folks in the 4th estate, should know that ratings are driven by hysteria' Yes says the host,

12 people have died in US..16,000 died from seasonal flu this year!

(Not news) 12,000 murders, 30,000 die from Auto accidents..

    That's not news!

The figures in China are skewed from so many smokers, so Americans will do much better? No, so much obesity in US, underlying health issues such as diabetes, heart problems etc.

The original Chinese doctor who died, must have had some problem?

Way less serious than da flu, but I'd hate to be on that cruise ship off of San Francisco, with a few mild cases of covid 19!

My biggest regret is now letting other people into my life.

I had an exceptional good life. But I was lonely. I ate right very little junk food. I exercised running 10 mile races, racquetball, squash. Raced sailboats on the weekends in the winter, Raced sailboats on wednesday nights in the summer. Cruised the Pacific northwest all the way to Alaska. I was off cruising on fridays till sunday in the summers, crabbing, shrimping, catching salmon and cod. Holdays in Mexico and Thailand very  January. I bought and sold houses at a whim. When the carpets were dirty I sold the house rather than vacuum.I hated domestic work.

I seldom worked past lunch time.

But I did t all alone. Singlehanded my 27 footer.Travelled alone, lived alone. Always had GF,s but did not take who ever it was at the time with me treavelling, racing or cruising.GF,s were for dining, and light social activity

I should have got married. Now I am married I realize how much more I could have enjoyed what I did if I had shared it.

    Maybe.  You came out well..

The quote about Karma.. maybe, but the education and better bucks sounds good. Good You made it this far.. (all of You)

I like the story from bricklayer to money manager..

Aloha from me in landpoor (landrich?) Hawaii (I live on my own land, but I'm poor as a kitten..

    Robots took over me business!

    Drum machines!  (Alohz)

50 YEARS...THE 49is not automatic and could be subject to manipulation and arm twisting negotiation as my mate has just experienced in Samui where his remaining lease expired and the owners demanded 20mil B to renew for further 20 years.LOST THE BEACH VILLA

Leases usually go up in 50 years, Hawaii has this system..

What I'm most concerned about is whether walking on the floor travels through and also music. I'm not worried about outside noise or noise from the neighbours. I'm more concerned about disturbing them. I'm quite good at dealing with noise myself but some others may be hypersensitive.

You can probably tell how solid it is by walking on the floor or kind of running, (stomping) and checking how much it shakes or echos within the walls. I can tell, with all the condos in Hawaii which ones are solid and quiet.

  6. Lots of ungrafted trees are flowering around me in Hawaii.. funny..
My friend wrote an article about it.. ten years, versus 4 for graphted teees, (or longer).
Hawaii has a fungus that turns the skin black like a burn. Can be cut off, but can be damaging.
Same latitude as LOS but 7,000 miles away.

  7. (I've not been following this thread, so my apologies if this product has been discussed.  The size of the thread is too intimidating to try to go back and read it from the beginning.)

This showed up in my Facebook feed today:  SmartFlower.  It looks intriguing, but the big question I have is how much it might cost.  I could imagine a high-rise office or condo rooftop with a "garden" of SmartFlowers tracking the sun.  They also have a FAQ with more information.

The Austrian company seems to have geared its info toward the Euro market, addressing such things as sub-zero temps, frost and snow.  Would it be any less appropriate/effective in Thailand's tropical climate?

Is this a realistic product, or just a gimmicky "feel good, look nice" product?

There You go.. not bad, $20k for 20,000 watts or so..tracking the Sun efficiently..
    Thanks! Aloha!!
