Try reading the Article before posting it... ONly about 600,000 registered to attend but organizers claim millions attended. I seem to recall something similar in the past where the estimation was grossly over exaggerated. Nearly 600,000 people had signed up to attend the events, some of which took place in major cities like London and Paris, according to Indivisible, one of the organizations leading the movement in collaboration with a nationwide coalition that includes civil rights organizations, veterans, women’s rights groups, labor unions and LGBTQ+ advocates. CNN has not been able to independently verify how many people attended Saturday’s demonstrations, but “Hands Off!” organizers say that “millions” of people turned up from coast to coast. Organizers say they have three demands: “an end to the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration; an end to slashing federal funds for Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs working people rely on; and an end to the attacks on immigrants, trans people, and other communities.” Either way...... There are 346 million citizens in the US. So a million throughout 1400 events scheduled would be a pathetic attempt. Also, this event was sponsored by Dem lefties. Which means the events probably drew more people to see their shows than to protest and then walked out after the shows. Just like with Harris. One other point. Who cares if many of the events were not even done in the US. Let other countries protest all they want. You can not even bother to count those into any relevance except that they went to the show. A side note. This article was written by CNN. Leftist to the max. The headlines say in the US but the article says in other countries also. So it is very misleading and biased. I do not believe the article is accurate and that the CNN used this to promote hate against Trump instead.

He is a Trump hater. So everything that Trump does is bad in his eyes. He can not help but to spin negativity in threads against things Trump is doing. I would bet he opened the thread simply to cause turmoil in replies. I do not one single link he supplied to verify his claims about Vietnamese shoes costing more in the USA now. Nor anything to substantiate his other claims. This is a purely hypothetical thread with a negative twist to attack a Trump policy.

Thailand Eyes US Arms Deals to Slash Trade Surplus Amid Tariffs
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If the Us does sell it to Thailand. They better make sure it does not have anything inside that China can use as leverage against the US. Surely, China will have their hands in any equipment the US sells to Thailand -
Great to see they finally posted another OP for the foreigner bashers to grovel and complain over. It was getting boring reading all the Thai bashing in other OPs. Since no one really knows what started it all or why the video clip begins with the foreigner hitting the Thai first. It is safe to say that there was something more that happened before that is not being shown. Therefore, the incident could have begin outside of the video shown and the only thing shared was the portion that makes the foreigner look bad. I am the devils advocate for you all. But why i need to be is unclear since it has been proven in other incidences about portions of videos being left out to make the news a good attack or to make the Thai justified for actions such as this. Either way, being so near the police? Why are there not any arrests? Where are the police?

AS was most likely the case. But if the FDA or health services says it is good to have some wine every day to help your blood circulation. Do you start drinking 5 bottles a day? There is no reason to blame RFK Jr for this except to make him look bad simply because some people disagree with his thinking.

Oh come on man... Noone told them to take excessive amounts of Vitamin A. You can overdose on any number of vitamins and supplements. It is clear that the children who have toxicity took too much. To blame it on a recommendation that it aids in treating measles is ridiculous. Lots of Anti RFK Jr people want to blame him if something happens. But in reality it is the parents fault for not knowing the amounts a child should be given. That is a non-prescribed vitamin and can be found in any pharmacy or store. If the dosages were prescribed, then it would be the physicians fault for giving the child too much causing other problems. But to blame it on anyone else other than parents or doctors would just be done to show their hate for this person.

Thailand Responds to US Trade Tariffs: Seeking Negotiation
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Wow... another reactive hate Trump post by you. Trump has stated many times that these tariffs are to balance the trade between nations. Because currently, the US loses on every trade deal. Your comment is more insane than the policy. I hope since Thailand recognizes the trade imbalance and wishes to stabilize it so both countries have equal trade, that other countries follow suit rather than get pissy and try to made trade wars. -
Tourist Sparks Outrage in Phuket Over Throwing Fake Dollar Bills - video
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I would tend to agree. It is not counterfeiting unless they printed it with the intention to use and made it realistic. So why are these comments saying lock them up and deport. The only crime I see is littering. Something each and every person in thailand does daily since the cities fail to have trash bins accessible to people on the streets. -
Bangkok Governor Pushes B9m Plan for Lifesaving Seismographs
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Yeah... but these are not to be used to save lives. This bid for money is just that. A way to get a lot of money using the excuse of protecting from a future disaster. Imagine the profit from the contracts if he gets the funding. Seismographs are pretty much useless in a noisy city. -
Bangkok Building Collapse Sets Unwanted World Records

The sensors would not have helped in this instance. I feel bad about the people caught up in the aftermath of this earthquake. But at the same time I can finally say Thailand legitimately earned 2 spots as #1 in the world. -
Why should there be a hearing tying up the court system that would delay those who are LEGALLY in the country. The Dems are just trying their best to delay Trump and make him look bad for doing what he promised. I am pretty sure if you are illegal in Thailand they do not keep you locked up for months or years deciding if you should be kicked out of the country. You are illegal. The enforcement is a part of the rules for being in the US. It is not about laws being broken or not. These people are 100% breaking the rules for their time in the US. They need to go!!!

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hehe... perhaps it is time to use some of those illegals immigrants as a way to make them legal. Just kidding of course. But they already work for a pittance as illegals -
Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
These naysayers do not realize that if the cost goes up for Thai products. The people will simply not buy them and most likely, will create a business to compete with them in America. Making it better for the Americans. Thailand and so many other countries have been overpricing American exports for too long. Try having something sent to you from the US. 250% tax hike dealing with customs. Yet, as my wife said, Thai exports do not even have to pay tax at all... I am most certain it is the same around the world with unfair trade on imports and exports. It should be balanced out. -
Make-up Artist Transforms Viral Road Sweeper into Thai Film Icon
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
She looked better before all the makeup. nowadays any woman can be model material with makeup or apps that change your physical appearance and facial beauty. This does not make her modelling material or more beautiful. Just more fake and commercialized. With all those cheap tattoos though it makes me wonder what bar she worked at prior to being a street sweeper and who the fathers are for those children. She surely is not your typical Buddhist Thai woman who was a good girl. -
I probably should have paid the money.

Does it really matter? He paid what he ordered.. And for all we know this Op was his April fools joke on AN members. -
The guy does not look hungry. He could live off that fat for a month without eating. Hehe.. the box was just outside their building. This story really goes all out with sensationalism. So what does this mean? They will make him pay a fine and deport him? As if he can pay the BIB or buy an airline ticket if he is so broke to do that. So i guess, it is off to the slammer for him.
-
I did not read that into the OP at all... You are trying to make it so, but in reality they did not say that Trump and Musk lied. As i read it and listened. They actually stated they believe Trump and Musk do not lie and trust them 100%. So you are just twisting words again to make your quirk against Trump true.
