  1. WHAT'S THIS! Fake news for sure. Thailand does not have any sex workers. Just ask the government or police. They will tell you sure.
  2. This guy can not get more smeared than he already is. Using Bidens name to propagate foreign businesses whilst promising special favor using his family name. It really surprises me Pres. Biden has not been dragged deeper into this scandal since there was evidence he was in phone conversations and met investors for his sons activities to ensure he was aware of what was happening.
  3. She better get used to having her man finding younger women. She is Thai and should know the culture for Thai men here already. Well, maybe she will learn whilst serving her time in jail or handing out a hefty envelope to the victims family.
  4. Good thing he has all those people around him. He needs to be sure they are near enough to catch him when he falls over and dies. We all know he is that ill otherwise the prison board would not have granted his release for medical reasons.
  5. I think if he is booted out... He can repost everything and then a special one showing what the police did and their unwillingness to accept there are problems in the country that the world should see and know about. Unless his videos (which i have never seen) are making baseless claims or talking bad about the king. What law has been broken?
  6. Even with this margin Trump leads by far.. but I think the cases against him that seem to be witch hunts turned criminal are going to bite Biden in the as_. Especially the ones in Georgia and New York. Making Trump the Prez.
  7. Everyone is giving all these comments about warranties and fail to answer the OPs question... I will try. Have you ever seen Thais or heard them comment about going to the shop to service their vehicle? Most service done is when there is already a problem with the car. Hence, an extended service warranty would not be cost effective for the buyer. When I bought my Chevy, we ask the seller many questions about warranty information, all of which he had to look up, showing he knew nothing about the topic. I am sure this is prevalent for other sellers in the country. Thais do not consider maintenance relevant as shown in most everything. So why buy it or check about longer maintenance programs offered. Also, one other replier gave a good comment about the cost in using maintenance warranty. Even though they offer it, you still end up paying more than if taken to a different shop and having it done.
  8. They make it more dangerous themselves using their bodies to jump in front of people not stopping. I have seen them do this countless times and am very surprised more police are not killed this way.
  9. He will be fined and released most likely until the next time when he actually hurts someone for real.
  10. What policy is there to avoid red light areas? The only rule I know about for leave from a ship is to try and not congregate many sailors into one establishment. This way if it is targeted the military casualties are not so many to affect the ships performance. She is an idiot who knows nothing about who comes and what they do there. Or she is providing more lip service to the news. I am curious if there were many women waiting at the docks for the sailors to get off like it was in the old days. Hundreds of working girls waiting the men to offload the boats to choose them first. Kind of like what they still do at some hotels near soi 3 Nana in Bkk.
  11. You can.. or you can leave it and give them a mailing address to send it to you. I recently took this route. Dropped my passport off and they mailed me a new one. Took about 4 weeks to get it in the mail. But that was longer because they required specific information about my mom and father that I did not have and had to resubmit some information to them
  12. Haha what a crock. This case shows they actually became policemen and caught a fugitive. AS for the statute of limitations or being unable to use fleeing in this manner. It only shows the woman was poor. What about all the others with lots of money and/or influence that use the statute of limitations right in front of the police without hiding? Or flee and the police know where they are yet do nothing to worthwhile to capture them, Then of course there are those that flee and somehow persuade their captures to be released for extenuating circumstances most likely made up to circumvent their jail time.
  13. Another B.S. OP. Where is the hotel scam? If Booking.com was in error for the booking then it is not a scam. As stated in the OP.
  14. We all know who he is now. Some weirdo who buys an election hat for the wrong party. Then complains and states how he hates the man anyway but fails to explain why he bought it and especially why he wears it.
  15. In the USA a 13year old is too mature to make a life changing decision to have a tattoo done without the parents permission. So, i am curious why Thailand does not have laws for this also here to protect children from themselves by making laws for these types of things. This poor girl can never make a baby and from the sound of it she may even scare off any prospective man after seeing the damage done inside her if it is still visible when she matures.
  16. Paid 1000 a day should have been a sign to the father that something was amiss.
  17. am curious how many of these Thai owners of monkeys that are used to cut coconuts from the trees have permits to keep the monkeys.. Foreigners beware.. Do as I say but not as I do should be the motto for people coming into Thailand
  18. Agents can not help you... They can not even help anyone when it comes to US PASSPORTS or VISAs. The only thing an agent can do is help you fill in the forms and tell you what is required. You only have 2 choices.. Go to Bangkok Embassy or do the mail-in.
  19. So I have to call B.S. on this OP and on the Brits claiming they suffer financially now with this. Since the law to freeze those types of people specifically in those countries. The Brits complaining actually and knowingly put themselves into a position that is causing duress. That is 24 years this law was implemented. Surely the Brits did not move here expecting more than what was given by law then..
  20. Yes, but this is the Thai chance to bash another foreigner. I am curious if these people complaining know that when there is an injury in an accident that ALL rescue workers and Ambulance workers and Doctors tell people to never touch the victim or offer any assistance or they may inadvertently cause more sever injury instead of helping them.
  21. clearly you do not understand english... go back to school ok
  22. Look at it from their side... once tourist comes for 7 days... spends an average of 700 baht not including drinking or hotels.. times that by 1000. Then there is you the retiree. Going out only sometimes spending an average of 700 per week not including drinking and your rental or payment for a condo. Times that by 1000.. Which will put more money into the economy? You or the tourist? The foreigner living here is relaxed and does not go out every day spending money. The tourist goes out everyday to experience more in their short time here. You will always lose because the most money will always prevail in Thailand.
  23. You forgot to mention the man hit. Even when you cross a street at a crosswalk you should always be looking left and right to make sure you are safe. The man in the video did not once look. I am not trying to lay blame on the man hit... But the accident could have been avoided if he had bothered to look while crossing.
  24. I would think that there would be a way they had to show they were forced into providing this type of service as well as being kept prisoner and unable to leave before a claim could be made they were abused in any way. You seem to think nothing is needed for this. But let's say for example you go to happy ending massage place and the woman gives you the happy ending. I seriously doubt you are asking her age or if she can go out with you. Just as sure that when you went into the business those same massage girls were not in handcuffs or behind locked doors unable to leave. Clearly the owner made the choice to allow these young women to work there and profit from their services to the customers and even pay the police bribes to allow it all to happen. However I do not see innocence with the young women. I do not see them forced except as being told if they wanted to work there then providing sex services is a condition of employment. Apparently the police also did not see them as forced and kept there without their wanting to be there or there would be kidnapping and many other charges laid out against the shop owner. Yes, it is illegal. Yes, it is immoral. But to say it is abuse would be incorrect without any kind of proof. also if you look at the charges made.. They say nothing about kidnapping or confinement of the young girls. So they clearly wanted to do this type of work and collect a large amount of money for themselves and their families. So how is this abuse? Any customers who knowingly engaged in paying for their sex was wrong as well and should be prosecuted as well. But what about those customers who did not know or ask for sex specifically with a underage girl? Asking for proof of age when getting a massage when it is customary in these types of massage business for the woman to make them excited and then offer sex services without telling the man their age so it should not make him guilty as well. Usually a 15, 16, 17 or 18 year old Thai girl looks older when wearing street clothes. Even I myself have was surprised at the similarities to them compared to their wearing school clothes. Catch them on the street in a mall or something and they could easily pass for 24 or 25. They dress the part and act it as well.
