Besides, soon there should be another one but then it will be Thaksins fault for making his daughter do what he wants as PM. No-one wants the military to engage in coups. I would tend to agree with you. Although news outlets usually push the worst news to the front especially violent crimes it seems there are more killings and violent acts now compared to previously. Are the younger Thais now getting older and more brazen? When will Thailand step up and take the blame for how kids are taught not to be responsible for their actions? These types of acts will continue to increase in the future.

They need to make special sports events strictly for trans to compete against each other. This unfair practice of allowing trans to join the same ranks as women is ridiculous.. They are neither men anymore nor women.. So why allow them to claim being a women when their bodies are biologically that of a man. It is a completely unfair advantage. Even with hormone injections the male is superior to the female in athletics.

The OP fails to sa if they did these stunts on a open road causing any danger to the public or violating any traffic laws. Since none of those charges were addressed I fail to see why they were charged for the other things. Stunts should not be a crime unless endangering others. If people stop trying to challenge themselves in ways that may be dangerous. Then we as people become passive sheep waiting for the herder to give us things. There is no bravery. Also, I have seen in parades these types of stunts in the USA and China. Quite popular for fans of it to watch. It is an expensive lesson these kids learned this time. One I am sure they regret.

I know it will not happen. but this kids parents should be arrested and charged with allowing their child to be out so late without their presence. It is no wonder that lately teens are acting out, joining gangs, killing or injuring others when their parents take no actions to care and raise their kids and allow them to be out late without any repercussions or punishments. In the US, if your child does not go to school. The police can arrest the parent. If they are caught out late at night without the parents presence, the parents can be charged with neglect and lack of care over the child. Thailand needs to adopt some laws that ultimately make the caregiver responsibility over what they allow their child to do.

It is your choice to write something or not.. Getting it published is an entirely different story. Making it in a way that does not shame or show Thailand in a bad way is nearly impossible as a foreigner if you write things that are factual. Why don't you try instead making promotional leaflets for Thailand to their tourism ministry. There you can lie about all the good things and never worry TPD does not come knocking on your door in the future for something written showing Thailand in a bad way. I am most certain if i was to write about my time in Thailand. I would be arrested for pornographic written material and showing the unsavory side of Thailand to the world for sure. But, i would bet you have spent your time in a nice condo or house, travelling to nice places. Never really seeing Thailand for what is hidden from most tourists. So your opinion would be better for tourists and more believable by them as well..

I have yet to buy anything I can say is good quality from China. Not in 30 years... Cheaper yes. But not good quality that lasts.. The US needs to start making their own goods again of quality that they used to. Not being dependent on imported goods of lesser quality. People do not mind paying more if something is of value and the quality is worth making the purchase. The problem is and always has been that because 3rd world labor is cheap and manufacturing is cheap making it available for even the poor to buy. Those are the ones who will suffer when tariffs are given. Perhaps, if there are new opportunities for Americans to make their own quality goods again then the prices will be reduced and people around the world will begin to want American products again. But i do not see that happening for a long time. Instead prices may increase for the cheaper quality goods rather than people taking the opportunity to make their own high quality goods. Made in America no longer means good quality. Although, I think if something is made in America even with imported goods the quality is better than buying in Asia. Perhaps some of you do not know but what is sold in China to the Chinese is not the same quality as what is shipped out to other countries.

Also, if we are tax paying foreigners in Thailand why then do we have to pay double or triple for things just because we are foreigners? They should allow us the privilege to pay the same as Thai by showing a tax number or long term visa. Tourists can pay the double standards and be taxed accordingly for their purchases. It appears the government is trying to punish those of us living here, married here with families, or working here with yet another double standard. The country coffers must be drying up and this is their way to refill it. There are 2 other countries that have the taxation for income in and outside their countries. But they do not make you pay additional charges simply because you are a foreigner. Every person in the country is charged the same for things and services.

I am still curious about how this country can tax income that is earned and deposited overseas? If it is earned in another country then their respective banks would be reporting it to the local tax. But they can only do that because you signed releases to allow it when opening the account. Thailand banks may have new rules to make you sign a release so they can gain this information. But what about older accounts? Would anyone actually sign something new to allow them this authorization? None of my Thailand banks have my tax or income information other than receiving wire transfers from another country. If they request blanket permission to access my banks private information I would refuse and take my money from their bank. If they request access to my tax information from abroad I would not be able to give it since I never file taxes there. Un-taxable income is not required to file a tax return. So there is no record for them to check anyway.
