  1. may not will lead to a criminal investigation, but only if caught
  2. you could enter on a visa exempt entry(30 day stamp) and then either 1/ apply for a non immigrant visa ( 2,000thb )at local immigration office you will need 800,000 transferred from abroad in a bank account in your name only, money only has to be in the bank on the day of application, no seasoning required, which will give you a 90 day stamp, in the last 30 days and when the money in the bank has seasoned apply for a one year retirement extension (1,9000thb ) or 2/ apply for a 30 day extension if more time is required to get bank account sorted etc. (1,900thb) and then do as 1/ above no medical or police check is required at any stage. keep away from agents
  3. enjoyed the first few episodes looked hopeful, but then it got silly, so didn't watch anymore
  4. i don't think they are fake year visa's but i believe some yearly extensions are issued by immigration offices without all the requirements being fully checked
  5. not quite the same is it, ones a tourist location so should be easy,as they want the tourists and long stayers, the other two are a place where immigrants want to enter illegally
  6. op check medisafe via messenger the times i have checked Fascino were far from the cheapest, recently i needed to find some Ramipril 5mg, at a local pharmacy near to me they were 650thb for 30 tablets, on a trip down south i forgot my medicine and called into a pharmacy in Hua Hin 500thb for 30, i checked with fascino 750thb for 30, i was looking for a generic brand, all of the above pharmacies only had non generic brand, i contacted medsafe on messenger, generic version 585 for 100, delivered 2 days later for 40thb
  7. i would travel across to Savannakhet on arrival, skipping the overnight stay in Mukdahan, when in Savannakhet try Cafe Chez Boune Restaurant, really good food, is the Thai embassy Savannakhet issuing multi entry non imm 'O' thai wife visa's
  8. not quite correct, a Thai national living in Thailand can get a Uk state pension if she has contributed at least 10 years UK NI contributions being married or not doesn't come into it, but would make no difference, you would be correct for other benefits.
  9. i think that's a view shared by older UK drivers, and its well outdated, modern auto's are reliable, easy to drive, compared to the old 4 speed auto's of yesteryear
  10. arriving on the 5th October you would be stamped in visa exempt until the 3rd November
  11. No combination method for 'married' extensions
  12. you must be bring money in for monthly living expenses, so after the extension has been approved start using the 400,000 as monthly living expenses and then top up to the 400,000 2 months before re-applying the following year, you only need to keep the 400,000 in the bank for the seasoning period of 2 months, some IO require it to be there for the under consideration period, keep away from Agents.
  13. if you change the reason for the yearly extension the new extension will start on the day of application, not on the day after the current extension expires.
  14. anyone know the latest requirements for doing a 5year to 5 year licence renewal at pattaya DLT, i have done the online 1 hour video, ie having to book an appointment, doctor letter, immigration letter copies of passport etc. thanks
  15. easy /m pass are not specific to one car, so can be swapped around, the funds have no expiry date, easy pass can be topped up at 7/11 i don't think m pass can, all easy/m pass lanes are to the right hand side, but don't get confused with m-flow, which are the same colour blue and also on the right hand side, a camera reads the number plate, so keep out of these lanes, ( unless registered) each car must be registered with m-flow.
  16. what did you need for the renewal, did you have to book an appointment online
  17. joint accounts are no good for immigration purposes. but all banks will do a joint account, yes you could have 2 accounts
  18. I would think a lot of the ambulances are tied up doing house calls in place of the GP's who don't do it anymore, in fact the GP's don't like to see sick people anymore, but like the money they get for having the same people on their books
  19. did you organise it so that your extension will expire while you are out of the country, so you will have to start again on re-entry with a fresh non imm 'O'
  20. your local immigration office may have a solution over the phone, or by someone going on your behalf, i would stay clear of agents
  21. obtain a 60 day visit Thai wife extension 1,900thb this will give the 400,000thb time to season for the required 2 months, once seasoned apply for a yearly 'Married' extension another 1,900thb
  22. looks ok, just need some rule enforcement, which I'm not sure the Thai police are capable of
  23. yes sorry forgot the 60 day wife or children extension
  24. a single entry non 'O' can only be extended for one year, either 'marriage' or 'retirement' , no 30 day extensions
