  3. i read and reread this post and still don't understand what you are trying to get across.
  4. isn't your passport the only document you have that confirms your permission to stay in Thailand
  5. there is no problem in staying 3 months or in your case 2.5 months after the expiry date of the visa, an entry 1 day before the expiry date of the visa will allow (with an extension) this,
  6. you don't have to live here but many use agents to circumvent the financial requirements
  7. used it the 1st time yesterday, useful as i had to park it in the sun
  8. consider my a*se slapped for being a naughty boy
  9. sorry should i have posted being on a m/cycle. the post was generic to all the posts that appear on here about being on a m/cycle with either no insurance, or not being covered by the insurance they do hold, or not having a licence, i would think it was not a very good helmet or was unfastened, Koh Samui is high on the list of places for m/cycle crashes.
  10. same old same old, riding a m/cycle in Thailand without having the correct licence and or insurance to do so. she thought she was covered by her credit card.
  11. 7 years for cars, 5 for m/cycles
  12. so 2 shots covers for life time, that's a good vaccine
  13. have you tried pong nam ron, about 20km south, is it because they will not let you return due to too many entries
  14. work out the cost for both sets of flights, and if any is left, refund that amount, ie if they underpaid you for the 1st full fare flight by $100 and they overpaid you $110 for the latest flight then refund them $10 less your admin fee.
  15. the 800,000 has to be in your bank 2 months prior to the application, and 3 months after the extension is issued, it can then drop to 400,000thb for the remainder of the extension period. if in the 2nd year you want to change to monthly money income, you would have to leave the money in the bank until the new extension 2nd year is issued. this is to satisfy the requirements for the 1st year extension
  16. sorry was thinking of huawei
  17. xiaomi phones do not have google apps or play store
  18. not really the 45 VE entry is due to finish on the 31st march, so any VE entries after that will be 30 days, (unless extended)
  19. not sure how it feels like that to you, that's a ridiculous suggestion, there are far far cheaper options, you have mocked their efforts relentlessly
  20. that's why they are such bad drivers, and why Thailand has the road death toll it has. the best way would be to find a driving school and get the Thai licence from there, should start with a 2 year licence.
  21. have a look at centara and 'the splash', there are others close by, right on the beach see here - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/The+Splash+Koh+Chang/@12.0405117,102.294578,195m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m8!3m7!1s0x3104119e044ceef5:0x2aa232ec2cdc5e5c!5m2!4m1!1i2!8m2!3d12.039329!4d102.2957905 soory can not help with koh mak
  22. the transcript is from one of the people involved in the conversation
  23. i think you will find that the funds required (800,000thb) for a within country non imm 'O' visa for retirement as part of a conversion process, do have to come from abroad unless the funds have been in your bank account for a long period of time, likewise the 65,000 monthly income does also have to come from abroad, unlike the 40,000thb required for a 'married' yearly extension
  24. maybe because you are using oven chips, because that's the only way chips in an air Fryer will be as good as oil fried chips
