Actually its the EU that hasn't ratified the deal. But then when it takes 4 months to place an order for a vaccine it's not really surprising is it?
Incompetent fools. The house of cards is starting to creak. They better hope the wind doesn't blow. Le Pen might be the straw that broke the donkeys back.
UK-EU deal signed a long time ago by both parties. Its 2021 BTW. And $ strangely doing OK without Trump's antics, so time to buy some baht next week.

Yep, Project Fear was very powerful and had some very influential backers.
As it's gradually debunked, expect the gbp to head back towards 2016 levels by 2025.
The irony is that many of the people on TV relying on a strong pound for their pensions were the same ones trashing it with their project fear anti brexit rhetoric.
If I was American I'd say, Go Figure.
No-deal Brexiteers still looking to wreck the agreement if they can and cheering on the NI unionists to kick things off. Sterling holders always faced with whether to exchange cash now or risk the sourness happening. The Thai baht has its own set of problems so GBPTHB is in for an interesting ride.

worst performing ?
what does that even mean ?
In a country that relies heavily on exports and tourism it could be argued that it is performing very well - in fact
It is a fact
As it turns out it is probably performing the best when it comes to economic interests - maybe not so so good for the power that want to invest outside Thailand - maybe they should now redirect their money inward and invest in .......Thailand were they earned it
Worst performing probably means that the percentage decline of THBUSD compared to other regional currencies against the $ has been more.

GBP has gone down since the vote to leave the EU. Current recovery due to making a deal with the EU. No-deal Brexit would have sent it crashing again.

Only came here cos had to but as soon as I can get out I will , by hook or by crook . The Heathrow experience is an indication of what the UK has become , a country no longer inhabited by a majority of indigenous UK folk or that's how it feels . BTW there were quite a few UK Border Force staff hanging around doing nothing bar using their smartphones and I asked who is managing or supervising this immigration control to which the reply was with a shrug of the shoulders " Them over there ,other side of the check- in , UK Border Control ". Absolute joke .
Now the problem is how to leave the UK cos without a good reason you will be fined £5000 for attempting to leave the country even if you are not at the airport , ( could be on the way to the airport and if challenged by police ). Hopefully restrictions will be lifted soon and I will buy a one way ticket out of here .
Until you need the NHS and then its back to Heathrow and into the queue again!

OK, so I read above that the electronic gates are now closed at Heathrow. How about Fast Track? Is that still operational?

I really can't see the point of wanting to return to the UK and walk straight into that nonsense. I have a ticket for July but increasingly doubtful I will be on that plane.

I have used used following websites for BTC

You should use Thai visa for recommendations, NOT step by step user guides.
Do your own independent due diligence for ANY financial company.
My personal recommendation is BlockFI, read up about them, research them and then decide.
Do NOT use ANY Broker, absolutely no need.
Remember to risk whatever you can afford to lose, that’s it nothing fancy or special
Etoro. They also do Forex.

Sounds like the buyer has, due to circumstances, over-extended himself and hoping the financial situation will improve doesn't sound like a good plan. If the business is under pressure then holding on to cash better. Probably best to surrender the half million rather than getting in deeper. And start the process now. Not a good idea to spend the next 4+ months delaying and worrying. All IMHO. (The developers might still grant an extension to hold on to the sale, but really, is it worth sinking that money this year?)

People who insist on telling you they are "so happy" rarely are. More like a state of being blissed out at a Full Moon Party. And then something upsets them and its a war zone in their company.

The only safe place for a cyclist is probably the pavement where they can knock over some pedestrians.

Somebody said ask how many hours of teaching expected. We are not talking here about a P/T job paid by the hour, but presumably a tenured full-time job with a certain number of contact hours same as other equivalent staff. Given that classes need to be prepared, stick that into one's calculations. Once one has the necessary qualifications your first job is to respect yourself. 30K is not a starting point.

Never mind the probation malarkey, you are a qualified teacher. If they want a qualified teacher, your salary request is 50k per month. Starting. Plus annual review.

Google photos does it all.
Whether using Google Photos or any other Cloud service, once one begins saving data and images to the Cloud, then the process of transferring files from one piece of hardware to another becomes redundant. However, if one is still using an old model camera (not phone) without wi-fi then using an appropriate cable to download to the PC is unavoidable. It is still better even then IMHO to move everything to the Cloud. Unless you think they're out to get you of course.

I don't want a vaccine. I hope they don't make it compulsory.
Once a vaccine is made generally available, then the question will be whether visa renewal or even 90 day check-in is linked to such. And also requirements for air travel.

Are there no Monthly or Quarterly audits carried out at KTB ?
That is assuming that the monies in this project went through the bank. If not, then how were the dodgy bank books updated by the accused assistant manager?

I'm not sure if being a Britain's Got Talent judge puts one exactly into an elite category. Maybe for a few excited Red Top newspaper readers.

The three universities you shortlisted are New Universities. They will "do the job" so to speak, but if you have the opportunity to take an MA at UCL, which is a member of the Russell Group of unis and towards the top of recognised international university league tables, then your CV is enhanced and also an asset further down the career road. This is longer term preparation and not just improving teaching skills for the immediate future.

You are correct. Are you actually expecting something to happen or not happen that impacts the sterling exchange rate?
