Late 80's, early 90's, mostly on the Riviera, I was a wide-eyed teenager. It was special to me.
Subsequent visits have been very disheartening, especially Paris.
Every country's history is complicated. The Roman Empire had many shameful aspects, but few would deny the glory of their high points. Likewise, France added something unique and wonderful to the world.
It strikes me that the people who get so caught up with modern re-interpretations of the colonial period are blind to all the good that was done. Again, terrible things happened, but wonderful things happened too. Of course, the modern Twitter mob lacks the attention span necessary to appreciate masterpieces, symphonies, and architectural wonders.
Yes but, on the other hand, in general the French have excellent spelling and grammar ????
Didn't help either, unless they were writing we surrender.

So Thailand can learn from this situation. Less deaths at Songkran and New Year just ban cars and bikes from the road.
Thousands of lives saved. No brainer!
What a good idea,i am sure if you carry on in this vein you will be up for poster of the year.

One doubt's the gangster filth calling themselves Muslim,in southern Philippines-Abu sayaaf will do the same,no doubt they will see it as an opportunity why the President is busy shooting drug user's and curfew violaters he seems to have done little to curb there activities

Regardless of his politics,he is a human being,i wish him a speedy recovery. Watching Doctor Vong's video was instructional and terrifying,as you may know i asked my gf to spend at least 10 days at her mothers house as she is going to her uncles 4 day gan sop and funeral,he was a popular guy and no doubt many people will have come from all over to attend, well you all know Thai women, she is 40 and carried on like a 14 year old,Thai not get,eat chilli ect. Rather like the two posters who's bickering on here made my duels with yeah siam, when he was on here, seem like a tea party.
So let us all spare a moment to reflect on the terrible suffering this disease is causing, not just for the poor souls who catch it but for the many who have lives and buisness ruined by it,instead of stupid arguments wether some one is on a ventilator or not.

I'll tell you what is wrong with me- don't have a dog, don't have a garden, don't have a GF, don't get cooked breakfast or dinner.
Life's easy when you've got it all.
Okay,i have a solution, get one of those battery powered ,dogs,a blow up doll, and a heap of microwave meals,as for the garden well can you not grow something in pots?

I thought that the English language summary shown was good.
The explanation about mask types was helpful - should any supplies materialise around here.
As for showering when you return home and washing your clothes frequently - yes - but the village in which I live has had no tap water for over a week now. I have a tank and a cistern, but when they run dry that is it.
dig a bore,no town water here for 2 months,or surely you can get a water truck to deliver?

No doubt they will also burn anything they can find,as the virus does not like smoke.
