  2. Hey, I've got this friend (Thai lady) she hasn't seen her husband/boyfriend for 3 years. He stills sends her a bunch of money every month. Anyone else out there can beat that?
  3. Hey there's a thought, the only problem is I hate cats just as much as I hate pigeons
  4. I would like to buy a BB gun in Pattaya. Got a big problem with pigeons (rat with wings) Any info would be great ????
  5. My girlfriend has a pig farm in Isaan. She can accommodate 100 pigs but she prefers buy 50 at a time. She would like to expand her business, building another shelter to house another 100 pigs (total 200) I've asked for her business figures, expenses/outgoings etc but she is vague, saying pig food cost 75000 Baht every month or so, vaccinations for each pig etc., she then sells the piglets once they grow up 100kg. Anyone out there involved with pig farming or similar? Can reply with figures for such a business? Cheers
  6. I'm back to normal, 100% Looking forward to my 2nd jab next month
  7. A few days ago I was at Rattanakorn market on Theprasit, I bought 4.5kg of dragon fruit from the 1st vendor on the right as you ride in the building (opposite temperature test station on the left). The dragon fruit weighed over the weight on their digital scales by 0.75kg as I weighed them when I got home 3.75kg. It's not a big deal just thought I'd pass this on to other members. Just out of curiosity I weighed 4kg of mangoes I bought from another vendor, it weighed spot on 4kg.
  8. I got my 1st Pfizer shot a week ago, I've been waking everyday with a mild head ache. My arm was sore for 3 days where the needle penetrated. Anyone else with issues?
  9. Wow, you guys still look so sad
  10. Why do you both look sad? Hope you are both happy now!!
  11. Don't be too concerned, they are well looked after. Regular food deliveries by nice people that care. This is probably why Pattaya has so many homeless, we have too many nice people here. Most are from other provinces, other parts of Thailand. They choose to stay here for the benefits.
  12. Rules in Thailand change super quick. As of Sep 2021 you cannot get an unsecured cr card without a WP. I am telling the current rules not what you did many years ago. My first credit card was issued around 2008, at the time my monthly salary would swing, from a little under 500,000 to a little over 500,000 baht per month, depending on where in the world the rig was located and what bonus my company paid for that country. I reckon if I was needing a Thai credit card today, did not have a Thai WP, I was still getting the above salary and could produce my pay slips I would be given a Thai credit card. Saying that, your bank manager needs to perform (she was assistant bank manager back then) you get a lazy bank manager they probably wont make the effort.
  13. You said..........Thai WP is mandatory Read my previous post, my original Platinum Credit card from Kasikorn Bank was issued when I was on a Tourist Visa. I have read a couple of other comments from members stating they had no WP and have been issued a credit card.
  14. A few years ago I ordered a refrigerator form Lazada. The Lazada vendor sent me a different fridge to what I ordered, different make and size.. I went into my Kasikorn branch, the service staff at Kasikorn were very helpful, I filled out the complaint form and a few weeks later I was refunded in full.
  15. Why is D.O.B. required, your age should be adequate. With these hackers so active, I'm concerned this personal information may be leaked.
  16. Nope, I have had a few credit cards from Kasikorn, 2 for myself and a spouse. No work permit. It was more that 10 years ago, nothing to do with working in Thailand, I had no work permit. Actually I only came in on a Tourist visa as my rotation was 28/28, My monthly offshore salary was quite high, at the time I was bringing it all into Thailand. Its all about how much money you have with them. I also have a safety deposit box with Kasikorn, I heard this is out of the question for Foreigners. I never see another foreigner in the banks vault section where the safety boxes are located, only Thais waiting.. I had a very good relationship with my bank manager, she would try extremely hard at times to help me get these items, I never thought of it at the time but she was outstanding, the things I have today foreigners just cant get. What's even more amazing I only came in and out on a Tourist visa.
  17. I've had a Kasikorn credit card for more than 10 years, wasn't working in Thailand at the time so my offshore salary was irrelevant.
  18. That is exactly what you did, but in reverse. The Porsche Cayenne that I compared with was not the base model, it was 7.5M Baht You can buy a new Porsche Cayenne for 6M Baht. Why are you annoying me with your ridiculous comments?I found this article for you ''The ‘Poor Man’s Porsche’: Explained', read it, get educated, the Cayenne made this document. https://www.torquenews.com/9900/poor-man-s-porsche-explained
  19. Another Troll, Why make nonsense comments You are quoting the top model Porche Cayenne and the base model Porche 911 Look at the website posted earlier, sort by "lowest to highest price" cheapest Porches are Cayenne's, there's several under 1M baht If you are a Porche guy, you know the Boxster's and Cayenne's are the cheaper Porche models. https://www.one2car.com/en/cars-for-sale/porsche?sort=price.asc
  20. A Porche priced at 7.5M baht is a poor mans Porche when 911's are selling 24M baht. Why bother making a comment You trying to antagonize? https://www.one2car.com/en/for-sale/porsche-911-turbo-s-bangkok-metropolitan-rama-iii-sathon-rama-iv/8011452
  21. OMG, that's gone up 2004 I had my first child, delivered Bangkok Pattaya hospital and the package price was 30,000 baht. They gave me he same package price on my second child a couple of years later.
