in your home country, what is the mandated  age were one must re-test to keep the licence ?

Yes, Thailand is very different to Australia. That's why we choose to live here.

I see too many grown adults arrive here as children, these guys riding scooters.

Probably never ridden a motorbike back in their home country, riding without helmet, DUI, speeding.

Some of these child like adults are elderly guys, this is why we are seeing so many elderly fatalities.

why not force drivers over the age of 70 to undergo a new driving test?

What a rediculous suggestion, you're just going make the competent, well adjusted elderly road user to suffer. The DLT is not the most user friendly place to visit.

I've had a license here since 2003, it's hot and cold, but one thing I've noticed over the years it's getting to be a horrible place to visit, the place has changed and rightly so, because as I have always said, the people coming here have changed.

We need to educate the elderly that are struggling with their ability to ride the roads here in Thailand.

Please, if your having doubts don't ride the bike, take the car or get a lift, if you get hurt or hurt others everyone suffers

Safety on bikes is how you drive them, not your age.

    Yes I agree.

Unfortunately the majority of these elderly scooter riders are juveniles and shouldn't be on the roads.

Again and again we are seeing these elderly riders in accidents causing death. Too bloody often

Sad thing is we will see many comments from these elderly riders that think they know better.

I comment regularly on this subject and get a lot of hate comments because of my anti elderly rider comments.

Reposting to correct two typos and to try and clarify the 2 confused people. Hope they see this lol

Having been in a tractor towing an aircraft before where the "pin" or coupling broke we kept driving after the separation of the tug from the aircraft. Once we were a safe distance from the aircraft it is then common practice to signal the pilot or "brakeman " if towing for maintenance purposes to brake if they have not already done so.

Poorly trained ground handling staff and very unlucky.

Why were they towing an aircraft after landing. They normally taxi to the stand or gate.

Only in noise abatement areas like Heathrow is this practice done i.e. towing an aircraft immediately after it has landed. Then only done if they land before a certain time ie 6am is this done.

Does Bangkok have noise abatement? I don't think they do.

RIP To the poor fellow that lost his life

    Post above says

The plane was being towed from its remote overnight stand along taxiway K

The Burapa bike show is the best on the planet.

Been going for many years, lots of dangerous stunts etc but no-one got hurt.

Its going the same way as Australia, no booze.

Probably bound to happen, people are changing, always complaining if they injure themselves if they do something stupid, like that girl that got her face burnt drinking that flaming Vodka.

My platinum (K bank) is a fair chunk more than that.

I have a platinum card and a premier card with Kasikorn Bank.

Both these cards came with 200k limit.

I don't understand how a Thai on an average monthly income can have a credit card with a 500k limit

Has this debt accumulated on just the 1 card?
