  1. Just got a letter from my daughters schools (International) saying they want to have a rehearsal for re-opening onsite on Monday 29th Nov. We have to take a video of my daughter doing a ATK Covid test, send the video to school and carry pictures of her doing the test. I asked the school where we pick up the test kits from and the response was to go to a pharmacy and pay ourselves. Is this what every school is doing? I find it hard to believe that every family will be able to afford to pay for these kits themselves (don't know how much they are). Surely these should be provided FOC by the Gov if it is their insistence on the kids having the tests
  2. This weekends game is one of those rare occasions I want United to win........... but I can't see it happening
  3. Oh no. Here we go again ????????
  4. Apparently Ole said United will win the PL next year as he says the 2 times he left Molde they won the league the next year, so he thinks he's a good luck omen. Beyond laughable, Does he still believe in Oden or something
  5. That's probably because Ronnie has pushed Penandez out of prime conning diving position
  6. Quite an interesting perspective here from Paul Merson. He reckons Ronaldo's arrival threw Ole's plans out of the window Paul Merson: Cristiano Ronaldo signing messed up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United plan | Football News | Sky Sports
  7. Tis you whom I think is the pedant. Not once did I say ours was as bad as Liverpool's list. I merely mentioned ours seemed to be growing as well, which was more of a moan at the international's more than anything. It appears you seem to like to just jump on stuff I post merely for the sake of it. We don't appear to get on, so best to give each other a wide birth I think.
  8. So much for you checking. You said:- Well Grealish wasn't fit and didn't play or make the bench. KdB couldn't play either
  9. I'm not so sure. He doesn't work hard enough for me but what else has changed from last year. This isn't the same team as last year and yet he is the only really big change
  10. Honest summary there Chippy Serious question. Ronaldo is without doubt a top footballer but do you reckon he has caused some of this? Ole got lambasted last time he dropped him, so he's scared to death of dropping him now.
  11. TBH I think I could do better with that team. Blimey, I think even Rick could ????
  12. IMO, as I said in another post, it feels like a temporary appointment. If both parties are happy with it then that's fine
  13. I certainly hope you're right and they will be fit to play but the points I made above are still extant
  14. Everyone said Pep would only be with us for 2 years. To me, it just sends out a "this is a temporary" appointment but if everyone is happy. Sobeit
  15. Well that's a nice way at looking at the relationship with a new manager. Bit like getting married but because your wife has been married before you insist an a pre-nup cos you reckon it won't last
  16. Irrelevant in today's game. A few million here and there is nothing but a write off. Spurs I think are still having to pay Mourinho 15 million quid and Nuno 14 million quid after sacking them
  17. Since Conte arrived at Spurs there have been several appointments in the PL. All more than 2 years, I keep my stance that 18 months for Conte shows no commitment Aston Villa - Stevie Gerrard 3 and a half year deal Newcastle - Eddie How 2 and a half year contract Norwich - Dean Smith 2 and a half year contract
  18. Couldn't agree more. No respect for the clubs who pay these players wages and turn them into the players they are. The international managers just reap the rewards of their domestic clubs training regimes
  19. You mean in the same way Rashford played for England and then had the operation after the Euro's? Players constantly play carrying injuries and on pain killers etc. It usually comes back and bites later and no doubt it'll be when we need him the most. Also, he hasn't been the same this season and most reckon it's cos he's been playing through it
  20. Instead of trying to be a smart a** check the facts. Ferran Torres injured in the last international break and hasn't played since Bernardo SIlva. Injured muscle and didn't play the first game. Came off early the second game complaining of something probably related. KdB, playing through the pain on meds. Will come back and bite him/us Jack Grealish returned from the England camp after the last first game Cole Parmer an hamstring injury Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo both left out of Portugal first game but brought back for the second. Mahrez may also have an injury as he is Algeria's best player but had to come on from the bench. Probably playing through pain
