It's hard to get the whore out of a woman and it's the same with a bar girl... the ease of money and the lack of commitment as well as the partying all the time is hard to forget. Not to mention that sex becomes dull and abstract for her. Even in a relationship it would be almost the same as work before.A whore by any other name is still a whore
and nothing wrong with being a 'whore' if you want to be. Time we got over this antiquated notion of sex, people do it all over the world. If some want to sell it, then good on them.
It isn't the 1800s any more.
No, Apart from the health risks and physical risk of meeting a nutter not to mention the psychological damage it can do. Most bar workers have to get drunk or take drugs to get through the night with disgusting men that they hate.

Until I see a report released by the USA this news is just propaganda. Thais make so many claims about what others say and do yet, for the most part, are never proven or substantiated by the respective country or agency that makes it hard to believe. Should it be true then perhaps Thailand's efforts on combating this problem are finally yielding some results.
-
Maybe some are not proud of that, but for most of them it is mai pan rai !That is going to be a task and a half finding enough content. Most of the news is filled with acts of violence which I know the Thai people are anything but proud of.

What a crock! This girl claims she repents yet and says women doing this can not find love yet, at the same time, claims her customer has become her boyfriend? It would seem that anyone who actually read her story would be encouraged instead of discouraged into finding a man with money and a possible future with one of her customers.

What a shame that parents here dispense their children upon others with the hopes that they would be loved and cared for the same as the parents would do themselves. A tragedy such as this should be an eye opener for those irresponsible parents who have done this with their own kids. RIP to the little girl. I am sure she is not suffering anymore as she did with that family. It begs to wonder if that man did the same to his own child or if this happened just because it wasn't his own.

I don't know how many.. but those guys were supposed to explain it to the people, not tell them to vote for it. I think the problem is they don't understand it themselves and the only way to save face is to push it on the peopleDon't be surprised if this thing gets up and approved, My wife told me this morning the village had a meeting yesterday and the people were told by head man and local gov't workers to vote for the draft, no info about it, just vote it.
How many other villages have had this happen?

Why warn them? If they already know what is wrong to do by the gov here. Then they should just be arrested and detained.. show the world that they don't have the freedom to express their dissent about this new constitution. .. not that it matters anyway! Most of those parties would reject any constitution that they didn't write for their own benefit. And they surely wouldn't adhere or follow any constitution that was even written by themselves if they were in power.
Whether the constitution is good or bad? It won't change that the army and P will remain in the background controlling everything and possible everyone
P has already stated that once a new leader is elected that he will remain in the background.
I honestly don't see any point in making this constitution. It won't change anything and will only make it look like they have a democratic society again, even though it would be a facade. .

So by calling this a crackdown doesn't it infer that these type of actions are not normally done on a daily basis? Or is someone trying to make that NOW? All of a sudden? Pattaya is out catching criminals for a short time?

I don't think so! This problem is instilled by the schools and their Thai teachers...I think the problem may start outside of school, maybe in the home and upbringimg.
I don't think the Education dept has any chance of fixing this problem on their own.
BTW! Last year an initiative was ordered that if your students fight with another schools students then the school will be held responsible. I believe fines and closures both temporary and permanent were laid out.
Unfortunately, the first time they tried to impose this action became the last time they tried. Parents schools and teachers should be taking responsibility for this as well as the individual student. All need to be held accountable.

Heheee surely up are not comparing your comment to Thailand? Highly trained?People in the UK are constantly shocked, surprised and offended that they are actually expected to pay for complex medical care involving the use of highly trained staff and specialist equipment and facilities.
One wonders how we got to this point.

In the US power cuts following wind storms are quite common because the power lines are above ground. Compare with Germany where all the lines are buried and power cuts are apparently unknown. This is what happens when a rich country decides to neglect its common commitment to infrasctructure of which the power lines are only one example among many.
Germany is both relatively small and quite wealthy. Both are relevant factors when "A new 138 kV overhead line costs approximately $390,000 per mile as opposed to $2 million per mile for underground (without the terminals)." http://www.elp.com/articles/powergrid_international/print/volume-18/issue-2/features/underground-vs-overhead-power-line-installation-cost-comparison-.html
Add to that another factor, Thailand has frequent localised and general flooding due to its climate.
That's a point for Wyoming perhaps. But the sections of the US that are far wealthier than the average and have high-population density, like the Northeast, still have all the power lines above ground, except for major cities.
How about that US education scores at the bottom of the OECD countries, way below Germany, Finland, and South Korea, none of which is as rich as the US? Or the US healthcare system that weighs in at number 37 in the UN scorecard below Slovenia?
The polarization of wealth in the US, i.e. the class war, has put a priority on abandoning the public good.
Not only am I NOT american with very little interest of that country, I was talking about Thailand. Which is what we tend, or at least try, to do on TVF.
BTW besides cost, there are quite a few other reasons why above ground transmission cables are a better choice, most of which might be difficult to understand without qualifications in that field.
Congratulations on your nationality and your lack of interest in the US. As an American myself I sometimes feel obliged to point out the narrow-mindedness of know-it-alls like Gates who enjoy comparisons that favor rich America over vastly poorer Thailand.
I am interested to learn from someone with expertise the advantages of above-ground power lines and why the Germans are apparently not aware of them.
One would think that money doesn't mean having knowledge in a certain field however, just as you have voiced your opinion, Gates is entitled to voice his. Narrow mindedness seems to be one of your attributes as well. The fact is that the way Thais do their electric wiring is a hazard to the general public. In some places you even have to duck to avoid them touching your head. They cut wires and leave them unprotected. In the rurals, the farmers refuse to allow the electric company to cut trees that are possible hazards during storms. Their was and continues to be no forethought or planning when cables and wires are setup. They constantly mix phone, electric, and cable TV wires together haphazardly.

You were better off not buying it from them anyway! I made that mistake and got a cheap piece of crap that lasted about a month. When I tried to get their help in returning and replacing it, I found that was extremely difficult to do and ultimately I never got their help or my product replaced.I agree that it can be difficult navigating through Lazada, I gave up trying to buy a carcam as I couldn't work out if they included an SD card and if so, which one, and if not, can I buy one (which one?) from them? In addition the problem mentioned above just put me off trying to use them again.

Hehee they want to wait for the DSI to handle this because the DSI just sits in their buttstock allowing that monk to make a mockery of them. Clearly if they encroached on the land that it is not the DSI duty to reclaim that land.

Heheh maybe not such a good guy as the brother thinks. This doesn't sound like a simple robbery to me.

It was a simple typo and I meant 2.2 trillion... also you are mistaken as well as I was. That figure of 1.7 trillion is an expected number for the whole year as stated in the article. Also, if you go by the numbers in the past few years, the money has reduced almost 400 billion compared to the years when Yl was in office. I believe the latest year she was in office they quoted the tourist dollars at 2.1 trillion for that year. So how is that an increase??
Today's prediction is 1.71 Trillion dollars. So how is that a drastic reduction from 2.2 billion??Wasn't TAT quoting only a month ago that they would meet or exceed 2.2 billion tourist dollars? With such a drastic loss in tourist dollars compared to previous years, can they really claim they now have their quality tourists. I guess all of those Chinese tourists just aren't spending what TAT expected.
Not sure where the 2.2 billion comes from. The article says that 1.71 is an increase of 17.83 %. The article also says they expect will be spending less but if tourists increase 13.35% and revenue 17.83% that means more revenue per tourist.

If they are mislead because they fail to understand this then they should not be voting on it at all. Their is also some concern that they are telling people to only look at the major items and not the details. This leaves too many unknowns that they are not wanting to disclose openly to the public.

Instead of them assuring themselves and others about what they think the UN is understanding about, why don't they just ask the UN so they would know for sure. This article is just a propaganda without an actual comment from the UN

I didn't know Thai exports were considered a luxurious good? In the USA anything imported from China or Thailand was always cheap costs and quality and surely not a luxurious item to be sought after.

Now I understand why you use the name Grumble weed.1. She does NOT cheat on me
2. She does NOT lie to me
3. She does NOT tell me to shut up
4. She does NOT call me stupid
If I used that criteria I'd never get laid

I am having about the same problem. The notifications isn't loading from my phone which in turn means I can not look at any recent news from where I am subscribed to.
I uninstalled TV and reinstalled it again and then cleared the cache in my phone. I emailed the support and they told me to do the same thing. When I told them I had done all that, they said there was nothing they could do.
As much as I like the ease of accessing the local and regional news, the site is extremely time consuming to navigate to find that now the way it is. Unreasonably so. They should have a link to their homepage in the mobile app or some other means to access my news rather than the unread or subscribed to link.
BTW! This has only been happening the last 2 weeks. Prior to that it worked perfectly.

I'm sure they will review all the ATM vdo and assess exactly who could be so stupid to leave their money sticking out of the machine. They will hunt the man down so he can get his money.
