Despite the suspension, Paetongtarn will retain her position as Minister of Culture, which is not affected by the current proceedings.

This is exactly why she took over as Minister of Culture rather than allowing another person to do it as happens normally. She knew she would be taken out as PM. But now she still has a foot in the door

Possibly… though I did frequent Amsterdam (where the weed is very potent too) a lot in my younger years and I don't recall such incidents occurring. Maybe the heat is also a contributing factor…

yeah... in Thailand people try to use the cannabis as an excuse. Weed, no matter the potency, will not make these people do the things they have been doing. There is some other cause either mental or another type of drug being induced.

Weed tends to create a more euphoric sense then an aggravated one. Passive, not hostile.

What an absolute load of rubbish, the average Chinese likely to visit Thailand as a tourist wouldn't have a clue about this so-called actor and supposed scam - - it's just more nonsense from TAT trying to cover their ar&e for the falling number of Chinese tourists.

I think you are incorrect. My friend in China says it is all over Chinese media and social apps and there are many cancelling their travel plans to Thailand. This guy is not the only one in less than a week to be coerced or kidnapped to go out of Thailand. 2 others just 2 days ago as well.

  4. Biden is currently allowing his admin to do whatever they want in regards to the wars happening currently. Even sending nukes to Ukraines and instigating the possibilities of increasing the war there to become nuclear.

He is also making a list to protect all the real crooks from any kind of violations of law to grant them immunity before Trumps people use their tactics against them by prosecuting B.S. using the law systems as a political weapon. Biden is running scared for himself and all those who abused the system and made them political weapons to prevent Trump from ever running for Prez again...

are you really that lost that you dont understand a time line? Feb 2024  was this year well into his Presidency.

Are you so lost not to see that since that time... He has lost anything he had previously?

For crying out loud! The man just fell asleep at a meeting while in a summit meeting in Africa... https://www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/biden-falls-asleep-angola-summit-b2659294.html

He has been found lying to the public about many things. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/list/?category=&ruling=false&speaker=joe-biden

He lied about not giving his son

    https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2024/12/5/papa-biden-is-a-liar-and-american-justice-is-a-lie

These things and more have made him the worst president ever.

  6. Was the jet ski owned and operated by the police? Why would the police involve themselves in pulling a jet ski out of the water unless they were paid for freelancing this job? I my country a policeman can aid something like this only if it is an emergency and their intervention can save someone but it is illegal for them to use a police car for personal gain or in a manner like this unless it is support for their own equipment. . But I am not sure about Thailand in this regard.

Do they? Every time you use the toll they run out of the office to your passenger side to catch you for not having a license? Really??

I have been driving here for close to 30 years and I have been taken aside at a toll booth once and that was because I was speeding prior to the toll and they had radioed ahead.

You must be mega unlucky to have them running at you every time you use the tollway. Poor you - the only guy in Thailand that this happens to.

not every time... but enough to see the pattern.. i go to Bangkok about once a month... lately it has been more... Driving from the south... But it has happened to me on several tollways.... Usually i am driving with the window down so i can smoke comfortably. So probably the cameras see me prior to arriving at the tollbooth... .. It does not change the fact that it has happened to me 4 times in the past 2 months though... Funny for me because I have a thai permit.. When they know this they walk away head down..

Or just stop this checkpoint nonsense once and for all. Static checkpoints are probably the least effective method for routine enforcement of traffic laws - other than just staying inside the police box and never coming out onto the road at all, which is the most popular strategy here...

They were supposed to stop already... Almost 2 years ago the National police chief ended checkpoints. But it must have hurt a lot of police income. So in Feb they allowed it again with stricter rules supposedly. I guess getting caught on cam and publicized was not one of their guidelines for the checkpoints they set up now....

Everytime I take the tollway, I get stopped by the police when i am paying the toll. I have seen them run from the office on the left to my car just to try to catch me driving without a Thai permit. Luckily, I have one.

It arrives timely to coincide with the Christmas holidays, the period in which the greatest number of travelers to the West and within Christian countries is recorded, and just in time for the inauguration of the second Trump administration.

Only this time the Chinese got smarter. They chose Africa to disseminate the virus.

Of course, I don't have a shred of evidence and it's just conjecture. But QAnon is already fabricating gathering evidence, and we will hear about it soon.

Am curious about this also... I recall reading. last week abouta the Chinese sending people there to talk with about trade and other benefits recently?

When i came to Thailand, 25 years ago, there was a woman in the remote village of my girlfriend in Chaiyaphum who offered loans to the farmers.
The farmers who were entitled to these loans had young daughters or young sons.
Many farmers were unable to pay back these loans and the woman "proposed" them to send their daughter or their son with her to Pattaya and go work there until the loan was payed.

Good point.. also, I know some guy in Pattaya who owned a gogo bar.. He told me as well as others that the bar mamasan was always going north to recruit girls to come work in the sex industry. The girls would get all kinds of promises about just being a barmaid. But once there and seeing the other young women selling themselves out for the night and their peer pressure to make more money that way is all too enticing.

It strikes me that this story is going a lot to blame just the 2 young women when most likely they did the same as the mamasans in pattaya going to find young girls wanting work and offering them jobs but then upon seeing the money they could make between their legs opted for the bigger and better deal.

I am in no way condoning any of this. But those girls left their homes.... families allowed it. so some kind of promises were made to the girls and families to allow this to happen.

As for the Chinese men, i hope they find each and every one and castrate them...

From your previous comments about immigrants in your country and mine I thought you were fine with discrimination?
    No?

    Yes they do.

International Student Tuition CostFor international students in the U.S., the cost total of attendance is high – much higher than it is for domestic students. Generally, attending school in the U.S will cost between US$10,000 and US$55,000 per year.

You are confused... the cost of anyone who does not go to the university in their own state is also charged this higher fee. Not only for international students.
