Of course you wouldn't see as they are all on East side of Sukhumvit. All checkpoints are working.

According to treetops there is at least one checkpoint on Suk as well.

Some offices also require the Kor Ror 2, which is 20 baht at the amphur office.

Under normal circumstances, you are allowed one 60 extension per entry, irreverent of visa type.

Under present situation, it's not clear yet if you can have more than one.

"Some offices also require the Kor Ror 2, which is 20 baht at the amphur office."

That would be very inconvenient as they've just locked down Pattaya and the office is outside that area.

OK, so one extension for every 90 days period is allowed. Good to know.

I didn't even consider that. Hopefully they will either sort out some kind of exception or open the borders for out-and-ins again.

  3. I have a 1 year multiple entry Non-O based on marriage and my 90 days period runs out soon. I know I can apply for a 60 day extension to visit family and to ensure I have all the required docs I will list them and ask you guys if it's correct:

    Copies and/or original:

-Passport (main page, TM card, visa page, entry stamp)

    -Marriage certificate

    -Passport photos - 2 pcs.

    -My wife in person

-TM 7 form "APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY STAY IN THE KINGDOM"

    Copies:

    -Wife's house book

    -Wife's ID card

A follow up question: Is there any limit to the number of 60 days extensions I can apply for during a 1 year visa validity period?

It most surely is illegal to pump from mains (was often done 30 years ago - a lot of soapy water to drink as other homes had hose in wash tubs).  He said mains will not fill his tank so only real alternative other than buying would be to have tank underground so filling at ground level.  An alternative would be making a sump and using a small pump to get into tank.

I used to have two composite/plastic(?) tanks buried underground but they both cracked so had to get an overground one again. The underground tanks were a much better solution as water flowed a lot more easily and often.

As the ejector ideas apparently is illegal I'll modify the gutter to utilize what little rain there is to replenish the tank.

Install a tank and a pump.

Every house I have lived in in thailand has had this set up.

Have the tank filled once and have mains feed keep tank full with a ball valve.

I have that already, that's why I said "The pressure in the water mains is too weak to supply my tank".

  6. The pressure in the water mains is too weak to supply my tank and will remain so in the foreseeable future and paying 300 Baht for muddy water every 5 days is an inconvenient and unappealing option.

I wonder about using and air driven ejector to suck the water from the mains into my tank and would like to ask if anyone has tried this possible(?) solution?

  7. The hot season is here with a vengeance and my A/C units need dome TLC. If anyone can recommend a good service company that can come and do the needed please let me know:thumbsup:

    What is wrong with it?

I normally just buy a new one.......but TukCom South Road, 4th floor (floor above PowerBuy)....as you come off the escalator look to the left he will sort it

Only snag is carrying it there....

It's (one of) the "wheels" that feed the paper into the printer. I have a Canon Pixma which is not more than a couple of years old and since I just replaced the ink cartridges with original ones (you can only refill so many times) I thought I'd try to have it repaired.

Guess I'll head for Tukcom then.

    You mean afterfire?

A common cause of afterfire is from running rich (too much fuel going into cylinders), or faulty ignition possibly a fouled (dirty) spark plug, coil, or plug wire.

I was not familiar with the term but after googling it I guess it fits. Been filling 95 gasohol on it the whole time so I guess it probably is the ignition system.
