You've called that wrong. It wasn't AI that came up with the figure. Investigate further and feel free to report back.
That's why I said the figure of 40%, which is what seems to be getting social media in a tizzy, was from a X by Musk. Are you saying the social media frenzy was over a raise of 4% which would be their first raise since 2009? Do you consider 4% over the last 15 years to be a vast increase in pay? Maybe you are getting several different reports confused?

AI got it wrong. Questioning the credibility of MSM after this OP is a joke. The 40% came from an X (tweet) by Musk, there is no truth to it. Congress have not had a raise since 2009, they voted not to recieve the raises that were due. This year the raise would be 3.8% if they chose to take one. Begs the question to what the AI actually reviewed.

Pay the electricity standing charge by direct debit from your BBL account and your name will appear on the receipt that comes in the post. Lloyds offshore accepted that from me. Fairly sure that if you request a six month statement from BBL your address will appear on that as well.

MAGA had all those Leftie tears to drink in but it didn't take Joe long to get the MAGA tears flowing again. Well played Biden.

I'm 100% for legal, controlled immigration into the US. I'll never understand why Lefties want the borders wide open.
Even the AN Lefties want the US border wide open while at the same time being in full support of Thailand immigration laws.
I can't wrap my head around that at all. It just makes no sense. You can't wrap your head around it because it isn't true. Post a link that proves the "lefties" have stopped checks at all the borders and are just letting people in.

Make sure you stay hydrated. My father was in and out of hospital due to constipation when he was in his eighties, the cause was always due to not staying hydrated.

According to the link, still no action since 24 April 2024, so hard to see how they can start investigations (on means test benefits) in 6 weeks time.
1st reading in the commons, then house of Lords, 2nd reading in the commons ........ more like 2 years than 6 weeks.
What link did you read? The link is to a statement made in October 2024 about a proposed new bill called the DWP Fraud, error and debt bill. As I stated, I doubt whether they will be able to pass it into law by January. As I also stated, the videos seem to be about a bill that died in the House of Lords in April due to the election.

Watching YouTube vids last night, one came up on what is going to happen from January 2025 regarding the fraud and the pension 'benefit'. So I watched it and was taken aback by what is REALLY going to happen that will affect ALL pensioners wherever you reside, including the UK.
Take too long to go through it on here, you must watch and listen to every word till the end of the vid.
Later another vid came up on the same subject, I watched it, more or less the same contact, then another, same, all confirming what is going to happen, and one thing is clear, those claiming the full pension and living in LOS will have something to worry about.
Pensioners in the UK will get letters with forms to fill in, phone numbers, addresses, bank account etc details. Bank statements, to look at where payments are going over periods, payments for normal living in the UK.
The bloke on here who keeps making stories up will soon be riding off into the sun-set, as what the Gov is now going to do, will bury him...
I have said for years on here, one day the dots will line up, for sure this is the first major step.....😱
Think these videos are referring to the bill that was stalled in the House of Lords when the election took place so is now dead. The current government is reintroducing it as the DWP Fraud, error and debt bill which was announced in October. Doubt that it will be passed by the end of the year.

I agree. Enforcement - what will that consist of? Road blocks to check for compliance won't do much. Thai police don't have vehicles to actively patrol the highways and roads...a little 160 cc motorbike won't be pursuing any speeding or reckless violators. Thai culture has very limited understanding of safety risks - even motorbike cops ride with a helmet that isn't buckled, or just loosely attached. Sensitive to "someone looked at me", most cars have blacked out windows and insanely have tint on the front that limits nite time visibility. It ain't gonna change, not for traffic violations, crashes or fatalities.
Local police have 160 and 300cc bikes, highway police have 1,000cc bikes.

Thats interesting - I have never found this to be the case...
In my experience, Medication has always been more expensive directly from the hospital to such a degree, when I visit a hospital, I get the name of the medication prescribed and go and get it elsewhere, particularly if it going to expensive stuff....
... But even a strip of Ibuprofen (accorcia) is about 3-4x more expensive when prescribed and obtained directly from the hospital.
Clearly this is a case of experiences vary (YMMV)...
Government hospitals may well be cheaper.... Private certainly aren't.
I totally agree that private hospitals are way more expensive for meds than a pharmacy, that is why I specified government hospitals. All the medications I get from the government hospital are significantly cheaper.

Not true. Meds from a government hospital are often significantly cheaper than a pharmacy. Monthly supply for me is 300 baht from the hospital and 850 baht in a pharmacy.

Lost mine a couple of years ago. No need to report it to the police. You fill a report out at the DLT explaining when and where it was lost. I took the receipt for the sticker with me, can't remember if that was necessary. Charged about 20 baht I think.

25 odd years ago, when the police stopped on the spot fines and started issuing tickets in my town, the procedure was that your bike was kept, you had to go to the station, pay the fine and return with the receipt to get your bike released. Could take well over an hour and involve motorcycle taxi fares depending on where you were pulled over. That never seemed to make them wear helmets.

This is the only country I've been to where the police don't actively patrol the roads and rely on 'checkpoints'.
Except they do actively patrol the roads. Numerous highway police stations in my area and often see highway police cars (yellow and burgundy) and occasionally motorcycles (white). Unfortunately they usually only seem to stop overloaded pickups.

$2 million for the alleged assault and over $85 million for the mean words.
And women's groups stayed quiet, as long as they "got Trump".
That is not true though is it. The 85 million was for ignoring the original verdict and continuing to defame the victim. Basically Trump fined himself 85 million because he couldn't keep his mouth shut.

I have no issue fitting my glasses with my full face Real helmet. The only issue I do have is that my glasses have progressive lenses so I have to be careful how I position them as the helmet tends to raise them slightly higher than normal.

One point that concerns me.
The bank officer said the 12 month statement will be from October 1 2023 to October 21 2024, the date my extension application is dated.
I will not be able to go back to Immigration until the 28th or 30th.
Will the bank statement still be accepted as valid?
I use the 12 month statement and an updated bank book to cover the few days from the last entry on the statement to the day I do the application. I only update my bank book twice a year now so rarely need a new one.
