Dunno why everyone thinks it's a big problem.

Landlady will keep the deposit which will easily pay for the cleanup.

50bht for a packet of black bin liners and about 1 hours work.

    Exactly...

Seen too many properties used for cultivating cannabis, holes in the walls and ceilings, electrics ripped out, electric meter bypassed,  pots and bags of soil all over the floors, doors and windows smashed.

Fans, ducting, lights, watering systems, light ballasts, banks of sockets and anything else used in production of cannabis all smashed up by the police where it was found, the police remove only the cannabis and leave the rest to the landlord to sort, and that maybe the front and back doors plus a few windows smashed in by the police, and the may well have lifted a few floor boards and smashed a few holes in studded walls looking for stashes of drugs and money.

One thing for sure I would not be a landlord, the stupid thing is that many of them had rented to people they thought they knew, like relatives, friends of family...

Only a few days ago Boris said we are ready to deal with Coronavirus, well we are not...

We should have a dedicated call centre, (offshoot of NHS 101) where:

    1. The need to self isolate can be confirmed.

    2. Help and support can be enabled ensuring that no one has to leave their home.

    3. Coordinating with GP's and pharmacists to ensure medical supplies can be left on the doorstep.

    4. Frequenter calls monitoring the health of those in self isolation, and arranging transfer to isolation hospital if health deteriorates.

    5. Issue of sick notes to employers.

There is a lot that needs to be done and it is not being...

but how can anyone believe that the world is flat and that man never stood on the moon.

Anyone putting a rocket into orbit surely understands what keeps satellites up. And surely one would expect a 1st world country to have laws that control the operation of maned rocket flights?

And surely this guy was not working alone, those that helped him must be looking for top lawyers to defend them in the pending manslaughter and other looming law suits.

Morons destroying others property. They think they will get sympathy?  chuck them in jail.

The law on protesting needs radical changes...

There should be a rite to protest, protesters should be be able to be seen and heard to a point, but it should stop short of actions that cause a nuisance, inconvenience or announce to the public in general.

Of course if tens of thousands wish to protest that that may well cause inconvenience to some but if organisers had a legal duty to mitigate such protests as too cause minimal inconvenience or announce.

Is there a law that outlaws immoral acts conducted in private?

Yes, if those involved are underage and sex is involved.

My comment was in reply too the quote:- "illegal and immoral acts"

Yes what you say is true sex between or involving a minor is illegal, but apart from incest what other sex act is illegal?

But the original quote was "illegal and immoral acts" because something is immoral does not make it illegal.

The government will pay Bt1 million in compensation to the next of kin of 27 of the people killed in last Saturday’s mass shooting in downtown Nakhon Ratchasima.

The wounded will receive compensation depending on the seriousness of their injuries, he said – either Bt200,000 or Bt100,000.

    Lets see... 27 families to get Bt100,000 - Bt200,000, that would equal Bt2.7 - Bt5.4 million.

No wonder Thailand's economy is in a mess...

Another Pheu MP for the province, Mr. Sirasith Lertduaylarb, said he wondered how one rogue solider could steal several weapons and ammunition from a military armoury to use in the shooting spree.

“It would only take 20-30 people with similar mind sets as the rogue soldier, and we could lose all our tanks as well!” he quipped.

So the secret is out Thailand has only 20-30 tanks...

If it picked up the last passengers on Feb 1st, we are 80% through the incubation period, so if no one on board has fallen ill thus far, you would think it is looking pretty good. As they were to be taken straight to the airport and home the decision seems a little heavy, especially since it appears Thailand had agreed initially.

could have allowed them to dock Friday following full screening of passengers before docking.

Friday the 14th, 14 days since leaving gong Kong, 14 days quarantine.

    Long ago, I was part of a shooting club; I owned a French brand 22 LR competition rifle;
    I would have liked to buy an Anschutz ( german made ) but it was much more expensive than my MAB (Manufacture d'Armes de Bayonne);
When I moved with it, the breech was never in the same box as the rifle and the ammunition were in a third place.

Had a call from a guy who's farther had passed away, and in sorting out his estate this guy who held a shot gun licences himself needed to access his fathers guns which were in a gun safe so the police could inspect them, but he did not know where his farther kept the keys, knowing that ammo needed to be kept separate I suggested he first check the ammo box, sure enough I just talked my way out of a job.
