He will be in prison for months before they finally move him to Bangkok, on to the IDC and eventually arrange a repatriation after he's paid a lot of money.

It's all about the money with these people.

If he has no money then how do you get blood out of a stone.

They probably hoping he has some kin or friends that will help out, or the Austrian consulate may help out but that would be probably a last resort hence the long time waiting to be deported.

Personally I think it should be the country that issued the passport that he was travelling on should be responsible for repatriation costs and recoup them from him however they can.

  2. I was not there then, of course I contacted friends in Pattaya who knew very little about it, it was a work colleague who was out in the Maldives who on our return to work the following week that no one had heard from, A text and a few hours later a reply I am ok,  seems when the wave hit the Maldives at 9:30 local time he was diving, he just heard popping and had big currants, he had to just grab the Corral and wait it out, when he surfaced his boat was over 400m away, total devastation.

No one arrested him my friend base on his 1 day over stay, read it carefully,  they arrested him base on the fact that he is a criminal that stay , drink and eat without paying and the ability to pay.

That is a civil matter, what was he arrested for again?

Seems the charges are relating to the fact that he had no intention of paying, that is theft, and a criminal action.

Cone on one day, Yes arrest and fine him for his transgressions but overstay one day just taking him to the airport and make him pay his 500baht and leave.

He obtained goods and services without the means and or intention to pay and you think they should overlook the overstay???

If they took him to the airport, had he a flight booked? has he the means to pay for a flight?

Think he will be staying a little longer...

Yes, the other theory is that it is a negotiating  move to get Airbus 320s on the cheap, Walsh has committed to nothing with Boeing yet.

If this is the case he may be disappointed,  Airbus has more orders than it can fulfil and may simply tell him to go forth and multiply.

Have not heard the Resident Share tipster suggesting that Airbus may be a good investment.

That would be third world countries like the UK, where the wonderful Walsh (A recognised bottom feeder) has put in a provisional order for 200 for IAG (Which BA is a large part of).

It is a cunning plan... when Boeing can not deliver or the planes are indefinitely grounded, BA will sue for damages. As Boeing is a US company B.A. could be awarded Trillions of Dollars. ????

I will repay your trust', UK PM Johnson tells ex-Labour voters on trip to north

Boris has a lot of promises to make good...

“So congratulations if you wanted Boris Johnson as pm.

Please don’t celebrate too much though as you have work to do. You see us <deleted> have spent three and a half years now telling you brexit was wrong but we’ve finally and completely lost. There’s pretty much nothing we can do now to stop it.

So, it’s over to you leavers. You need to get yourselves into gear to make it work. We need to see some of these benefits you’ve been able to see yet unable to properly articulate since 2016.

I hope you don’t mind but I’ve taken the liberty of writing a “to do” list for you.

    1. Get brexit done please. When we say done we mean as promised so we’ll be looking for trade deals with the EU, Japan, Australia and Canada etc. In fact there’s about 40 deals covering 70 countries that need to be done please. Also with the US that doesn’t involve the nhs or chlorine. We want what you promised us. That was that we’d be no worse off than when we were an EU member. You need to crack on as this was promised by the end of Jan. You have seven weeks.

    2. The NHS. We want the cash that was promised please. £350 million per week is about 72000 nurses so please get recruiting. This is important.

    3. Scotland. Ok so these guys were promised they would remain in the EU if they remained in the UK. They’re pretty <deleted>. In fact they’ve voted almost exclusively for the SNP so they might want to leave. Equally you said the UK wouldn’t split so you’ll need to both grant Scotland its independence and keep it as part of the United Kingdom. Good luck squaring this circle. NB This is urgent.

    4. Northern Ireland. Oooookay then. You’ve really buggered this one up. There’s a chance they could look to reunify with the republic now because they didn’t want to brexit. Regardless you’ve caused instability there where we and they can least afford it. NB This is also urgent.

    5. The economy. Johnson keeps talking about unleashing the potential of the country. We need to see this soon if possible. We don’t want to see the downturn that “project fear” predicted. We don’t want to be poorer. We don’t want to lose out.

    6. You’ll also need to “bring the country back together”. This might be tricky as a lot of people seem to be really really angry with each other.

That’s as far as I’ve got. Should keep you busy. So go and get all british about things. Roll up your sleeves, pull your socks up, dig deep and deliver what you promised.

And remember if you fail to deliver any of this it’s on you, brexit and Tory voters. You wanted this so badly and now you have it. We honestly hope we’re wrong and that you can make a success of this but if you can’t then we will forever tell you that we told you so.”

She was under the controll of Epstein and trafficked to various parts of the world . This is well established in US court documents amd flight logs.

The 1956 act was repealled by the 2003 act.

The 1956 act is still used today for historical cases. See CPS guidelines.

The 1956 act has no legal definition of consent. It is given its ordinary meaning and distinguished from submission.

The question arises could the girl who has been sexually exploited by a person convicted of procuring underage girls for the purpose of prostitution give consent in the circumstances described.

Where the person giving the consent is of a mental capacity to do so and is free withould the consent.

Then would you be so kind as to give an example where in the past a person has been prosecuted for having sex with a woman who was procured for them?

Also the the law on consent has changed somewhat to what it was 16 years ago, then a woman would actually have to say "no"...

How about the 1956 sexual offences act

The original 1956 act made it unlawful to procure a person under the age of 21

procure!!!   Time to get one's dictionary out...

In actual fact the said act say's:

    Quote

23 Procuration of girl under twenty-one.

(1)It is an offence for a person to procure a girl under the age of twenty-one to have unlawful sexual intercourse in any part of the world with a third person.

As amended in 1995 and repealed in 2004.

The term payment is wide in scope

see section 47 to 51 of the relevant UK act

And where does it say the "Sexual Offences Act 2003" can be used retrospectively???

Likewise in the US the law varies from state to state and may have been rather different back in 2001.

If you had read the OP in full you will see he has just rubbished her fairy story...

As far as I know she is the only one pointing a finger at Andrew, she talked of an orgy, think there were as stated by her 8 young ladies there, so why are the other 7 not clamouring to to get their 15 minutes?

There are a lot of calls for Andrew to testify, but really was he the only witness? or is it more about who he is???

Andrew should have been more careful about choosing his friends, he is paying the price for that.

    "Police shoot dead man ...."

Geez .... This sounds even worse than things that happen in Thailand!

If the man was already dead, why shoot dead man?

I was wondering if my English is too bad to understand or the text is stupid.

    Was it meant to be?

"Police shoot a dead man ...." or "Police shoot dead, a man ...."
