  1. I just saw the words "Social Worker". Might explain some of the posts and the reasoning.

Sorry, those posts last night were well , well out of order.

So Costas, absolutely not voting for her.

Social Worker LMFAO. Too many Gala Dinners at the Rotary Club with self righteous pats on the back.

  2. OK, we need an independent agency to make a transcript of the video. Any volunteers? The comment starts at about the 0:57 mark.

And there's a chilled bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for anyone who gets it right!

Here we go booze again. Nancy admitting you have a problem is the first step. You're a booze houndburp.gif

  3. Here we go again. Grab 100 baht of everyone and let them off with a "Stern Warning". Why don't the Cops intern them in Buriram or somewhere over the holidays.

Yes here we go again. Perhaps their presence along the beach road is an ATTRACTION for many of the tourists who come here and as long as they are not intrusive on those who do not want to hire their obviously highly popular services, then I see no harm in it, without the leeching pondlife pimps involved that is. Time we stopped this silly facade and made FREELANCE prostitution totally legal for consenting adults and at the same time made pimping even more illegal with much higher fines and prison sentences for those a'hole lowlife who wickedly exploit these ladies. If it were legalised and accepted then there could be an allotted area in Pattaya, and all other towns, for such street or bar trading, maybe a normally non touristy small soi in Pattaya or even a selected area of the beach road, say maybe the few hundred less attractive metres next to the Walking street end.

Whatever, I find this rubbish law all very silly and hypocritical to be honest.

I don't have a problem with them plying their trade and anyone who wants to have sex with a completely unregulated prostitute has that choice.

The problem has been their own doing. Thieving, drugging, robbing whatever. If you take a hooker from a bar you can always find them if you wake up robbed.

Anyway Beach Road is an absolute filthy mess who would hang out there I don't know.

  4. As you state in your vid your major expense is booze:burp:

You're misquoting me AFT. I said food and beverage is our major expense but it would be less if we didn't drink beer and wine.

My point was the interviewer was wrong to start asking by about housing expense -- at 12,000 baht/month (at that time) it's less than the grocery and restaurant bill and would be even if we didn't drink alcohol.

How can I misquote your own video?

"Why don't the Cops intern them in Buriram or somewhere over the holidays."

Intern them? You mean take them on as fledgling policemen?

If you meant confine them to a barbed-wire enclosed internment or concentration camp because they looked suspicious or were found loitering, that could fail the sniff test when it comes to human rights violations.

Sounds like what you're advocating is that the police round up all the "natives" who have no permit to enter areas reserved for pale skinned people and ship them back to their designated homelands.

Internment is the imprisonment or confinement[1] of people, commonly in large groups, without trial. Collins English dictionary defines internment as "the act of interning or state of being interned, esp of enemy citizens in wartime or of terrorism suspects".

Yes exactly what I meant ship them off somewhere. It's got nothing to do with their skin color they are just thieves and rogues.

  6. Well, OK I'd had a long day and a few red wines. I think David's twins are cute. I just don't think it's a good idea for him to be showing them to the entire world on a public forum where someone could piece together details about where he (and they live). They can't give their informed consent to be shown to the entire world and these posts stay on the internet for a long time. That part of my post I think is still valid and deserves to be mentioned.

Some of the other language I used to describe David's actions was out-of-line and for that I apologize.

At no time did I say anything inappropriate about the twins. They're adorable.

As you state in your vid your major expense is boozeburp.gif

Who say's they are from Buriram?

    Please re-read the sentence.

Exactly, "Here we go again" ..

Why don't you take a break in Buriram, or somewhere over the holidays? coffee1.gif.pagespeed.ce.Ymlsr09gMJARfU4 alt=coffee1.gif width=32 height=24>

Thanks for the invitation but I have made other arrangements. Maybe see you at the WSBK in the RAM.

  8. Well the mood this morning is rather snarky out on the campaign trail. I really really wish I could see the deleted posts. Who lost the plot this time?

My man UG has kept out of the muck and maintained 4th place, and my early 1st choice JT has regained some ground. Nancy is way out front despite having no avatar. Which really shows a lack of commitment. A poster of the year with no avatar? Inconceivable! She could be anyone - people you should be afraid.

David and Costas are still playing bucket of crabs, holding each other back. And Neverdie remains the funniest commentator but so far it hasn't helped his tally. Although I hear he is comfortable with a small tally.

And no surprise to anyone, Frollywolly's avatar has two votes. It would be a landlside win for the avatar were she not connected to Frollwolly proper.

Nancy had one too many Pimms last night and started gobbing off. She's not as docile as she makes out.

Anyway all posts should be restored in the interests of a free and fair election. Otherwise people may think that Nancy has the mods vote.

  9. He wrote me up for no motorcycle license last time I was there. Definitely taller than your average Thai and euro accent. As I recall he was dressed in the usual traffic uniform and armed. My impression was he was a Thai who had lived in Europe. I went to the trouble of getting an international driving license before going this time. I presented it to him thinking I was fine but he read it front to back and noticed there was no motorcycle stamp. I was not aware. I got a ticket. I drive carefully and never over speed but still get stopped at every checkpoint. Yes...I always wear my helmet. I've been vacationing in pattaya for six years. I won't be back for any extended period. Maybe Kho Phi Phi trip one day. The checkpoints have progressively gotten worse. Tea money etc. I'm in the Philippines now. English speakers abound, smiles all around. No traffic police problems. There is no perfect place, but I feel welcome in the Philippines and that is what it is all about. I miss the pattaya I knew in 2008...motoring around with no helmet and not being stopped every other day.

Doubtfully armed as you say...>> usual traffic uniform and armed

He must have been Thai if he was armed unless he was a foreigner with Thai Citizenship who was a real Cop. Only a real Cop can write a ticket and/or take money and carry a firearm.
