    This may be true  but In the western world they admit to it but just claim mental illness  or a poor upbrigning

    The transaction is between two people, not the third 

     

    I rememebr when i used to be a waiter, the wife/gf who was asian, was a complete whining bitch about everything.

    Even requested the bill, i placed it in front of her and she stared at me like "why the hell did you put this in front of me

    IF the woman wants a house, then make the 10-year loan down-payment for her. At least she will stick around for the next 10 years and you will minimize your losses.

     

    Paying 100% is just plain STUPID! 

    I have a Thai friend living os who has a Thai friend in Thailand, recently divorced (insert random excuse), and because she has 2 young kids and needs money to raise them, went on a dating site and then got 2 guys sending $100/£100 per week quickly

     

    Didn't think there were that many desperate and stupid guys out there.....

    In my country, there are a few buffets with similar, pay if you leave leftover type of system.

     

    Popular with Asian operators (even though the food may not be asian)

     

    When enforced its usually a very aggressive standoff between the staff and customer, usually both  party's aggressively nit picking on the definition of a left over, 

     

    Ruins the experience for me, however wasting food is one of my pet hates, it's digusting
