I was in a honda dealers yesterday and just to give you an example, a honda wave 110cc cash price 38000 baht was being offered at 2500 baht down and 1590 baht per month for 39 months so thats aroind 65000 baht in total, as some have suggested unless you have money to throw away buy it cash.

That makes a death rate from homicide of one in 300,000 visitors. The Uk death rate from murder within the UK is one in every 100,000 inhabitants each year. It is approx 600 per year. Ergo Thailand is safer than the UK to be in at any given time. Conspiracy theorists please note.

Think you'd best check out the overall murder rate in Thailand compared to the U.K before you make such statements.

Once you get into lure fishing for the big snakeheads in the wild, its hard to go back to fishing the fishing parks. Especially when the fry start showing, its heart stopping stuff, I recommend it, but it can be hard going fishing the huge reservoirs, depends what you want from your fishing I suppose.

Now im no lawyer ,but I think the best way to approach this if you do get pulled over or asked to be searched for no apparent reason is to be polite and co operative and inform the police that you will be recording there search of you on your mobile phone so as to have proof, should you need it in a court of law, i also have a windscreen mounted GOPRO for the car just in case any one on the road wants to try it on, blaming the tourist for an accident he had no involvement with, probably best bit of kit ive bought for Thailand and in my opinion the reason i have been waved on through police checkpoints time and time again, they do not like it if they are being recorded.

In regards to taking video on your phone, im not sure what the Thai law is pertaining to taking video in a public place of police, no doubt theres some permit or other required, ill ask the question in the legal forum and see what they say.

Same thing mate, Rock lobsters just another name for a crayfish, No comparison to Maine Lobster. Dont think id pay 495 baht for a crayfish, but each to there own

Lobsters have Claws, Crayfish dont, i hope the OP got a proper lobster for his 14500 Baht
